Medvedev: US to blame for global financial crisis

Russia’s president says the United States is to blame for the global financial crisis — and presents his case in an online preview of his state-of-the-nation speech.

The highly anticipated speech Wednesday will be President Dmitry Medvedev’s first state-of-the-nation address since taking office in May. A preview of the speech is available in a video posted on the Kremlin Web site.
Medvedev also says he will discuss the international consequences of the war in August that Russia fought with Georgia.
Medvedev has posted several videos on the Kremlin Web site. And his predecessor in the presidency, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, this week unveiled a new Web site for himself.

Thanks for giving us a “heads-up” about this speech – if he chooses to, Mr. Medvedev could completely “out” ” quite a few folks worldwide who contributed to the global financial crisis, but hopefully he will also provide his own country with some solid plans and solutions as to what exactly he plans to accomplish now, along with the expected fist-shaking. Maybe along with being an energy exporter Russia could more fully develop its food production, so that along with fueling the world Russia could help feed it?

That’s funny, no one put a gun to these peoples’ heads to make them use US goods or trade US dollars. I guess the fat lazy american attitude is spreading overseas.

And if they were making a ton of money they would congratulate themselves on wisely investing in our country. It’s the same s--- attitude that you see in the US. Big deal, you gambled on our economy and you lost, you should have diversified as any investor with half a brain knows.

Yah, your right, its just a coincidence that the fed printed all that money and issued all that credit. Its also a coincidence that janet reno threatened banks and forced them to approve loans to those that couldn`t afford. Its also a coincidence that Glass Steagall was repealed. …it might just be me but I feel we’ve gone “full circle”, again! This is quite counter-productive if I may say so. The situation resembles a 3rd grade school yard classic: “my daddy’s stronger than yours!”. Hey, perhaps we’ll see a “youth brigade” put in charge of keeping a watchful eye on this matter, just like our “big environmental issues”!
I believe that a “peoples revolution” is eminent simply b/c I can’t be the only one who’s “fed up” w/ being constantly bombarded w/ ridiculous propaganda by my own government, the Russians, Americans, Canadians, Europeans and basically every developed country around today has got to be full of angry oppressed citizens. But I’m just guessing.
Let’s all keep in mind that it’s “We the People” who give power to their government, w/o the people their just a bunch of chimps in suits! So this also means “We the People”, like it or not, are ultimately responsible for their crimes against children and human beings around the world. That’s right , we’ve all got blood on our hands folks! Sad but true, most don’t even know b/c their too busy working for “slave wages(when compared to costs of living)” to pay off a debt on food,living quarters and transportation. It’s clearly a “stage” as dean was writing, for economic slavery that is!

one, I am not saying that this wasn’t orchestrated. I saw the writing on the wall, and I knew that if something seems to good to be true, it probably is.
I picked up a mortgage during the good ol days of the early 2000s and I am fine. Sure the bankers and the elite are to blame for this fiasco, however those people that went and picked up mortgages on properties they couldn’t afford normally are just as much to blame as the people making this all happen.
I voted early for Chuck Baldwin by the way.
So you are saying that all those people that borrowed subprime mortgages are not to blame? That is ridiculous, they are also at fault.
Greed is a two way street. What about all those people buying propertied to flip them and continue causing the price of real estate to bubble? I guess Janet Reno is to blame for that too.
It is American Greed and American Laziness that caused this problem.
WE ARE TO BLAME for this problem right now. We could have voted third party instead of Bush-Gore, Bush-Kerry, Clinton etc. But we didn’t. We could vote out the congressmen and senators, but we didn’t.
We can choose to not borrow money, but we went ahead and borrowed.
To say that the elite are to blame for all of this is nonsense and ignorance. I am doing my best to educate people about their choices and what they can do to make their lives better.
Vote the bastards out plain and simple and inform as many people as you can. Slowly the avalanche will build and we will prevail.
These fraudsters are all merely people, they can be stopped and they will be stopped. But sitting around and blaming others for the plight that you are in is stupid and asinine. Unless they shackled you to get the mortgage and invest in stocks, you have no excuse.

I have noticed the latest world news by England and most other nations is to focus the “blame” on the US for everything they suffer…
It is that easy.. never accept responsibility for your own actions and circumstances.. Just blame someone else.
