Though the trial the man, dubbed “Osama bin Laden’s driver”, is primarily functioning as a show piece for the Bush administration’s “war on terror”, some interesting information emerged from the Guantanamo Bay naval base yesterday in the form of a direct admission from a US prosecutor that the fourth plane was “shot down”.
The revelation came during assertions from representatives for the prosecution that Salim Hamdan had detailed knowledge of the intended target of the fourth hijacked plane on 9/11.
A Reuters report states:
…prosecutor Timothy Stone told the six-member jury of U.S. military officers who will decide Hamdan’s guilt or innocence that Hamdan had inside knowledge of the 2001 attacks on the United States because he overheard a conversation between bin Laden and his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
“If they hadn’t shot down the fourth plane it would’ve hit the dome,” Stone, a Navy officer, said in his opening remarks.
The tribunal’s chief prosecutor, Col. Lawrence Morris, later explained that Stone was quoting Hamdan in evidence that will be presented at trial. Morris declined to say if the “dome” was a reference to the U.S. Capitol.
The report goes on to state “United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in a field in rural Pennsylvania. U.S. officials have never stated it was shot down although rumors saying that abound to this day.”

Were Stone’s words a “slip of the tongue” in the vain of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s when he also told reporters that flight 93 was shot down?
Flight 93 had an 8 mile wide debris field, a fact that does not tally with official story that the aircraft was fully intact in the seconds before it hit the ground.
Large pieces of fuselage were also recovered from a marina in Indian Lake, a couple of miles away from the crash site, and the planes engines, which according to the laws of physics should have plunged deep into the ground along with the rest of the airliner were never found.
Only a one-ton segment of an engine was ever recovered, again more than a mile from the crash site, which the FBI declared had ‘bounced’ there.
The wreckage from flight 93 remains under armed guard inside Iron Mountain.
Eyewitness accounts, in addition to one call from the flight, also describe loud engine noises, white smoke and parts falling from the flight as it approached its final resting place.
We have previously reported on credible individuals who claim to have personally talked with the pilots who shot the plane down.

So you think you can tell from this photo what type of object caused this smoking crater? I posit that this is not nearly enough information to make such a judgement. Saying things like “No way” and “I don’t know any other way around it” are arguments from personal incredulity and hold no water. Certainly, you are free to speculate, but such speculation should be admitted to only conjecture and nothing more. Unless of course someone would like to produce some compelling evidence. Dimensions of the hole, dimensions of the plane, flight recorder data, air traffic control data would be a good start. I’m not even remotely convinced by hearsay or armchair experts.

Some time shortly after 911, I remember reading online an article somewhere which had the pilot who shot down the plane talked about how he shot it down. He had his name listed and everything. I have since never been able to find that article.
Also, soon as the video clips from the pentagon were released, some image expert geek posted his analysis of the clips in very detailed technical speech on how each frame was of different formats, and how each had diff resolutions, and a bunch of other editing stuff. I have never seen this posting again. I wish I would have kept a copy of them.
Anyone out there remember these?

tig3SR , you need to learn about compartmentalization. Criminal elements in the government were behind 9/11, but the plane was shot down by part of the military that had no involvement, they were just doing their job. It’s routine to intercept planes that go off course, and they will shoot it down if they deem it to be a threat.
Why there is a coverup about this is a mystery, they should have admitted it on day one that they shot it down, then there would be no controversy.

Here is another bend on it. Did anyone ever even consider the fact that the crater was already there? look at the USGS surveys / maps from a few years before the “terrorist attack” at the “crash site” The bigger the lie, the easier the sell. That airliner got blasted to bits in the sky. The planted evidence is now under armed guard, well go figure!

If you listen to your government, one day they will ask you to line up voluntarily to be killed. I am certain that the meek sheep citizens, those with their eyes closed believe in their government, but those sheep citizens are part of the problem. They support through their vote and money a system of evil corporatism intent on finding more ways to make you ill or kill you while the evil Jewish elite make blood money off of the process. Distraction. You have a hero saying “let’s roll” supposedly. You have brave people fighting back. You can talk about that for days and years and make a movie and never have to explain why the buildings came down. And besides, who wants to admit that the government killed it’s own people–then people might say, “well, if they would shoot down a plane, maybe they would blow-up a building.” They probably thought it was better just not to go there.

