Military Whistleblower Claims She Witnessed Flight 93 Shootdown Order

A woman who claims she was stationed at Fort Meade on September 11, 2001, has given an explosive interview about how she personally heard military commanders make the decision to shoot down United Airlines Flight 93 on 9/11.
A person using the pseudonym Elizabeth Nelson told The Project Camelot website that she personally heard officials agree on the order to shoot down Flight 93. The decision was apparently made because the plane was flying in a no-fly zone near to Camp David and heading toward Site R, a military facility in known as the “backup Pentagon”.
Nelson stresses that at no time was there any talk of “hijackers,” and the plane was shot down purely because communication had been lost and standard operating procedure mandated that the plane be intercepted and destroyed.
Because the woman refuses to provide her real name, the authenticity of her story is very much up for debate, but in a 40 minute MP3 recording (click here to listen) of the interview, she relates what she witnessed in as sincere and genuine a way as one could expect. This individual has seemingly little to gain from making up such a story, unless it’s part of a deliberate disinformation campaign.
Nelson says that she was stationed at at Fort Meade under the Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center Hospital and was training as a radiologic technologist having finished basic training three weeks prior. On 9/11, her rank was Private First Class.
Nelson relates how 9/11 started as a routine day before a higher ranked soldier suddenly emerged from another room and exclaimed, “Holy shit! I just saw a plane crash into one of the Twin Towers.”
Nelson and her colleagues then gathered around the TV in the hospital lobby before they saw the second plane hit the tower. Despite the fact that the first plane strike was not broadcast on live television, Nelson was adamant that the soldier was referring to the first plane when he first spoke. Nelson says that when she first saw the live TV pictures, only one tower was on fire, so the soldier could not have been referring to a replay of the second hit. In the interview, Nelson speculates that the first hit could have been broadcast on an internal military channel. President Bush once famously claimed that he had seen the first plane hit and thought that it was a case of pilot error, despite there being no live TV footage of the first plane strike.
While the majority of the personnel on the base scrambled to protect the facility as part of standard operating procedure, Nelson and a colleague were offered up by their First Sergeant to act as assistants to the Commander of the Base.
“All the other departments of soldiers – the nursing department, the clerical, administrational department – everybody sent their base soldiers there and I didn’t see them anymore. So basically the hospital was not fully active at that point. Everything was on hold,” said Nelson, adding, “And so I remember the room that they took us into. And they told us that we were in charge of, you know, getting coffees, any kind of snacks from the cafeteria – not cafeteria, like from the snack machines or from the place where you can get little snacks – in charge of making photocopies because she and I had the access codes for the rooms, to get in there.”
Nelson and her colleague were sat at the far end of the room and told to face the wall as the meeting of top officials on the base commenced.
“And there was probably six or seven men around this very large table, just like you would see in a big office somewhere. And they had this funny phone. It was like a conference-call phone. And I remember them sitting there and they were talking through this phone. And it seemed to me that they were talking to one or two other places,” said Nelson, adding that she suspected the men were in contact with the West Point military base an hour north of New York City.

