I certainly agree with the 2nd Amendment, but where does it say in the bible that guns are a god-given right? Jesus told his disciples to bring swords with them on one occasion, on another occasion he told them not bring swords. He also said he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. Where do you get this stuff?
Re: this country being a Christian nation, as I’m sure all good patriots know, the 1rst amendment advocates separation of church and state; also, the words “god” and “Christian” are not mentioned in the constitution. Please explain.

The Declaration of Indepence was a declaration of our freedom from British Tyranny, not law. As for the term “Creator,” many of the founding fathers were masons and deists and viewed god as a creator who did not intervene in the doings of humankind. Read the Treaty of Tripoli in which it is stated that the U.S. is not a Christian country.

It’s also perfectly clear in the writings of our founders that their intended purpose for Americans to own firearms is to eliminate tyranny, primarily from within. “The tree of life must be watered, from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” There’s no debate. I agree that we should be able to defend ourselves in the best way we can. That is simply common sense. I have plenty of quotes from the founding fathers that indicate they were not Christians. Anyway, to me that is irrelevant. They were progressive thinkers and created the best form of government that imperfect humans could’ve created. I judge them by their actions and results, not by their religious affiliations or lack thereof.

Well I am a Christian and I would die for YOUR right to choose not to be one. I don’t care what anyone thinks or says the founding of this country; THE BIBLE HAD AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF INFLUENCE ON OUR FOUNDING FATHERS. The country was set up the way it was to promote the few good qualities that man has and to supress the evil. We have enjoyed those blessings now for over 200 years. America has seen her day and her fall will be great. Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. You can point to all the things that are on this sight that NEED to be fixed and say that that is the problem with this country, but the bottom line is that we have turned from the God of the Bible and he has therefore turned from us. George Washington said, “it is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible” Well we have found that to be true for we are where we are because we have tried to govern without either. The end IS soon, I know you may have read the Bible but have you considered a Bible believing church? I am fully aware you have the right to live as you please, but please consider the fact that there are consequeces for that and all of us have sinned and come shortof the glory of God. Only Jesus saves.

Wrong they don’t have to leave the country by that defintion. But our founding fathers had seen what forced RELIGION did to people and knew it wasn’t good. They made the foundation of this place freedom with the notion that the Bible; if followed would keep people living right. It did, but we turned from that long ago. You are right about what Christ said about the two swords but you have to realize what he meant when he said this. He told his disciples to go sell their bags and buy swords so that they could defend themselves while he was on trial if a mob what have formed. Also the Bible states that if a man doesn’t take care of his family he is considered less than an infedel. That is why we have the God given right to defend ourselves and our families.

I have had friends who were beaten by gangs of youths for no reason (and some incidents involved white gangs). When I was younger I was held up at gunpoint in my place of employment. I disagree with bringing one’s personal religious beliefs into the mix, because that’s when common sense goes out the window and rigid dogma poisons reason.

Well, after reading a zillion postings over the last several months since I discoverd infowars, it is apparent that not a few people here would gladly off anyone who is not them – e.g., atheist, muslim, jew,etc. There is, in fact, a good amount of hate on this forum and it’s quite disheartening.
As for your beliefs and mine, obviously the twain shall never meet and that’s fine. I could go on for a long time about why I don’t believe in the bible but what would it matter? Muslims think they’re right, Hindus think they’re right, I happen to think that all religions are wrong but that’s my belief. Calling me ignorant is kinda uncool though, albeit quite human.
Anyways, I sure would like to get an AK47 just in case the roaming hordes or storm troopers come to my house, but I’m broke at the moment. I don’t think it’s legal in NY is it?