To this day, I have never heard nor read anything definitive as to whether or not any bodies were found from Pennsylvania or the Pentagon. If debri was found over an 8 mile area in Pennsylvania, would there not have been bodies as part of that debri? I have heard things both pro and con about bodies still being seatbelted to their seats, but again, nothing definitive.
As far as the Pentagon is concerned, I doubt that it was a plane based on the official report. The official report said that the type of jet had its engines on the front wings. Therefore I contend that they could not have “collapsed backwards” or “folded backwards” to squeeze through that 16′ hole. In one picture, there appears to be an outline of the engines and wings, but if that were the case, then I contend that they would have made individual holes on the outside of the center hole being that they were the only solid parts of the jet also being the only things pushing/pulling the rest of the craft along. Therefore I contend that no such center 16′ hole could have possibly been made if there were no other holes. If the engines were on the back fuselage, that would be another story, but again, the official report said it was a jet type with the engines on the wings therefore they would have collapsed forward as the “tin can” makeup of the rest of jet would have just crushed backwards by the sheer structure of the re=inforced walls of the Pentagon stopping it.

the gov. has always claimed that the plane was headed to the capital however, is it possible that the original target was building 7? i know building 7 was not very tall so i dont think it is plausable but i’m still confused as to what the governments explaination was going to be for it imploding. just thinking out loud here.

When I asked webmaster Liz Foreman about this in 04′ she said “Robin don’t…don’t you have a family to worry about???” Cryptic at best I would say but, it fuckin’ happened!!! Interesting to read that we shouldn’t trust the government. Yet, you all want to trust conspiracy theorists? It makes no sense. I also want to know when people became aircraft crash experts in determing that the hole isn’t correct. There is speed to consider, there is angle of the aircraft relative to the ground, etc. It’s like when you drop a glass on a hard floor. The higher up you drop it from the more it goes to terminal velocity and the more scattered the debris is. Same principle in effect here. As for things “falling off” the plane, at a steep angle and high speed the skin of the airplane WOULD start falling off.
Last thing I would point out is about the National Guard supposedly taking the plane out. These pilots must suck totally if it takes from 0935 to 1000 to engage and shoot down an unarmed commercial aircraft. Then of course there is the fact that when a missile takes apart an aircraft the debris would be more scattered that it was because the aircraft comes apart at altitude.

But, mabye they thought it would take more damage from the twin towers collapse, or mabye they are so arrogant that they didn’t worry about it too much. Hopefully we can find out someday. The former French president and the former Isreali president said on cnn right before they left office. The Isreali president said the planes that hit the towers were modified, which means remote control, which this government was gonna do back when Castro was in power in the 60’s to make it look like Castro attacked the US. They changed their minds about this plan at the last minute. If you look at the survailence video clips you can clearly see its a missle that struck the pentagon. Being a former aviation military person, I know FIRST HAND what a crash site looks like.
Engines are buried 30+ feet into the ground and must be dug out if the aircraft goes in nose first.
There are body parts strewn all around – a LOT of them.
There is literally TONS of aircraft wreckage.
There is luggage, clothing, identifiable pieces of jewelry.
There is BLOOD and HAIR, FINGERS, FEET, ARMS, LEG PIECES, BLOODY BITS OF CLOTHING.
Does anyone else see anything wrong with the photos of the “crash site” of flight 93?

it blows me away that the biggest, toughest things on flight 93, the engines, were never found. this fact is almost never mentioned. and if it is, it’s is importance is diminished, passed over for a longer, more indepth story on how some mediocre actress got trashed last night and how that will affect her future. but one of the most important facts in the flight 93 investigation is ignored by the same media.

I just met a young gentlemen who was at the Pentagon 1.5 hours after impact and was stationed at the Pentagon for 90 days digging through the rubble. He says, NO PLANE, NO LUGGAGE, and they only found one body and a hand as far as people go. He also says that inside the hole, the building was GONE up to the roof, and 50 foot in diameter. Can you say Bunker Buster?

I’ve read in a few places that some people believe that 93’s target wasn’t DC as some had originally thought, but perhaps WTC7? There seems to be circumstantial evidence which could lead one to believe that since it did in fact suffer the same fate as the towers, even though it was not struck by an aircraft. Makes sense, building was rigged to go, no impact, but it would have been much more damaging to leave any evidence intact in that building at that point, so we they were left with only one decision … “Pull it.”
On a side note, there is plenty of photographic evidence of what looks like aircraft parts (wheels, landing gear, fuselage and seats) at the Pentagon, in addition to many eyewitness accounts. I found several links on prisonplanet and rense. Based on that evidence alone it appears to rule out the missle/GlobalHawk scenario, and points to an unmanned or automated aircraft.

