Mockingbird Publishers Turned Down Best Seller Jesse Ventura’s Book

Is it possible large corporate publishers would turn down a best selling author and deny themselves big time profit? You bet they would, especially if the author calls for a non-violent revolution and ditching the One Party System, also known as the Republicans and Democrats.
On the Alex Jones Show today, former professional wrestler, Navy UDT veteran, actor, and former radio and television talk show host Jesse Ventura revealed this is precisely what happened when he shopped his latest book, “Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me,” written with co-author Dick Russell. He was turned down by large corporate publishers and eventually went with a small publisher, Skyhorse Publishing. It helped that Skyhorse’s consulting editor Herman Graf has a relationship with Ventura’s partner, Russell. Otherwise this important book may have never realized the light of day.
In addition to calling for non-violent revolution and ditching the Demopublicans in the book, Jesse recalls a post-inaugural meeting with CIA agents. As Ventura told Alex Jones, he was less than cooperative with the CIA because the agents, 23 in all gathered at the Minnesota capitol, would not reveal their names, not even their code names. As Tim Pugmire wrote on the Minnesota Public Radio website last January, “CIA Spokesman George Little confirmed the event … in a written statement, but he offered few details.” Little said that “on occasion CIA officers meet with senior state government officials, as they did in this case, to discuss issues of mutual interest.”
Moreover, the CIA wanted to know “how had the independent wrestler candidate” managed to win the election. In other words, the CIA was concerned about the fact an outsider had managed to circumvent the entrenched political establishment and capture the governorship. “In our country, there is a certain ruling class that won’t give up the power,” Ventura writes. “I know I had to be destroyed because of what I represented and how I got elected. There was a ripple of fright that what happened in Minnesota could be a trend.”
Jesse writes that he soon discovered “there is a CIA operative inside every state government…. In Minnesota, this person was at a deputy commissioner level, fairly high up.” On Alex’s show, Jesse twice made mention of the fact the CIA’s charter explicitly prohibits domestic operations.
Shortly after the attacks of September 11, 2001, we were told the “Central Intelligence Agency is poised to get involved in domestic surveillance and investigations in ways that are unprecedented in its history,” according to the Christian Science Monitor. “But as the nation girds itself against global terrorism carried out on American soil, the barriers between covert, stealthy intelligence and by-the-book domestic law enforcement investigations are beginning to melt.”

In fact, the CIA has carried out domestic operations since its inception, most notably Operation CHAOS, a massive illegal domestic covert operation. “The CIA considered this a normal extension of its authorized infiltration of dissident groups abroad even though the activity was taking place within the U.S.,” writes Verne Lyon. “This activity led the CIA to establish proprietary companies, fronts, and covers for its domestic operations. So widespread did they become that President Johnson allowed the then CIA Director, John McCone, to create in 1964 a new super-secret branch called the Domestic Operations Division (DOD), the very title of which mocked the explicit intent of Congress to prohibit CIA operations inside the U.S.”
As the CIA’s favorite newspaper, the Washington Post, reported in 2005, the CIA had planned “to relocate the headquarters of its [supposedly illegal] domestic division, which is responsible for operations and recruitment in the United States, from the CIA’s Langley headquarters to Denver, a move designed to promote innovation.” In short, the CIA and the corporate media are admitting the CIA’s purported charter is in fact a dead letter.
It makes perfect sense Jesse Ventura would have a difficult time getting his book published after a less than welcoming meeting with the CIA and his subsequent call for a non-violent revolution. It is now common knowledge that back in the late 1940s the CIA established Operation Mockingbird “with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting reporters on the CIA payroll, which has proven to be a stunning ongoing success,” as Mary Louise writes for Prison Planet. In addition to controlling newspapers, the CIA exercises control over book publishing.
“The CIA currently maintains a network of several hundred foreign individuals around the world who provide intelligence for the CIA and at times attempt to influence opinion through the use of covert propaganda. These individuals provide the CIA with direct access to a large number of newspapers and periodicals, scores of press services and news agencies, radio and television stations, commercial book publishers, and other foreign media outlets,” according to the Church Committee and the Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities back in 1976.
So it does not come as a revelation that Jesse Ventura had numerous publishing venues denied, even though he is a best-selling author and should be a hotly sought after commodity. For now, there are a large number of smaller publishing companies willing to publish books revealing what the CIA and the ruling elite do not want the benighted masses to know. However, if the elite have their way smaller publishers will either eventually be closed down or brought into the fold. In the meantime, it is the job of high profile people such as Jesse Ventura to fearlessly tell the truth and small, fiercely independent publishers to print and distribute their books.

Great stuff, i really need to read this book.
If any of you are interested another great book the CIA tried to supress (Cord Meyer Jnr. himself actually) is ‘Politics of Heroin – CIA Complicity in The Global Drugs Trade’ by Alfred McCoy. Its a great book, the latest edition details the start of the global drug trade, which is mainstream history – the British, Dutch & Portuguese shipped heroin between their asian colonies usually using one as producer and the other as addicts making a pretty penny, then the French taking over in Indochina to use the bi-partisan tribes like the Hmong to fight the Viet Minh etc… anyway, the Cia took over after the French left.
anyway, this sounds like a great book but i also highly recommend ‘Politics of Heroin – CIA Complicity in The Global Drugs Trade’ by Alfred McCooy – great history document that will do wodners for your understanding of how the world ACTUALLY works.