I tried posting several dozen quotes by the founding fathers (mostly private correspondences – not public speeches to the religious sheeple) showing that the founding fathers were not Christians but it was censored. The King James Version of the Bible is the seventh major translation of the Bible and therefore perfect(Ps. 12:6-7). #4 Buck refers to the size of the shot(BB’s) in the shell. Bigger = more damage. Buckshot is very big. A small shot would be something for for hunting small birds.
Don’t get a 20 gauge. 12 gauge is more powerful and really no more expensive–much better for self defense.
Also, it is good to have something besides a shotgun. Unless you are really into close quarters combat you will need something that can hit targets from long distance (i.e. AK47, SKS, AR15, SU16 and many others). It really depends how much u want to spend

20 gage is awesome. It is possible to purchase hollowpoint slugs in 20 gage. They are not accurate at any distance, but within fifty feet they will put your Obama Youth member in a FEMA coffin. #6 field shot is considered lightweight yet I was able to defend my home against a bear attack with it. Blew a hole clean through the bear’s neck.

A used 308 in good condition will always be your most economical investment for long-shot defense. Just be sure to get yourself some armor-piercing rounds (for the obvious reasons) as well as lower grain (130) for the deadliest close range shots, and higher grain (180) for your most accurate long range shots.
When the s--- gets a little deeper you’ll need a scatter gun. Look it up.

the assault weapons ban is over, so guns that are classified as assault weapons can be gotten, under federal law. each state has it’s own laws , and some have assault weapons laws [heavily, in cases like NJ where even a shotgun is a assault weapon if it has a 'menacing' look to it].
assault weapon does not equal fully automatic.
automatic are not banned, federally, either — but, there is a much more extensive process and it costs signifigantly more to obtain the rights and the gun itself.
the AK-47 this guy is selling are semi-auto [regular, like for hunting] Rifles. Other than the name, which is menacing as it soudns like, but is not, the same as the one used in wars. Those are fully auto. Ak47 is popular for hunting. That is because its normal bullet its chambered for, the 7.62, is pretty solid amount of power at distance.
What most ppl are not aware , ak-47, at close to moderately close range [20 yds to 60 yds] is not as powerful as say a mossberg 12ga shotgun with the appropriate ammo in each weapon. but the media is much more afraid of vilanizing shotgun because that word is so enchanted with the thoughts in the listener’s mind of OLD type weapon, hunting, and basicness. In iraq, the soldiers get shotguns AND full auto rifles [call it assault, assault means nothing -- its a subjective word, and adjective that one person can agree to use and another not accept] and pistols.
you have many of the misconceptions that people i meet have who watch mainstream media. the MSM has confused the issue greatly. in this video, she made up an entirely new term “semi-assault weapon”. that was hilarious. but actually, maybe she just got lucky, you see, since usually, most ppl would concede that full automatic rifle of any brand or menacing look is an assault rifle meaning really great at attacking military convoy or something. so, if assault=automatic, then she correctly described the ak47s that you can get in Missouri for 500 bucks since those are semiauto little rifles for hunting [and obviously home defense, too], since semi-auto and semi-assault would be the same thing. but the word semi-assault — she invented that combo. how funny. she’s a real gun person, in her heart — i think someone needs to just water and feed that seed of truth in her heart — maybe she can go on a date with that dealership guy — i think that’s what she really wants to do — anyone else think so?

An Legal Ak is a semi-automatic rifle meaning that you have to pull the trigger each time to fire a round. Your under the illusion from your “truthful” media that assault rifles are fully automatic which would be illegal unless you have a special license to own one.

Yeah, sometimes people on here don’t really know what they’re talking about. Let me continue to assist you my friend. Joe, most guns federally are legal – automatic or semi-automatic. Don’t listen to people on here who are very confused. And the reason for the confusion is that the gun laws are complicated and vary from state, to state, town to town, and then there’s the Federal ones!
you just have to jump through many more hoops and have more money to buy a gattling gun versus a simple semi-auto rifle [whether it be called 'ak47' or 'winchester']. though, i do not know the micro detail of whether the feds allow the purchase of gattling guns in particular — there are a few auto guns they simply don’t allow without some massive explaining on the parties’ part and so forth.
another interseting thing that i would throw your way, joe, since you’re an honest person who is inquiring …. did you know you could legally make guns yourself? most people don’t realize this ….. kinda simplifies things if you so happen to have tools and time! lol

My AK works well for hunting. Being an eighty year old single woman on a limited income I must shoot and butcher pigs for meat. The AK is the best military rifle I ever got my hands on. It is much better than my AR-15 for most jobs. I broke my AR-15 stock on a burglar some years back. The AK will hold up to most bludgeoning tasks.
Hunting rifles are nice. I have a rack of them. I prefer my AK because it has a nice bark and doesn’t knock me on my bottom when I pull the trigger. My 30-06 makes me have to visit the chiropractor, so I’m leaving it to my grand-daughter when she turns twelve next month.