The men were trying to ascertain what was going on and quickly expressed concern about Camp David and “Site R” and stating words to the effect of, “Protocol is that this is a no-fly zone. We have to take this plane down. Yes, it’s a passenger plane. It needs to be taken down. It’s a no-fly zone.”
According to Wikipedia, Site R, otherwise known as The Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) or the Underground Pentagon, is a United States government facility on Raven Rock, a mountain in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The facility houses the ANMCC (Alternate National Military Command Center), JSSC (Joint Staff Support Center), OSD/DHS (Office of the Secretary of Defense/Department of Homeland Security), and the 114th Signal Battalion. RRMC also houses the emergency operations centers for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
“I didn’t hear a thing about hijackers,” states Nelson, “We just heard that this plane was flying in a no-fly zone and they couldn’t make contact with the plane, or something like this. There was no communication. Protocol says it has to be taken out. And so I was in this room when the decision was mutually made by the people talking on the phone in the room that I was in, to shoot this plane down.”
“It didn’t feel like anybody knew that there was anything with terrorists,” added Nelson, saying that the officers mentioned the attack on the twin towers but only in the context that they didn’t know where Flight 93 was heading. She got the impression that they were genuinely unaware of the wider 9/11 plot, as would be expected in a compartmentalized structure, and that they were simply following military protocol.
Nelson recalls how she later felt revulsion after she saw news reports about how Flight 93 had supposedly been taken down by brave passengers.
“I remember the distinct feeling inside of me of when I saw on the news that there was this story that there were terrorists on this plane, and that the people overtook the pilot and crashed the plane, – I mean, overtook the terrorists and crashed the plane themselves. And how this was leaking out as these people being heroes,” she states.
“And I remember the extreme moral frustration inside of me, of feeling: But that’s not true! That’s not true at all! We shot this down. And a huge conflict inside of me, of knowing that the world is made to believe this story that’s not true.”
Nelson subsequently felt frustrated when anyone talked about the manufactured myth of the Flight 93 heroes.
“I also remember the confronting feeling when I would be around … because there were civilians that worked in the hospital as well. And then when they would talk about the heroes and these things, the conflict that I had inside of myself was wanting to bust out and say: That’s not true!,” she states.
“They didn’t crash the plane. If they would have crashed it, there would have been a skeleton of the plane. There was no… Nothing. It was blown up.”
Nelson speculated that the errant aircraft could have been originally heading for New York City (Building 7?) before the passengers retook control of the aircraft and started aimlessly flying it elsewhere.
“The only thing I can think is if the third plane was also intended for somewhere in the city [New York City] as well, and that the people actually did take over the hijackers and divert the plane so that the plane ended up flying aimlessly someplace else. And of course the people don’t know how to talk over the radio or any of these things. And that’s maybe something that happened,” she states.
The biggest argument against Nelson’s claims is the hard to accept notion that she and another Private were allowed to sit within earshot of top military commanders making monumental decisions about national security. If the commanders had needed people to make photocopies of documents and bring snacks and drinks as Nelson describes, then why not just have them on call in a different room? One would expect that a military complex have sophisticated communication connections that would have easily facilitated such a scenario.
Then again, if all the other active duty personnel were busy defending the base it could be argued that in the midst of the chaos, Nelson and her colleague were called upon.
Whether or not Nelson’s story is true, the fact that Flight 93 was shot down is one of the most glaring holes in the official 9/11 story.
Footage of the crash site showed barely any debris whatsoever. Compare this to any other plane crash in history and the contrast is astounding.
The debris field of Flight 93 was eight miles wide – investigators found a second debris field three miles away from the main crash site at Indian Lake, and a third debris field in New Baltimore, eight miles away. This is entirely consistent with the plane having been shot down.
Several eyewitnesses described hearing explosions before Flight 93 crashed and others said they heard missiles.
The Flight93Crash website has a compilation of eyewitness reports all attesting to the fact that the plane was shot down.
Donald Rumsfeld himself said that Flight 93 was “shot down” in an apparent slip of the tongue on December 24, 2004.

Alex’s current ratings and exponential expansion would be counter intuitive to your statement. there were plenty of info warriors with information like alex before him they never got the kind of exposure he has gotten; it took alex to shake the tree.
I think the more he goes nuts the more listeners he’ll gain. People are in a stupor and they need someone to grab them by the lapels and smack em in the brain.

the PA flight was shot down, my father worked with a fed coal mine inspector, Where his his house was, IS where they set up the memorial stone, he sold his land to the government, but on 911 and the day after FBI went door to door looking and taking all film cameras and video deviecs , they had road checks looking from them up 2 weeks after, this jet crashed 1000 yard’s behind this guys house, HE did get film out of the state and took it to ohio, it has image’s of two f16’s or F 15’s in it 2 minets after the jet engine landed in this guys back yard, the jet did not just go down it spewed crap up to 5 miles