I’m convinced flight 93 was shot down.. the rest of your theories on the WTC1 and WTC2 are complete and utter bullshit. The fact the prosecutor let this slip proves he knows that it was shot down , but also that he believes that this Hamdan was part of a conspiracy to fly the planes into targets.. It doesn’t help your argument of 911 being and inside job.

Ok…I’ll bite. The story is now that a “plane” was shot down. Fine. In fact….investigators and the airlines have said they have collected 95% of the “downed plane”. Great. Show us the plane? They can’t. In fact…..Bush made it a law that says you can NEVER see the plane. Ever. It is now a felony to go and look at the crash site. It is now a crime to go to Shanksville and ask questions. In reading the avalanche of mainstream news articles immediately following the atrocities of 9/11, I firmly recall MSNBC specifically describing Flight 93 experiencing an explosion on the wing. It stated nothing about a suicide maneuver; in fact, I noted the comment, “there is nothing the pilot could have done to cause the wing to smoke”. I bookmarked the article, which was deleted from MSNBC shortly after (hmm!), and instead replaced with a fabricated, “corrected” account of the hijacked plane initiating a suicide plunge to the ground below in rural Pennsylvania. I don’t know what happened with the plane that crashed in the field in Pennsylvania, but those
were real airplanes that hit the World Trade Center. I heard the first report of one plane hitting
the WTC at about 8:00 A.M. Chicago time on the radio, and then I immediately turned on the
T.V., and that second plane that hit the WTC was a real airplane. It was no missile. And then
later in the day, they showed the first plane that some guy had caught on camera, and it was a
real airplane too. What hit the pentagon I don’t know, and how they brought that plane down in
Pennsylvania, I don’t know. But the 2 objects that hit the WTC were real airplanes.

Here’s what I think happened. The WTC was hit by 2 airplanes. They planted the passport of
Muhammed Atta so there would be no argument of who did it, but I believe Atta was one of the
hijackers on one of those planes. I believe the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was shot down
by the Air Force after they realized the passengers could not overpower the hijackers, and
finally I believe that the 4th plane did hit the pentagon. It was seen circling over Washington, D.C. just before the crash. I talked to Tom Hartman today on Air America, and when he told
me the 4th plane was seen hovering over D.C., that was enough for me, in spite of all the mystery.

