Military and Homeland Security Dictate Who Lives And Who Dies In A Pandemic

A new report compiled by a medical "task force" comprising physicians from prestigious universities, medical groups, the military and government agencies has outlined that specific groups of people should not be treated and be left to die should a flu pandemic or other deadly disease disaster infect millions throughout the USA.
Doctors in the pay of federal government agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health and Human Services have concluded that the already ill, the weak, the severely injured and the elderly will have to "forgo" life.
According to the report, which appears in the May edition of Chest, the medical journal of the American College of Chest Physicians, those who won’t be treated will include:
• People older than 85.
• Those with severe trauma, which could include critical injuries from car crashes and shootings.
• Severely burned patients older than 60.
• Those with severe mental impairment, which could include advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
• Those with a severe chronic disease, such as advanced heart failure, lung disease or poorly controlled diabetes.
Designated hospital "triage teams" will ultimately decide who gets treated and who is left to perish.

Dr. Asha Devereaux, lead writer of the task force report, told the AP "the proposed guidelines are designed to be a blueprint for hospitals ’so that everybody will be thinking in the same way’ when (our emphasis) pandemic flu or another widespread health care disaster hits."
"Prior to the rationing of critical care resources, hospitals and surrounding areas must first experience a “trigger” event that includes a declared state of emergency and lack of critical equipment or infrastructure." the report states.
"The decision to initiate emergency mass critical care (EMCC) must occur in conjunction with local and regional Medical Emergency Operations Command authority and not by individual hospitals."
"If a mass casualty critical care event were to occur tomorrow, many people with clinical conditions that are survivable under usual health care system conditions may have to forgo life-sustaining interventions owing to deficiencies in supply or staffing," the report continues.
"While the notion of rationing health care is unpleasant, the report could help the public understand that it will be necessary," a senior vice president at American Hospital Association, said.
Critics and commentators have pointed out that the proposed rules are discriminatory and effectively exclude care for the poorest, most disadvantaged citizens in an emergency.
Others have noted that the report may set a grim precedent for other disasters such as a repeat of a Hurricane Katrina type situation.
We have previously reported on moves to use a disease outbreak as justification to suspend Constitutional rights.
Last September we reported the fact that the World Health Organization and the U.N. have been handed control over response procedures in the event of a pandemic outbreak in the U.S. after an agreement was signed by President Bush at the 2007 Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting, bypassing congressional approval.
The origins of the agreement can be traced back to 2005, when President Bush announced a new International Partnership on Avian and Pandemic Influenza to a High-Level Plenary Meeting of the U.N. General Assembly, in New York.
In April of 2005 President Bush also added pandemic influenza to the list of diseases for which quarantine is authorized.
China’s zealous martial law tactics in dealing with SARS, home detention, curfews, mandatory vaccinations, restriction of travel, are the model for what could unfold in the US.
The federal blueprint for the exact same scenario was released and picked up by the Associated Press a year earlier in 2004.
This is a slow process of conditioning the public to accept mandatory vaccinations and restrictions on mobility under a rule of martial law.
The ball started rolling back in 2001 when the Model States Emergency Health Powers Act was passed, which allows for total government takeover of every industry, vehicle, building, location, distribution process, you name it.
And when this flu pandemic happens who will we blame? Surely not US scientists playing around with the deadly 1918 Spanish flu virus at "less than the maximum level of containment" according to the New Scientist magazine.

I know that everyone on this site has a healthy dose of paranoia, but this sounds like a reasonable response in a pandemic situation, which doesn’t have to be man-made (at least not on purpose- anti-biotics and anti-viral drugs leave the mutated strains to multiply and are resistant to drugs).
Consider the virus in China now, the EV71 strain of mad-cow or whatever it is. 3 days ago, 22 were dead (kids) and 1000 were affected. Now it’s over 10,000 and the Olympics is in less that 100 days away. Isn’t that a perfect scenario for a world wide pandemic?

Answer: What is wrong is that this is a blatant genocidal policy. Do you want someone else to decide whether you live or die? Resource allocation can best be decided by the people on-site and at the time because it is individualized to different circumstances.
In addition, policies are applied blindly by bureaucrats. Ever been to Federal or State agency for a permit or license? There may be plenty of resources in some place, but because a “crisis” has been declared and a policy is in place, people will die because it is “the rule.”

This is called triage. Its an obvious logical course of action. You have 3 classes of people in a “trigger event”: Those who will live without help, those who will die even with help, and those who will live only if they are helped. Obviously you would be wasting time and resources helping those who would live anyway or those who would die anyway. Logic says you help those who will most benefit from the help.