If I were in the military, and there was an internal military channel with constant view of the Trade Towers being televised at all times, as was suggested in her testimony, I’m not too sure I would be surprised that a plane flew in to them, like the higher ranking officer allegedly exclaimed. Why else would the Trade Towers be constantly surveilled on a television, if not to televise a military operation!!!!

gary, If you are familiar with Richard Hoagland, (also interviewed on Project Camelot), he says, “the lie is different at every level”. I don’t think this is another cover-up, just another lie at another level.
Maybe the woman was “supposed” to hear the shoot down orders??

The passengers were taken off the plane or never even boarded the plane so I don’t know what, if anything, was shoot down over pennsylvania..
It’s clear that there was just a missile hole shot into the ground to make it look like a plane crash….
Hopefully the whole story will come out someday.

Army Col Donn De Grand-Pre in his book Barbarians inside the Gate mentioned the Happy Hooligans shot down Flt 93 and he knew the man who did this. Alex interviewed him and he brought this up as well. This latest interview on Project Camelot seems to go along with the Col’s book and interview.

The plane went off track for a reason. Most likely passengers taking control. I think that the cockpit was locked, and a bunch of passengers busted through the door only to find no one piloting the aircraft… they simply took it off autopilot then got show down. Just one scenario of many.

It is not entirely improbably that they (the two junior enlisted personnel) were in the room. People have a lot of misconceptions about how the military works in a lot of situations. Yes, they have all of these amazing systems and even their own private internet, but in many cases they do just what they’ve always done, regardless of what makes more sense. Anyone who has been in the military knows that there’s the right way, the wrong way and the Army way. Many times operations could be simplified by someone picking up a radio or cell phone, but instead they ’stick to the plan’, which in many cases are old and out of date.

You are so correct Morgan. I was in the Navy and we worked like that all the time. When something look logical in operation and they should do this or that, many times they did things either by the book and/or by what the one in charge wanted. Regardless if it was right or wrong, or if the commander was right or wrong. It is possible for enlisted to have been in that room during the operation, especially if the people thought of them as non-people (little). In there mind if you did go and blab or try to out the operation, you wouldn’t have evidence and who would believe a private or seargant over a room full of generals and admirals. Especially since they have painted anyone that questions the official story as “conspiratory”.
Also Rumsfield did make a mistake that led to a mistake. If you pay attention to that clip, he was making references to what the terrorists did to different things. That wreckage being spread over miles is indicative of a midair occurrence of some sort, a missile, collision whatever but it came apart in the sky. That is why you don’t see the tail section or the wings around the hole.

This wouldn’t bother me so much if it were true,so they shot down the aircraft according to protocol and the feds are witholding the info so people aren’t revolted by it,big deal.
What really disturbs me is that our government shut down the investigations into who made all of the massive put options on the airlines involved (meaning they had foreknowledge to the event and that the stock would plummet).
The reluctance to investigate this issue confirms to me that it was Israeli’s who made those bets and that they knew of 911 before it took place,if it were any other group we’d be all over them like flies on stink.

I was living out of the US during 9/11, and the news reports we heard as we watched that tragic day unfold, said the plane was shot down… until the next day when the story changed to say that the passengers heroically took it down.
Quite frankly, given the events preceding it, it seems likely and correct, that if the pilot did not answer, as all plane pilots were directed to do, it was sadly the right thing to do under that circumstance.
I don’t really understand why the story was changed. It would have been stupid to let that plane be the only one flying when the order was given for it to go down immediately.

A buddy I was stationed with in the Military was part of the FAA investigation team for Flight 93 and he had told me that his suprervisor told him that Dick Cheney ordered FLight 93 shot down. He was told to not say anything to anyone about it. Fortunately he did (told his closest friends and family) 2 years later he died of a brain tumor (I don’t think this was an accident!!!! – I just can’t prove it!)

