As the Times Online reports, the corporate behemoth Microsoft is on the verge of unleashing a technology capable of eliminating “green inkers” and conspiracy theorists. “Microsoft has just been awarded a patent for technology designed to automatically detect and remove ‘undesired words or phrases’ from all manner of digital communications, ranging from YouTube broadcasts to internet chat and songs,” writes Mark Harris.

According to Mr. Harris, Microsoft will release this technology to protect children, which is the usual explanation. “The patent describes a system that listens out for phonemes (word fragments) likely to be part of a swearword. If it thinks it hears a forbidden phrase, the software either fades out the offending syllables or simply replaces the rude word with a similar-sounding but clean alternative lifted from earlier speech without a second’s delay.” Of course, defining “rude” will be left up to a corporate censor. It will not be limited to “explicit rap music.” It may very well include phrases such as “9/11 truth” and other political slogans at odds with the government.
For instance, Google’s behavior is not limited to DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) legal complaints, censoring search results on its Google China service, or training training police in India how to find “objectionable” material. Google also censors in the United States and Europe. In addition to blocking child pornography and certain Nazi websites, Google News routinely filters non-corporate media results. As the American Thinker reported in 2006, Google, “without any prior explanation or notice, has been terminating its News relationship with conservative e-zines and web journals.” But it isn’t simply conservative websites: Google and Yahoo have repeatedly censored Uruknet, the Italian antiwar news portal. Google routinely “excludes” information from Infowars.com, Prisonplanet.com, and fudges rankings, or removes entirely Alex Jones’ films from Google Video and the popular YouTube service, owned by the corporation. In addition to Google, MySpace, owned by Rupert Murdoch, is in the business of censoring political speech on its hugely popular social network. In May of 2007, for instance, a MySpace moderator “admitted that it is MySpace.com policy to censor and filter out posts containing links to the Prison Planet.com website, adding that the MySpace server automatically blocks such information,” according to Paul Joseph Watson.
It is relatively easy to find and exclude text-based posts and websites on a network, however until the advent of this latest technology it was a tedious and time-consuming process to find and exclude audio and video files. As Mark Harris notes, governments and corporations may go beyond simply censoring obscene and pornographic material and use this technology to prevent “people from even discussing concepts such as ‘protest’ or ‘freedom,” especially under the rubric of anti-terrorism.

As a suggestion to anyone who reads this article (and similar ones) and does nothing. Start doing what I do: writing to these companies and let them know that what they are doing is completely illegal and wrong. Emails do work. It only takes a few minutes. You may not be able to physically confront them but they will know we are on top of them.

Not to insult anyone here, but have you guys googled infowars.com?: It comes up with plenty of “Alex Jones.” –I may be missing it but it does not look like google is censoring infowars at all… I do however believe that this new botting software is ridiculous, and a direct infringement ( again ) on our rights.
How will it be implemented? Will parents install it on their home computers? If that the case then why not ( pertaining to swearing )? How is Microsoft going to monitor every server, every computer? You would have to put that software on your site for it to work…
I guess I don’t understand how they plan to monitor the entire net! Perhaps the smallest reference to the patent number would be in order… I can’t even find the real story on the timesonline.com website.
Now that I am talking about it, I am a bit pissed off at the lack of supporting information this site provides: I would love to talk to everyone I know about all this stuff, as I have been a listener for a long while, but my only evidence is “well alex told me.” There should be a section with supporting documents, or references so we can check. I am tired of searching for these papers alex says exist, or these declassified things, but I search diligently and find nothing.
Our whole cause would be so much more affective if there was a repository for all that stuff, so when someone asks I can come here and print it out, or link to whatever it is.

From the short technical description and what I’ve been exposed to as an electronic technician, this thing is capable of much more than what is written here. To accomplish what they say it can do, it has to be a server side packet interception protocol. Now, to de-jargonize that, it detects the actual digital information inside a packet, not just looking at individual text or sound files, but EVERYTHING as it is transmitted in RAW form. This thing could affect email, VOIP, Standard telephone services either landline or cellular and anything else you’re likely to bump up against. Next time you get on the line to a friend or family about a serious topic or just to chat, be ready to be redacted! This should wake a lot of people up though, at least the ones that notice they can’t get a message through right anymore. Thanks again, Unca Bill!