Sorry this is off topic but I heard Alexs broadcast May 5th 2008 and I believe he spoke of Mind Kontrol etc. What I noticed is there were some areas in the broadcast where it stuttered 3-4times i believe (kinda like the old character Max Headroom from the 80s).
The reason I bring this up is someone that was part of military programming called in…think he called himself an Eagle, and spoke of codec or programming the mind repeating things 3 times on tv radio etc or even the flicker rate of tv.
I know it might be some kind of feed technical difficulty from the routing of alexs broadcast over the internet but this is where it gets tricky. What if the stutter on the broadcast is being done intentionally from those that monitor the broadcast. I know what ifs arent substantial enough to see the reality of this stuff.
Ill give ya another subtle program that took place on the O Reilly show last night where this woman was some kind of expert in body language and she was critiquing body language between O Reilly and Hillary Clinton. This lady mentioned something about O Reillys tongue coming out several times. O Reilly responded…”Like a reptilian” and smirked.
Interesting thing about this Mind Kontrol stuff is once you learn it and how they do it, you realize it is everywhere in just about every broadcast.

Vet in wheelchair puts mugger in hospital

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – In one corner an aggressive panhandler. In the other a disabled, wheelchair-bound Vietnam veteran who turned out not to be the underdog.
When the two met up five days ago in northeast Albuquerque the attacker became the attacked.
Gary Gould said the attempted mugging had him fighting for his life reminding him of what it was like fighting for his life in Vietnam.
“I can’t walk; I’m paralyzed,” he told KRQE News 13 today. “I got blown up in Vietnam.
“I’ve been in a chair for 38 years.”
Gould, 58, is safe at home now miles away from the Billiard Palace where he took a break from playing pool last Thursday. He said he went out back to smoke a cigarette when a man approached him asking for money.
“He put his hand out like this,” Gould said. “I said, ‘I don’t have any money. Get out of my face, man.’”
Melvin Romero should have listened he didn’t. Instead he then demanded money and repeatedly stabbed Gould with a pair of scissors, according to a criminal complaint.
Gould has some marks and bruises now, but Romero’s the one who ended up hurt the most.
“When he stabbed me, I grabbed him, and I wrestled him to the ground,” Gould said. “Every time he kept trying to get back up, I had to knock him back down.
“They transported him, and I heard he lost a pint of blood.”
Romero wasn’t booked into jail until Monday four days after the attack because that’s how long it took him to recover in the hospital.
Gould said he exercises a lot, something Romero probably didn’t expect.
“I’m just hoping god gets a hold of him,” Gould said. “It’s his only hope.
“What does it take for these people to realize I’m in this chair for a reason, but it doesn’t mean I’m disabled.”
While the suspect spent several days in the hospital Gould went home from the hospital the same day of the attack.
“I had to restrict myself from taking that man’s life,” Gould said.
Romero is charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm. He’s a transient with a lengthy criminal history, according to police.
He remains in jail under a $25,000 bond.

Socialism and State Licensing of Doctors serves to limit the supply of people who can perform
medical care. When the supply is limited prices rise for those services. This helps the group
who have been licensed economically and hurts the public at large economically. It might help
in terms of quality of care, but the requirements to be a Dentist, Doctor, etc. of first spending
4 to 6 years as an undergraduate and then an additional 4 years in medical school is very
inefficient. Also, people who could perform these tasks are also excluded due to receiving B+ grades instead of straight A’s, and thus not being admitted to medical school. Many of the things
required to be learned are useless and a waste of time, from the practical standpoint of being
a medical practioner. Many people could be taught simply by being an apprentice of a doctor. They could help on many procedures, they do not have to know how to do everything.
With the choice now coming down of who will and who won’t receive treatment, due
to a doctor shortage. I would say make a list of all the patients’ medical problems, and have
a crash apprentice course for all who want to help [Liability laws have to be rewritten]. Teach them
only what they need to know to help out.
This idea needs further examining, for it will reduce health care costs if implemented, and
would short circuit Communist/Marxist Hillary Clinton’s Government Health Care Program.

I see no conspiracy here honestly. This is already standard practice for any field hospital (mash) unit or any local area civilian hospital. There are only so many doctors, nurses, supplies, and beds to go around. In the event of a disaster, one must evaluate patients on who will benefit the most from treatment.
If you have an 85 yr old burn victim with heart disease and a 12 yr old burn victim…who is likely to survive with treatment ? No-brainer here folks, you dont waste precious time and supplies on the elderly patient thats likely to die anyway. That isnt being heartless or cruel, its just reality.

Make no mistake, this cold, clinical thinking by which evil actions are rationalized applies to much more than this. No doubt the prospect of rounding up American citizens and locking them in detention camps is also unpleasant but necessary. In one example you’re faced with an old man who already has cancer and a 23 year old man who is in good condition — yet both are sick with the new disease. Do you…
a) divvy up medicine, half n half, between the two, so that each has twice as less likely of a chance of surviving as they would if given the normal amount? (In other words, both may die because they are not given the proper amount).
b) give the normal amount to the old man, who dies 2 years later, and is too old to start a new family?
or
c) give the normal amount to the young man, who dies 50 years later, and is at the age of starting a family?

George Bush is building detention camps. Their purpose is “to support the rapid development of new programs,” without specifying just what those “new programs” might be. But, read on to see if programs Bush already has in place are the ones he’s planning on using to put you in one of those camps.

