National Guard Rents 500-Plus Hotel Rooms For Democratic Convention

The U.S. Army and Colorado National Guard have announced intentions to reserve more than 500 hotel rooms for lodging during the Democratic National Convention, hinting at the number of military personnel that may be in Denver for the high-profile event that is expected to draw an estimated 50,000 protesters.

While the Democratic convention is being held on Aug 25-28, officials with the Colorado National Guard are seeking to reserve 438 rooms for Aug. 22-30 and 78 rooms for Aug. 18-30 according to award announcements published Friday on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site, a page run by the federal government for business contract solicitations.
The documents show that majority of guard personnel staying from Aug. 22-30 are set to lodge at Johnson & Wales University, located on 7150 Montview Blvd in far east Denver, while 32 rooms will be rented out for an unknown Extended Stay America location in Denver.
NOTICE OF INTENT: Due to lack of other known sources the Colorado National Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Johnson & Wales University for 3,510 room nights and 3 meals per day 22-30 August 2008 for the Democratic National Convention. The place of performance will be the Denver Colorado.
The term "room nights" refers to the total number of rooms per-night that are being used during a guest’s stay, and is calculated by multiplying the number of rooms by the number of nights a guest stays at the property.
Those staying from Aug. 18-30 are set for the Drury Hotels according to the documents, a building that is also located in far east Denver at 4400 Peoria St.
NOTICE OF INTENT: Due to lack of other known sources the Colorado National Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Drury Hotels Denver East for 1,020 room nights from 18-30 August 2008 for the Democratic National Convention.
The awards notices show that a total of 4530 room nights are planning to be purchased for the Democratic convention, although the cost is currently unknown.
It was recently reported that at least 900 police officers are expected to come to Denver from Wyoming and 12 other locations around the state to assist with security during the convention, for a cost of $25 million in federal tax dollars.

What?! This acts as though a convention has never been held in the United States before. I do not think that the military has ever been brought in under such occasions before. If I am correct, there is something sinister about this.

This is the end of summer. You have reservist that have to get their 2 weeks active obligation for the year. This is the normal time to do that. Often The Guard and the Reserves puts thier people up in local hotel rooms so they may attend thier drill time. Everybody in the Unit dont come from the same town. I would be very interested in finding what other functions the Guard is having in or near denver. If there isn’t a large drill or training exercise going on with in two hrs drive time, I’d get majorly concerned. If there is a training exercise going I would want to know what the training senario is. Then ask your self is the war game connected to the convention in anyway? History has taught us, you better know what training exercises are going on. Training has a tendency to become real life events.

I will say this again, besides all the signs pointing to a chemical attack in Denver, now we have this going on for little to no reason…..yet one more sign of the coming false flag chemical bomb attack i truly believe we will suffer from in this city

This is sign number 5…..first the hospitals in Denver Drill for a chemical bomb attack in the city(1) then the military runs their drills in the city for seemingly no reason(2) then the OEM in Denver is overheard discussing Decon zones for a chemical attack and drills for evacuating the entire city(3) then as recently as this year half a million plastic airtight coffins (perfect for infected bodies from a chemical attack) are ordered, and held near the CDC(4) and now this…..the nationguard and army booking rooms to be in the city during the DNC a history first i believe……seems no one but a few know how to add 2 and 2….and see the whole picture…..

If not painfully obvious by now, protesting in the streets against the NWO does nothing but give the government ghouls an excuse to sharpen their tactics on a bunch of well-meaning but naive truthers. By attending DNC, you will be playing battle directly into their hands. Follow the lead of those in Denver who plan to be anywhere but there when the false operation plays out.

Hmmmm, now that I think of it, the prospects of some event happening here are all too obvious, and how are they gonna deny it with such good documenting, oh, wait, they do anyway now and get away with it, so…….without us being organized and facilitated to that end by our own constitution, which is worthless now, even us knowing means squat. Gangster Law in effect — no sense in resisting, we have prison camps awaiting us. So, I again say, offer us something real to do in resistance or quit shock jocking and helping us get rounded up for the slaughter!

hmm, I do not know whats going on with this! Meaning I see it as extra personal for this event. Well because you have a black person running for pres. and a white guy running for pres. DO they think this is a big deal or are folks out “there” making this a big deal, really over nothing?! Heck if I know. I just read the newspaper and watch news and read here. Hard to make this whole mess out…That state is a pretty state, but has gotten over crowded. Can’t even find a huntin’ place anymore, place to camp, snow ski, or the like. Cause to many folks live there now. I wish this was the 70’s and 80’s again, good times and things where at a slower pace back then, then now…:( sigh…..

As for the people that will be attending the DNC.. I would advise that you bring gas masks.. Wear extra layered clothing to thwart off rubber bullets and tasers. The bulkier the better. Call out any protesters that are bringing attention, ie. Provocateurs, etc. Make sure you have plenty of Video cameras catching their every move. This is going to get very nasty my friends. Are you serious…I have shown so many people so much footage from terrorstorm to Zeitgeist and the sheeple are to far gone…No one believes or if they do they don’t care or think they are removed from the situation…I’m sorry to say it’s time to pack up and find another place to be a human if there is such a place on this miserable rock…

You obviously don’t know anything about the Guard or Reserves. You should seriously do some research and learn to keep your mouth shut regarding subjects you know nothing about. Also, hotel rooms during normal drill requirements to accomodate soldiers haha yeah right…

I’m with Johnny on this one folks. Cameras will do little or nothing. People can watch films like “Loose Change” and the ones he mentioned and still say…”Yeah but I don’t really think they are true…” Its ridiculous seeing as most of these videos are factual, non biased, informative videos. It makes me sick to my stomach. I’ve traded in all my cameras and literature for cold hard steel and I suggest you all do the same.

MY THEORY: We need the exact event you mentioned and it needs to be just like a Woodstock! I have no doubt whatsoever–given the proper team of organizers and location–that we could easily get a million participants.
It could be good and it would definitely draw attention.

I work for the on campus dining facility at Johnson and Wales University, I got to read over the contract the university proposed for housing and food, 3 meals a day plus boxed lunches, back in May before we knew for sure that we were going to be feeding the national guard and the cost was a little over half a million dollars
