This isn’t Iraq or Pakistan. It’s Mexico, which the U.S. government and a growing number of experts say is becoming one of the world’s biggest security risks.
The prospect that America’s southern neighbor could melt into lawlessness provides an unexpected challenge to Barack Obama’s new government. In its latest report anticipating possible global security risks, the U.S. Joint Forces Command lumps Mexico and Pakistan together as being at risk of a “rapid and sudden collapse.”
“The Mexican possibility may seem less likely, but the government, its politicians, police and judicial infrastructure are all under sustained assault and pressure by criminal gangs and drug cartels,” the command said in the report published Nov. 25.
“How that internal conflict turns out over the next several years will have a major impact on the stability of the Mexican state.”

The drug wars should worry us. It was our society that has spread drug violence all over the world through our perceived right to place those illegal substances into our bodies. There is no way that we will escape the mayhem that we have brought to so many places in the world through our insatiable appetite for illicit drugs. Legalize it? Our government is not going to allow that primarily due to the financial and control benefits it brings. Form a society standpoint, those who are smart and honest enough to acknowledge the spiritual aspects of this world are well aware that illicit drugs open the users up for demonic control. That demonic possession of so many people is going to accelerate the end time destruction.

Sounds convenient from a diminishing resources point of view. Mexico is our third largest supplier of oil. As their needs (demand) grows for oil in conjunction for a diminishing supply their exports will fall. What better scenario that political instability than for us to move in, provide “stability” and ensure that we continue to get cheap oil.
What we need is better leadership in our government instead of playing stupid old CIA- esque politics from the 20th century to maintain the bureaucratic leviathan created by plentiful energy resources that are now declining, we need a complete change in paradigm including the possibility of declining not increasing economic models. Hello elite? You are acting in reactive behavior, you are putting even your own power regime in danger, better start thinking and quick.

I use to work around a bunch of mexicans and they would complain about all the gringos…i guess the beheadings would be bothersome. It’s a great way to police the us with a big brother control, if mexico started breeding terrorists we’d be petrified, we would allow martial law to take over and the NAU and national id. you know to be safe. And the guy above who said something about violence to end violence, then protests about the violence. It’s not funny haha it’s funny, something else. You gotta think they have a plan b and c just in case imploding the economy doesn’t quite do it.
I really love how coverage of the increasing riots and protests in europe is somehow unimportant. s--- almost forgot, obama change yes we can. I hope there isn’t any honeymoon for this guy. I hope he does good, i’m not buying into his campaign promises, we do need some sort of positive change. Obama? hope for the best prepare for the worst.

does anyone have an opinion as to why mexico’s violence has ramped up in the last 6 months? i would figure lack of production has initiated desperation. that being said i figure familys are moving to illicit means to provide for their family. i believe that there are other mechanisms at work here too. those poor bastards have had their virgin cornfields invaded by monsantos frankencorn. there is a really good doc on how up monsanto is and how they plan to control people with food as their weapon.
the world according to monsanto can be accessed on youtube. to hell with monsanto. the us has used mexico for years as a tool. now that globalism has spread worldwide, we have cast mexico aside. personally, i believe these druglords are perhaps out of hand however its just like the media to monger people. our friggin government have a stake in the drugs being brought over here also. brown sugar heroin( manufactured in all points south of the border. including clandestine areas of mexico) mary jane and the final processing step for cocaine also. if the war on drugs is truly being waged you would figure after twenty five years there would be a reduction of volume, but the contrary exists.

Legalize drugs and your problems are solved. Though CIA doesn’t like that idea so to drive prices its best to make it illegal and become the main distributor yourself. In my country they had this scheme where police where protecting drugs transports themselves in order to track the who where and why and while doing so the agents who got assigned got the idea to make a little profit on top. Then at the point parliament held hearings the head of the investigation was killed in a suspicious accident.