K, I’ve got an awesome solution to this threat, if implemented. We begin replacing words that they may be targetting with words that would be an enormous task to delete. Instead of saying “9/11 truth”, we shall say “Jesus”. In place of all curse words, we shall say “money”. Instead of saying “revolution” we shall say “Luke Skywalker”. But this is merely a contingency plan in case we cannot stop this thing before it gets out of control. I would love to not have to censor myself whilst I type, because that may lead to me censoring myself whilst I think and so on. So we will fight em, but if we lose…we must stage a Luke Skywalker to ensure that people know about “Jesus” and show those money that we will not money stand for their money tyranny and mother money bull money censorship!

There have been a many of times that I needed a copy of something in order to show someone and could not find it very fast or not at all. We need a resource center (Alex are you listening??) And I think they should show how or who they get the info from. We need to get this thing more orginized.

Telephone ? Couldn’t this same technology be applied to telephones as soon as they are all converted to digital, just like they are doing now with television. All television must be digital by Jan 31st, 2009 – right? Maybe even before such a conversion. All cells are digital anyway – most for sure.

If you want to teach these assholes a lesson, read carefully. If you have no money left in your bank account, use your ATM card and go to any bank machine. Simply fill out a deposit slip and state “payback’s a bitch aint it” or simply write “go ask Microsoft for the money I just took from you” then proceed with the deposit and fill in an amount that equals your maximum withdrawal amount for the day. Next, proceed to withdraw the maximum amount you can withdraw for the day, this amount is usually set at $300 per person. Now withdraw that amount from your ATM. The bank won’t know you did this until the next day. And yes, the machine will give you the money because it doesn’t see how much you put in the envelope, it is just a machine and doesn’t know if you are lying! How’s that for sticking it to them. If enough people do this, it should make the news in mainstream media and WAKE everyone up as to what is going on. This trick will only work once and then your ATM card will be shut down, but at that point, who cares? Don’t get mad, get EVEN. The banks will then need to shut EVERYONE’S ATM withdrawal priviliges and that will piss off all the “Sheeple” and THE MESSAGE will be received by all. Peace all.

Google and Myspace are not the only MSM giants censoring you. Yahoo Answers has recently started censoring Infowars as well. Questions with Inforwars sites in the question are quietly censored (that is either text or links). Only the participant asking the question sees the question. The participant is not notified of the “violation” and may incorrectly assume that the question didn’t interest others.

They have become quite creative in it, i’ve ran across adleast two more ridiculous reasons for not displaying the video. Before this the page simply wouldn’t load, but now they’re apologetic in their crusade.

