Napolitano Reports to CFR on Stasi Snoop Network

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano traveled to New York to deliver a speech to the boss today. She told the Council on Foreign Relations there will be no departure from the Bush administration in regard to homeland security. It will be the same agenda with a few minor changes — for instance, the color-coded threat advisory will be chucked.

“Napolitano sang the praises of counter-terrorism intelligence being shared between federal, state and local agencies through arrangements known as fusion centers,” writes Frank James for NPR. Napolitano said she plans “to make them a top priority for this department to support them, build them, improve them and work with them.”
Translation: the feds will continue the full-steam ahead effort to federalize state and local law enforcement, an effort that began in earnest under Bill Clinton and picked up critical momentum during the reign of George W. Bush.
“Napolitano sounded just like her predecessors Ridge and Michael Chertoff,” James continues. “And she talked about educating the populace about how to be the eyes and ears of counter-terrorism and also how to respond to the aftermath of man-made or natural disasters,” or for that matter government contrived false flag operations.
Napolitano told the internationalist cabal in New York that the American people suffer from “complacency” and this is a “threat in the United States.” In order to combat complacency, the government has to do more to “educate” the public on the threat posed by terrorists and other miscreants. In other words, Napolitano admitted the incessant warnings of impending doom — from dirty bombs in major cities to bad guys taking out nuclear plants — have not worked.
Napolitano said the public has to be recruited, sort of like the public was recruited in East Germany by the Stasi. “For too long we’ve treated the public as a liability to be protected rather than an asset in our nation’s collective security,” she declared. Napolitano said the country’s “counter-terrorism efforts” should include the public, that “you are the ones who know if something is not right in your communities, such as a suspicious package, or unusual activities.”
Of course, “unusual activities” are in the eye of the beholder, especially a beholder that has endured nearly a decade of incessant propaganda about terrorism, most of it entirely fictional and bogus.
“To an intelligence agent, informant, or law enforcement officer,” Bruce Fein, of Bruce Fein & Associates and The Lichfield Group, said earlier this year, “everything unconventional or unorthodox looks like at least a pre-embryonic terrorist danger.” According to Fein, using the standards proposed by the Department of Homeland Security and fusion centers scattered around the country, everyone from the Founding Fathers to abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison to suffragette Susan B. Anthony would have been the subject of SARs, or suspicious activity reports.
Now SARs and intelligence reports are filed on the supporters of Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin, as a fusion center report produced by the Missouri State Police indicated earlier this year. Napolitano’s DHS produced a report of its own on “rightwing extremism” that characterized militia members, Second Amendment advocates, returning veterans, pro-life and anti-illegal immigration activists as terrorists.
In addition to fostering a snoop culture, Janet Napolitano told the CFR her agency wants to “get to a point where we are in a constant state of preparedness, not a constant state of fear.” In order to do this, the government and its enlisted army of snoops, stool pigeons, and rat finks need to “monitor home-grown threats.”

It is said the former head of the Stasi, Markus Wolf, was hired by Homeland Security as a consultant back in 2003. Ditto KGB General Yevgeni Primakov.
The journalist Mike Whitney speculates that the stories about Wolf and Primakov might be “fabrications intended to mislead independent research,” but considering the track record of the Bush administration — murderous invasions claiming the lives of well over a million people, torture, rape rooms, assassination squads, massive and illegal surveillance, etc. — it is entirely possible.
It is a well established fact the United States recruited Nazis after World War Two. In addition to Wernher von Braun, Arthur Rudolph and Hubertus Strughold, the CIA recruited Nazi ideologue Emil Augsburg, an officer at the infamous Wannsee Institute, an SS mass extermination think tank. SS officer Klaus Barbie, “The Butcher of Lyon” was employed by the US Army after WW2 to spy on the French and other Nazi leaders, regarded as “specialists in anti-resistance activities,” were used in counterintelligence operations in Italy.
But even without the expertise of Wolf and Primakov, it should be obvious the United States is well along in the multifaceted process of creating a police state — or rather a political police force answerable to the executive (and those who control the executive) and tasked with maintaining the political power of the state rather than upholding the rule of law or for that matter protecting the nation against real terrorists (such as the economic and social terrorists gathered before Napolitano as she gave her speech).
A key characteristic of a police state is the creation and maintenance of a vast network of spies, informants, and agents provocateurs — again, not to guard against foreign enemies or criminals, but to hunt down, discredit, and render ineffective political dissidents.
Napolitano was in New York to inform her bosses at the Council on Foreign Relations that the secret police agency known as the Department of Homeland Security is on schedule and nothing — except that silly threat level meter — has changed in the supposed transition between the Bush and Obama administrations.
She was also sending a message to would-be snoops around the country — your services are required, especially if your neighbor has a Ron Paul bumper sticker on his car, talks about the Second Amendment, or says the Federal Reserve needs to be audited.
Incidentally, in the case of the Stasi and East Germany, only 7.7%, according to official figures, were coerced into cooperating. Most people cooperated with the state because they were made to feel important or were given material or social incentives.
It will be the same here when our particular brand of Stasi gets moving in earnest.