In the spring of 2007, a retired senior official in the U. S. Justice department sat before Congress and told a story so odd and ominous, it could have sprung from the pages of a pulp political thriller. It was about a principled bureaucrat struggling to protect his country from a highly classified program with sinister implications. Rife with high drama, it included a car chase through the streets of Washington, D. C. and a tense meeting at the White House, where the president’s henchmen made the bureaucrat so nervous that he demanded a neutral witness be present.
The bureaucrat was James Comey, John Ashcroft’s second-in-command at the Department of Justice during Bush’s first term. In his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, he described how he had grown increasingly uneasy reviewing the Bush administration’s various domestic surveillance and spying programs. Much of his testimony centered on an operation so clandestine he wasn’t allowed to name it or even describe what it did. Shortly before the certification deadline for the program, Ashcroft fell ill with pancreatitis, making Comey acting attorney general, and Comey opted not to certify the program. When he communicated his decision to the White House, Bush’s men told him, in so many words, to take his concerns and stuff them in an undisclosed location.
Comey refused to knuckle under, and Bush sent Andrew Card and Alberto Gonzales to Ashcroft’s bedside to twist his arm to approve the program. Comey found out about it and rushed to the hospital to head them off. Ashcroft and Comey refused to approve the program. The following day, the program that Comey found so disturbing went forward at the demand of the White House, “without a signature from the Department of Justice attesting as to it’s legality,” he testified.
What is this program? A former military operative has been told that the program utilizes software that makes predictive judgments of targets’ behavior and tracks their circle of associations with “social network analysis.” That description is ambiguous enough to include people who read and write articles for OEN. That’s you and me.
Bush, in one of his addresses to the nation, said the program was part of planning to assess threats to the “continuity of our government.”
Continuity of Government resides in a nebulous legal realm, encompassing national emergency plans that would trigger the takeover of the country by extra-constitutional forces, and effectively suspend the republic. It is a road map for martial law. According to a senior government official, “There exists a database of Americans who often for the slightest and most trivial reason are considered unfriendly, and who in a time of panic, might be incarcerated. To get 8 million, Bush would have to include everyone who reads and writes for OEN and all the other progressive websites that are critical of the Bush administration. Why? Well, because they’re critical of the Bush administration. That’s enough right there to get you on the list.
I am not unfriendly to the Bush administration. I am overtly hostile, adamantly opposed to, completely reject the legitimacy and authority of and advocate the immediate removal of the Bush administration. Unfriendly doesn’t even come close. That guarantees that I’m on the list.
When Continuity of Government plans go into effect, the executive branch is the sole and absolute seat of authority, with Congress and the judiciary relegated to advisory roles. The country becomes within a matter of hours a police state. Under law, during a national emergency, FEMA and it’s parent organization, the Department of Homeland Security, would be empowered to seize private and public property, all forms of transport, and all food supplies.
What all this boils down to is that George Bush, in one of his whimsical determinations, can decide that, because we are opposed to his Iraq war, he can labels us as an enemy of the state, confiscate everything we have and put us in one of his concentration camps. All on his say so, alone.
If it comes to that, I’m not going to let that happen. This is where I draw the line. Should it come to that, the confiscation of my property, arrest and detention because of what I have said here on OEN, it would no longer be my country. It would be George Bush’s country, a country that is far too much his now, a country that I will refuse to live in.
I fully realize that the overwhelming force of the Bush administration is infinitely superior to any puny, pathetic resistance I might offer, and that I will lose. So be it. But, I will not let them have me and my property. My property amounts to very little, its insignificant, but, its mine. I will destroy all of it before I will docilely concede defeat. I’m an old man. I’ve lived more than my alloted time. If I must sacrifice what remains in defiance of George Bush and to uphold my right to human dignity and freedom in my country that I have worked a lifetime for, contributed to it’s continuing existence by serving in it’s armed forces, it would be well worth it. I will resist unlawful attacks on my person by the Bush administration to the bitter end.
Its the only country I have and I’m not going to let George Bush take it away from me and make it his country. I refuse to be the subject of a doofus, a complete buffoon, a clown, a joke of a man.
I know, we’re not supposed to make personal attacks. But, I invoke the principle of law, res ipsa loquitur, the thing speaks for itself.
I don’t know whether George Bush will do what he has planned. Its said that you prepare for what your enemy can do, not what he might do. As most of the country has come to realize, George Bush is our enemy, the enemy of the United States, the most dangerous man this country has ever had to deal with. I do know that he has set in place procedures, plans, programs and mechanisms to complete his overthrow of our government and the takeover of our country, the part that he hasn’t already. So, that’s what I’m prepared for.
To use Bush’s inappropriate phrase in an appropriate context, Bring It On, George, it will cost you more than you get, because you’re not going to get anything. Be advised, George, that if you try to subjugate me, you will not get a subject, you will get nothing.