The crash site of Flight 93 did not look very real. Do your own research to see what kind of debris should have been there. The lie is different at every level says Richard Hoagland. The witness could have been present and believes what she has seen but it could have been an acting job. Rumors admitting that it was shut down are something that I too remember hearing. This was flying around back in 2001 after it happened so I am not surprised that this would surface now as it appears to have been planted from the beginning. Listen to the interview with Richard Hoagland on ProjectCamelot as he explained the Apollo 11 mission and how someone walking with the NASA official was putting pamphlets on the chairs saying that the mission was a hoax. This story has the same signature. I am fond of Bill and Kerry but I spent lots of hours looking into Flight 93 and I do not see proper amount of debris left behind in the video and pictures. There is a bit more to this story that meets the eyes. By having someone to say what ProjectCamelot is saying would debunk the real facts of the Flight 93. I am not buying it.

Well I like a good conspiracy yarn, this one has lots of problems.
1. Like others have said I doubt these conversations would go on in front of privates, let alone privates from another area.
2. Some passengers were in contact by phone so if they took the plane back over they could have made that known.
3. There was an F-16 on its way to intercept Flt. 93 but it was down by the time it arrived (all ready part of the official report). If they shot it down the vast majority would have accepted it so what reason is there to make up a story?
4. The time lapse between the event and when she tells this story.

and thanks again for spreading the truth about Steven Jones. I forgot about that incident but it’s a sober reminder of the NWO machine. I always reference him when it comes to the physics of 9/11. People who don’t believe in it are either deluding themselves or they are fearing for their own job. I took Physics and understand the concepts so it’s a no brainer.

Not to be a bummer here but we need to keep some facts straight. For what it’s worth – I still believe that 9/11 is an unsolved crime. But if it’s the truth you folks are after, then you need to consider all of the evidence, even the stuff that doesn’t fit comfortably with your own theories.
Case in point – the debris field being miles away from the crash site in Indian Lake. This has long since been disproved so why does Infowars keep stating it as fact (and provide fuel for those who still believe the official story)?
Indian Lake is only about a mile from the point of impact of Flight 93. (Not the 6 – 8 that has been mentioned elsewhere or even the 3 that is mysteriously – and wrongly – included in the above article). An innocent mistake was made early on when amateur researchers Googled the distance from the crash site and Indian Lake. By road it is roughly 7 miles. But in distance, it’s only about a mile.
No major debris was ever recovered from Indian Lake. None. The wind was also blowing in that direction on Sept. 11.
There is no doubt in my mind that this part of the story needs to be laid to rest and eliminated from all further attempts to explain what happened to Flight 93.
Before you the looniest of you write back to tell me I’m a government agent (that’s what you call anyone that doesn’t fall in line like sheep behind every single conspiracy theory, right?), keep in mind that I do NOT buy the official story about Flight 93 or the other events of that day.
I just want the truth and justice for those killed on that day.
Question all sides of the investigation… even your own…

i wont call you a sheep, but disinfo isnt needed either buddy, and your post is full of that.. we need to unify the truth movement, not divide us along stupid lines based on peoples opinions.. if we go strictly by the facts we know that at atleast 2 sites there was absolutely no wreckage, flight recorder, or bodies.. we know that 3 building came down that day with only 2 being hit by anything which says that demolition charges had to have been set in at the very least one building.. we have hundreds of eye witness reports claiming they heard explosions and bombs going off inside all 3 building prior to them collapsing.. we heard larry silverstein slip up with his “PULL IT” statement as with rummy and his “shoot down/missile” comment.. we know that 911 commission was a controlled/sabotaged endeavor that didnt even place blame on anyone for the event, even for the incompetence of our glorious homeland security systems we had set up under NORAD.. we know that those building fell at freefall speed into their own footprint which is physically impossible.. we know that the govt confiscated all videos of the pentagon and the trade centers supposedly as evidence yet theyve never released any of those videos, why? if this doesnt scream inside job then youre f---ing delusional.. who gives two s---s about whether it was 3 miles or 5 miles or 15 miles!? the fact is THERE WAS NO f---ING WRECKAGE AT THE CRASH SITE!!!