Is there anyone on this site who doubts the fact that we are all being monitored and traced BECAUSE we are on this site and others like it? Its not hard for the “authorities” to track us through our internet confections and get our names, addresses, home and cell phone numbers. Turning off the GPS locater in a cell phone will only keep John Q. Public from knowing your location. The feds can still locate you to within a few feet. Seems to me that we’re gonna need a few more Amendments to the Constitution.
We can start with term limits for Congress. (No more career politicians)
1. Two terms unless elected by 67% of their constituents.
2. Pay/expenses/staff voted by the people, not themselves.
3. Immediate cut in pay.
4. Immediate termination of retirement benefits. (Go find a job like the rest of us.)
5. No lawyer shall be a member of Congress or occupy the White House.
6. Outlaw lobbyists
7. No private health care for Congress. (If it’s good enough for us, it’s good enough for them.)
8. Outlaw 3rd party restrictions at the State level. (All parties are on the same playing field.)
Screw this two party system and screw the State laws that 3rd party has to jump through

9. Re-write the second Amendment to: “Don’t f*ck with the people’s right to keep and bear any
gun or ammunition they want. That goes for you too States, Cities and everyone else. Nah!”

12. Form a Cabinet Post Position to rescind every unconstitutional law, act and Executive Order
passed in the past 240 years. The committee members are voted on by the people, not

13. Yearly audit of Fort Knox. If gold reserves are missing, immediate invasion of any
country that stole it. We’ll work out repayment of debt later…or not.
14. Immediate controlled demolition of the U.N. building in New York.
15. Provision to recall by vote of the people to remove any member of Congress or the Executive
Branch for any reason. (60% vote)
16. All Globalist groups (CFR,SPP, Tri-lats,Bilderburgers etc.), members and their families shall
be herded to the southern tip of Florida. That parcel of land will be cut from from the rest of
the state with a giant chainsaw and kicked out to sea. Preferably during a major hurricane.
Feel free to add to the list. Then, we can condense it down to 3 or 4 Amendments.

I would think that more often than not, people would know who the neighborhood snitch is. You know, the person that’s always asking too many questions. The person who’s just a little too over the top to be genuinely friendly. The person who’s always trying to gain your confidence, with whom you have nothing in common. I know who the people in my neighborhood are that fit the profile. I don’t think they work for anyone. At least not yet. But see that’s the whole point. I know where they live. I could write more, but anyone with half a brain can see where this is leading. Just make sure you’ve identified the right person.

the government of the united states has an informer system already that is far larger than anything the soviets or east germans had. remember the war on drugs? fully 75 per cent of all americans arrested under the drug laws roll over on their friends and associates. more than 26 million americans have been arrested since 1973 for various violations of the drug control act. do the math. once a person goes on the informant list his of her name remains there. any federal agent, state cop, or local drug agent has access to a database that lists who these people are. these people are heavily relied on and have been instrumental in providing information that has busted many a group. the people in waco were killed on the word of a drug informant. they can be anyone, your college buddy, your boss, the guy down the street. when the call goes out for info on you or any group you are associating with these are the first people law enforcement looks to. most people don’t know how to keep a secret and somebody somewhere will here you if you speak in the open. many times the informant is also used by the police to act as entrapment. women are especially useful for the obvious reasons. people blurt out the most useful information in the throes of intercourse. having had an uncle working for the security services of the united states, he got his start running east germans under the berlin wall, i have had many a conversation on how and why the people of america would lose their freedom. it is not coming people, it is here. my best advice for those planning to resist is this, know the people you are surrounding yourself with. keep your networks small and if branching out to other cities or localities keep the contact point down to one person. find communication system other than cell phone, easily tracked, or computer, same. understand this, when this comes down the feds won’t be playing. they will hit hard and they will be merciless. they will kill your family in front of you are have no aversion to torture. do not think once this starts you will be able to talk your way out.

I couldn’t listen to all of her speech. It just made me sick.
It made me sick to see her speaking at the Council of Foreign Relations and their name plastered
all over the backdrop. Since when were they of any import to the workings of our government? I hadn’t noticed mention of them in the Constitution. It made me sick to see her refer to terrorist as if she truly believed the fairy tale of 911. I wonder if she really does.
No one could reach that level of the government and be that ill informed and unaware. So, assuming she has a brain and is not stupid, then what is her justification for helping turn our free country into a police state looking for the boogieman under every street lamp. I am truly disgusted at the lies masquerading as truth. I keep thinking I’ll wake up and someone will have the courage to shout the truth from the halls of congress or the balcony of the White House. But the lies and cover up continue. It is an orchestrated farce. It makes me think of all the kingdom in the “Emperor Has No Clothes”. I seen a clip this morning with obama telling the masses the economy is not plunging anylonger and the job losses are only half of what they were. I know he is liar because companies are shutting their doors and everbody around us are struggling for survival. To make matters worse our county fair, is not the same. A little old county with mostly farmers has to now be supervised under the watchful eye of black booted police? They were even at the nail driving contest and pie and jelly booth yesterday. This is so strange seeing your neighbors and friends surrounded by what used to be a wonderful family affair.