Its good to see a Man in the Professional field, looking at things in a real Patriotic sence even more. He is a open minded, and very educated man. Its a shame that publishers are tending to lean to the NWO. Well, why not/ Our newspapers are so political and if you search you will find the party they are associated with, will support that party’s Issues in and around governemnt. i,m sure if mre people knew the publisher who has marketed Mr Ventura’s book, will be making the publishers a bit wealthier, and for them to support Mr. Ventura, they will be deserving of every nickle. Its truth they will be publishing,let alone his views and his story. Thats an important issue to look at. Keep fighting the Good Fight, Mr. Ventura. Your works will be admired and read by many i am sure of. The man has alot of knowledge to share and least we can do is support his efforts and his time to read his Book. don’t get me wrong i like ventura but why does he live in mexico. yeah he said because of the weather but there are other places in the U.S. that doesn’t have bad weather. how amerikan does that make him, that he has to live in another country. It would seem to me that if it was in the middle of the winter and the revolution started then he wouldn’t make it because it would be to cold for him.

#10 It’s me, Ventura said he lives in the Baja 6 mos & Minnesota 6 mos. He did not ditch the USA. In an couple of years’ earlier Alex Jones video interview, he stated he was going on ‘vacation’ because he felt it would be good for safety of self & family, and you could see he is visably spooked in the vid. He was not so forthright as in today’s interview or as in the one last night with Larry King/CNN. It could be part of his wife’s health requirements now, since she got ill and he quit being a public figure because of that-he said last night to Larry King.
It looks like to me he has come out of the closet, as it were, with this book, and has found his balls again.
Living in Baja, completely solar, no paved roads-off the grid, yes, he was licking his wounds, but now he is back in fighting shape, ready to go public.

Ventura is a superficial grandstander.
You can always tell a weak debater when he cannot form a direct and intelligible argument but rather offers personal experiences and scattered inferences as evidence. Saying that walls might be used to keep Americans in, is especially vapid.
Saying that a particular people are “good” because of anecdotal experiences, and presenting that as an “argument” is especially idiotic and shows lack of intellectual capacity. We should NOT keep people out because one day WE could be kept IN? Are you familiar with the concept of a “nation”? It has borders, it has a population of people who were born there and it has a political unit.

In my opion Jessie Ventura is a new world order minion. He would never stand with Ron Paul. He visiously attacked Pat Bucannan when he ran in the primarys for the presidency the last time. He really didn’t esculate the matters untill Pat Bucannan was beginning to really get some traction.
I belive his minders are haveing him get real close to the truth movement to try to develop some “trust” at higher levels. I think then he might try to get fringe elements to carry out a domestic terror event simular to OKC.

With a commnet like that I’d have to be highly suspicious of Jesse Ventura’s true motives. He was ex-Navy Seal, might be just seeking credibility at this point, not sure what the intentions are.

As Jessie says, American’s attention span is only about 30 minutes. When you go back to flight 103 over Locherbie and all the terrorism before and after, did anyone think the CIA wasn’t anticipating doing something about it ? American citizens don’t care what happens “over-there”, it’s not happening in their living rooms, so they change the channel. Pan Am went out of business over that flight, all the people employed lost everything too. Its nice to know that not all of them are bloodline idiots who sit there and tell you just to trust the president and to keep giving up your freedoms b/c the government knows best (A La Britney spears, david hasselhoff and every pathetic fake ass journalist in network news). Ventura, thank you for having the balls and the moral standards to not be bought out and tow some bullshit line about how terrorists are gonna get us. No commies ever got my parents, the Nazis didn’t get my grandparent’s, and in fact the only thing that did kill any of my family members, was wage slavery. I smell something, and I think its freedom, I can’t wait to taste it. These nwo prats seem more desperate than ever, I bet they go for the gold with some planned nuke “terrorist” attack, I just don’t see it working out in their favor, I think the next crap they pull will blow up in their face (more so than 9/11) and literally expose them for who and what they are, petty thieves, con-men, and tiny insignificant parasites. Without Alex Jones no one would have a clue what ever happened on 911. Most people were immediately duped into the whole terrorist theory and nothing in the mainstream media gave the faintest clue about the evidence that is now piling up.
It took two years before even the most alert had a clue of what really happened, and I never would have understood any of it without Prison Planet. The more you check out the facts that are posted here the more you grow to understand just how sinister and totally malevolent the whole master plan is. And it’s just a matter of time before the damn bursts.
They had it down cold and during all the confusion people trusted the government that sold them out. A lot of people still can’t believe their government would do that them and they never will. But the truth is leaking out a little at a time.
If they ever find a way to silence Alex you might as well get the number tattoed on your forehead because you won’t find anyone that will dare to question the all seeing eye.
Name one place that you could have discovered the facts Alex reveals – I’m not talking about theories or the opinions the of the so called learned. I’m talking about cold hard evidence. The video tapes, the actual pictures and testimonies of what our govenment did or allowed its terrifying.
I have one question for all the neo-cons that cling to the terrorist theory. What did Silverstein mean when he said – “Theres been such a loss of life why don’t we just pull it?” It would have taken months to prepare a building like that for demolition.
So Patriots what did he mean?

Since “faith comes by hearing”, at first many of us did fall for the official story. Thank God cooler heads like Alex Jones and many others prevailed. By now, the puppets in Washington are so discredited- If they said the sky was blue I would begin to doubt it.

for us (in europe) it was dokument “pentagon” which showed us, that the things are differen than liars in mainstreem claimed and claims still
now US goverment wants there to build a military base (why? against Rusia or what) and we are not choise