I tried to buy a gun for my 14 year old son, and was told about a federal law that prohibits me from buying a gun for anyone other than myself.

Actually a AK is on the lower end of power for hunting rifles. Your Gramps 30-30 hits harder and his 30.06 is actually what would be considered a game sized rifle up to say elk. Bears, african game take something harder hitting 300 mag, 375 and larger. In fact many long range target and big game hunters will use a 50 BMG.

I don’t get this at all. The guy is selling trucks. He is simply offering a discount. The way he is doing that is with a voucher that can be used to purchase a gun. I am sure that if you went into the dealership and said that you were interested in buying a truck but that you already had enough guns, they would offer the same amount in discount. If you changed your mind and used the money that you saved on the purchase of the truck to then go buy a gun, it is the same damn thing. He also says that they are not just handing out guns, that you have to go get the gun at a gun store through the proper channels and background checks, etc. There is simply NO CONTROVERSY here AT ALL. The woman is an idiot that hasn’t thought this through, nor does she seem to know much about guns other than what she has heard through the corporate media outlets. Guns bad! Pickup trucks bad! I like how he pointed out that felons don’t get weapons through the background check system. Also tying it to home defense was really believable.
You can sense that it almost angered him how the conversation was limited to topics that are comfortable for the so called public, as if he wanted to say so much more but was tied by the circumstances of the interview and the type of the audience.
He controlled himself pretty well when the anchor was trying to use trivial arguments and clichés. Although it was obvious what he was thinking by looking how he rolled his eyes every time the anchor was trying to interject.
Very focused and mentally stable individual. In my opinion, he won the argument without much resistance. I like him.

Have never had a jam with an AK. Did have a broken shell with a 74. When the SHTF, I can not think of a finer accesory for your protection. (with several mags) Also, PLEASE purchase a recoil buffer for it. Costs about $3, it will dampen the recoil and hopefully make it last longer. Also, clean it WELL. AK ammo is very dirty.

It amazes me that anyone would use “God” and “guns” a mutually acceptable participants within a sentence. I don’t know which version of the King James Bible you read but I am reasonably confident that Jesus tells you to turn the other cheek (Matthew 5: 38-42, Luke 6: 27-31) as well as those that live by the sword die by the sword (Matthew 26: 52).

I find it amazing how scared you Americans are of everything around you. This was clear in my last visit to your country. You panic at the slightest movement.
And look at the use of the English language you showcase on this blog. Wow! I rarely get to read such a lot of poorly written BS as this. You guys need to go back to school and learn some basics. Maybe then you would realise how pathetic you are.

I have several degrees, and have owned guns legally for many years in America.
I see nothing wrong with owning guns, and having them for my protection in my home, or on my property.
I am not scared. Nor do I panic at the slightest movement.
But, I have been robbed, and raped years ago. And I will do everything in my power to see that neither happens again.
If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have them.
So, IF our country decides to TRY to take mine away I might die trying to keep them.
But, I really do not see that happening.
There are too many people to fight for our legal rights to own them.
I think it is assinine for people to think just because you own a gun you are ignorant, or unknowledge in the laws or the world.
To me that shows your own intellegence level.

It appears to me that the interviewer tried to corner this guy into making a fool of himself and she failed miserably. I think after the “What would God do?” statement she quickly cam to the realization that she better cut her interview short since she was the one looking foolish.

This is a perfect reason why they should not be allowed to vote!!!!!! She referred to the AK47 as an assault weapon, well it it is an assault weapon then every gun made is an assault weapon…