Firstly, I love Infowars and the Alex Jones show, it has opened my eyes to allot of things, however, I totally agree with Long Live. First of all, she discredited herself by mentioning the “saw his spirit rise out of his body” thing while in the middle of a groundbreaking interview.
But more importantly ANYONE who has ever been in the military understands “need to know basis”, and she definitely had NO REASON WHATSOEVER to be in that room. Particularly while any kind of decisions with that kind of gravity were being made. Anything that is even remotely classified would not involve an E-2 or E-3. End of story.

Don’t most soldiers call their duty station / installation a “post” and not a “base? Wouldn’t she know the names of the commander of the hospital and of the “base”? Those would be part of her chain of command. I know when I was in USAF training, I had to memorize my chain of command all the way up to the President. She doesn’t seem very credible to me…

Well, if this is true, does it prove that 9-11 was NOT orchestrated by the government, at least as directly as some theories posit? Certainly, sometimes the government must do things which are distasteful behind the scenes. Given the sequence of events on 9-11, was there any other option than to shoot down this plane? The people were likely going to die anyway, as far as anyone on the ground could determine. Not shooting it down would have guaranteed even more deaths. A terrible calculus.

Said it before and i,ll say it again, i saw the news on 9 11 here in Britain and think i remember it being itv news, reported that the plane had been shot down.The next day the whole story had been changed.
Could it have been that it had been shot down at a diffrent location and then another one had been staged with no plane just a hole in the ground? Considering the other report on here recently.

I will say two things in response to this story:
1. Project Camelot is not the most reputable of sites. You say she has nothing to gain.. Well, what about some publicity.. some excitement. I dunno.
2. This is a question: Was flight 93 supposed to be heading for Building 7 or the Pentagon? That would certainly explain how 7 fell into itself after nothing hit it… or… how the Pentagon footage has not been released for “national security” reasons.

Anyone who doesn’t admit that 911 was an Inside Job, after viewing the evidence, is NOT to be trusted. This was one of the problems I had with Ron Paul. You don’t have to believe this woman’s testimony. The evidence says it wasn’t a simple plane crash in Pennsylvania. The evidence says the plane was blown up. And all the other evidence, esp. that expanded upon by Professor Steven Jones and other scientists, tells us 911 was Inside Job.

This story is BS anybody who is in the military such as I am knows that this woman obviously doesnt know military command structure and protocol. First off there is no “inside military channel” I have been to bases from Oklahoma to Virginia and I have visted hospitals in those states and I am here to tell you the only “channels ” that the military hospitals are allowed to show you are news channels such as CNN or Fox. Ive seen Fox on every TV on every military installation Ive been on. Unless you have control of the Tv mainly its either Fox or CNN. Also, I am a PFC in the Virginia National Guard 116th brigade and I know for a fact that I am never going to be around anyone who had the authority to order an airliner shot down. Not one single person has the authority to order a shoot down it has to go up the chain of command to the SECDEF and then the White House. Since Cheney was in charge of NORAD on 9/11 he had ultimate authority to order a shootdown. But that takes time and Norman Mineta said to the 9/11 Commission they didnt know about Flight 93 until it crashed. I think this woman is lying and is either trying to gain monetarily or is a govt disinfo agent. Cause none of what she says makes a lick of sense and is impossible when it come to military matters. Stuff like this is what fudges the lines between real patriots who want to get the truth out and people who dont know what they are talking about and the publics sees these people and go “yeah those 9/11 truthers they dont know what they are talking about theyre all liars.” But hey..thats what the govt is trying to do get the public against us. right?