The current banking crises is man-made, that is, by the governments of the world who are Freemasons, and are allowed to run the governments by the Zionists, who in turn, own all the money of the world. The ‘credit crises’ was manufactured so that the governments would step in and ‘bail-out’ the banks, thus giving the governments control over the assets or the collateral which the banks held from their borrowers. So that you understand the manipulations going on here is a clip from the news casts on Tuesday 15 October 2008:
“WASHINGTON — The chief executives of the nine largest banks in the United States trooped into a gilded conference room at the Treasury Department at 3 p.m. Monday (14 October). To their astonishment, they were each handed a one-page document that said they agreed to sell shares to the government, then Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. said they must sign it before they left.” The banks were given no option: “It was a take it or take it offer…”
The banks who are under the Zionist own Federal Reserve Bank, (as also in Bank of England, and other ‘national’ banks throughout the world), are now totally controlled by Zionism, using the Governments as a front or a shield.
The next step is to have the populace totally under their control, and this is about to happen.
How? For many years now, the banks throughout the world have been offering credit cards, and auto loans at an unpresented rate. Almost every person in the world has a credit card, and in most cases they are maxed out to the limit.
Many have multiple cards, and they have all reached their limit. Now that the Governments (the Federal Banks) own the national banks, they will ‘call-in’ the debt on the credit cards. The people will not be able to pay. At this point, the banks (through the Federal or National Banks of Ireland/England/Italy/France etc will set the populace with a new and easy way to re-structure their debt with an new card giving them more ‘credit’ but at the same time they mortgage their future earnings by automatic withdrawals from their wages. The step following this is the total enslavement to the Zionist money system.
The governments will encourage the people with the ‘sale’ to buy into the charade. The people will be brought into the 666 system, and so receive the ‘mark of the beast’ as a prelude to the micro-chip or an equivalent.
At the same time Ecclesiastical Masonry (the churches) will encourage all of the ‘flock’ to subscribe to the ‘easing of their financial burdens,’ and encourage parents to use this ‘new found money’ to feed their children.
When all is in place, then the Zionist will topple the Freemason government and ecclesiastical control, and set up
the Zionist Kingdom of Israel over all the world.
We alert all who have credit cards to pay down their balances now. This is crucial. There is not much time left.
Let me caution on Zionism, for all Jews are not Zionists, only a very select few, and all Zionists are not Jews, but there are a very select few non Jews who are members of this diabolical organization. Then there is Israel, and the Israel which you think you know is not the Israel’ you think it to be.
There are basically 2 types of people in Israel, the Israelites, and the Israelis. The latter control the whole population mass, and these are they who want to set up the Kingdom of Israel. These are the Zionists who own the money of the world. The Kingdom of Israel is violently opposed to the Kingdom of God. The Israeli armed forces today is made up of 60% Godless Zionist soldiers. They are mostly Russian immigrants and others who have denied the existence of God. These are the true Zionist recruits.

On the other hand there are the Israelites who await the Messiah, and they await the Kingdom of God which they know must come. These will convert to Christ Jesus, but mostly during the Great Tribulation, and as we stated above:
‘they that are the children of the promise are accounted for the seed.’

I’m starting to notice much more subtle censorship in my own surfing. Links don’t work, polls don’t work that criticize the NWO or Zionists. My hard drive goes nuts when I visit certain alternative political sites.
The world mostly runs Microsoft Windows not by accident. It’s still full of security holes after years of apparent improvement. It updates almost daily if this feature is enabled. It doesn’t ship with a decent anti-virus or firewall.

You don’t have to write a word correctly either. People who spam know that well. There’s approximately 1.2 million grammatical combinations which you can use to write the name of the most spammed product on the internet. That many combinations for just one word. If they’re intending to censor it, they’ll have have a hard time unless they black out all text. For each trap there is an equal amount of ways of getting out. Human factor.

Well, web sites that don’t want to be censored will have to provide a site only accessable to pre-registered clients and provide the content through an encrypted channel from server to client. If the big boys start censoring, then someone else will step forward and provide internet service using new technologies. Example: light beam technology allows internet to be transmitted through the air in a light beam (not laser technology) that can’t be intercepted and also is not under FCC rules. Also the electrical system can carry audio and video. Everyone in America has electrical service as far as I know. If the big boys are not careful they will find out they are not the only game in town.

Often after posting to this site (75% if the time) I’ll do a spyware sweep and will find a diplodock program for tracking system activity. The diplodock program is from HKLM software which is owned by microsoft (macrosuck?) I am not accusing infowars or Alex of having anything to do with this. I am not entirely sure that the program is being picked up on this site. I am using Agnitum software for my firewall / spyware. Microsoft also has a program in their browser that will try and terminate your firewall / spyware programs.

A few weeks ago my Windows Vista OS (on my laptop) started downloading and installing ambiguous “updates” WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, even though I disabled the option to have them automatically installed. I was simply notified by a pop-up window that I needed to restart.
I promptly backed up my necessary files and formatted the hard disk. I now run Ubuntu Linux.
At least with Linux I CHOOSE whether or not to update. I control it.
I believe that the open-source concept should apply to all organizations and institutions of society.