In view of the $30 billion given annually to the FBI, the CIA and other U.S. “intelligence” agencies, why were these agencies completely unaware (or so they say) of this conspiracy before they saw its results on CNN? And why has this (apparent) incompetence been rewarded with yet more billions?
The four AA and UA jets took off with an average occupancy rate of 27%. That four airliners from major airlines leaving from the East Coast around 9 a.m. on a weekday for the West Coast would all have such low occupancy rates is highly unlikely. Was the booking system tampered with in order to ensure such low occupancy rates (so that the passengers from all four planes could eventually be loaded onto UA Flight 93 for elimination)?
Why would hijackers intending to crash planes into the WTC hijack jets taking off from Boston rather than from someplace closer such as JFK Airport in New York?
Why would hijackers intending to crash a plane into the Pentagon hijack a jet from Dulles Airport near Washington DC (and thus close to the Pentagon) and allow it to fly for 40 minutes away from its target before turning around and flying another 40 minutes back to it (knowing that interception by military jets during this time would in normal circumstances have been very likely)?
AA Flight 77 (the jet which allegedly crashed into the Pentagon) was allegedly hijacked at about 9 a.m., at about the same time as the Twin Tower impacts, and its change of course back toward Washington, or its transponder having been turned off, would have been known to flight controllers, who were aware of the impacts; why, then, were U.S. Air Force jets not scrambled to intercept AA Flight 77 forty minutes before it (allegedly) hit the Pentagon, when there were U.S. Air Force jets at seven locations normally ready to take off at ten minutes’ notice?
Why are the FAA, the FBI, the CIA and the NSA refusing to release any transcripts of communications from the four doomed Boeings on September 11th or any records at all relating to signals of any form transmitted by those jets?
Where are the black boxes (the flight data recorders and the cockpit voice recorders) from all four jets? These black boxes are designed to survive any crash. Have they been examined by experts from the National Transportation Safety Board, the agency which normally investigates airplane crashes? If not, why not?
In particular, what is on the FDR and the CVR from UA Flight 93, the jet which crashed in Pennsylvania? Why, exactly, did this jet crash? Was it shot down?
Were the conversations between the pilots of the other three hijacked planes and air traffic controllers recorded? If so, what did those pilots say? Were those recordings siezed by the FBI? Were (alleged) transcripts given by the FBI to the mainstream media? Were those transcripts fabricated to provide false evidence in support of the “Arab hijackers” story?
Does the Fireman’s Video show that the plane which hit the North Tower did not have engines attached to the wings and thus was not a Boeing 767? Does it reveal that missiles were fired from this plane just before it hit?
Since no public TV cameras were trained on the North Tower at the time of impact, what was the source of the transmission of the North Tower impact which George W. Bush says he saw before he went into the classroom in Florida? Why did he do nothing (except continue listening to a little girl’s story about a goat) for half an hour after he was informed that the second jet hit the South Tower (and that America was “under attack”)? Did Bush have prior knowledge of the WTC attack?
Considering that all persons on board all four planes died, how did the FBI come up so quickly with a list of names of the alleged nineteen Arab hijackers — including aliases used by fourteen of them, in some cases seven aliases (see the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 2001-09-27)? Why were there no Arab names on the passenger lists at all? Did the FBI prepare in advance a list of the names (and aliases) of the (alleged) “Arab hijackers” on those flights?
Why did the South Tower collapse first, 56 minutes after it was hit, rather than the North Tower (which was hit first and collapsed 1 hour and 44 minutes after being hit), even though the fire in the North Tower (the alleged cause of the collapse) was more intense?
If the outer perimeter walls of the Twin Towers were connected to the central cores only by lightweight trusses, how was wind load on the towers transmitted to the central core (as it must have been because the floors did not buckle in a strong wind)?
What exactly was the nature of the structural connections between the outer perimeter wall and the central core of the two towers? Is it not false that this consisted only of lightweight flimsy trusses? Is it not the case that the connection was actually made with 32,000 tons of steel beams?
Why are the architect’s plans of the Twin Towers not publicly available?
Would jet fuel burning in an enclosed space (with little oxygen available for combustion) actually produce temperatures high enough (1538°C, i.e. 2800°F) to melt massive steel beams (and all the steel beams, since steel conducts heat efficiently) enclosed in concrete in just 56 minutes? If so, wouldn’t the Twin Towers have buckled and bent, and toppled over onto the surrounding buildings in the Lower Manhattan financial district, rather than collapsing neatly upon themselves in the manner of a controlled demolition?
Were the Twin Towers re-engineered in the mid-1990s to make possible a collapse-on-demand if that were judged necessary? Was FEMA aware of this? Do blueprints of the Twin Towers in the possession of the past owners reveal any evidence of this?
Why were such huge quantities of ash and dust produced? How could fire convert concrete into dust? Has the ash been chemically analysed to determine what it really is and how it might have been produced?
Were any tests done on the debris for the presence of radioactivity?
Is it not the case that the Twin Towers collapsed, not because of airliner impacts and fires, but because they were expertly demolished (even though we do not yet know exactly how this was accomplished)?
Who stood to benefit from the complete destruction of the Twin Towers?
What was the actual size of the entrance hole made by the object which hit the Pentagon? Is it not the case that photographic evidence reveals that it was in fact at most just a few meters in diameter, much too small to have been made by a Boeing 757 jet, but just the right size for a missile?
Why were no aircraft fragments, identifiable as coming from a Boeing 757, recovered from the Pentagon crash site?
Why were no remains of the approximately sixty passengers and crew on the jet which allegedly hit the Pentagon returned to relatives for burial?
Why was the debris from the collapsed Twin Towers removed from the site with no forensic examination? Why was almost all of it sold to scrap merchants and shipped abroad where it would not be available for scientific examination?
In September 2001 the Securities and Exchange Commission initiated an inquiry to establish who benefited from the unusually high numbers of put options purchased prior to September 11 for shares in companies whose stock prices subsequently plummeted, on the supposition that whoever was behind the hijacking was also behind most of the purchases of these put options. Why has this inquiry stalled? Why have those who benefited from the purchases of these put options not been identified (or at least, not publicly)?
Is it not the case that this atrocity was planned and carried out by elements at high levels of command in the U.S. Air Force, the CIA, the Justice Department and FEMA (possibly with the involvement of well-placed civilians outside the government), acting under orders from, or with the approval of, high officials within the U.S. Administration, and that those same elements are now directing a propaganda campaign against the American people to justify a war of aggression in Asia and the Middle East aimed at controlling the oil and mineral wealth of those regions?
Why has the U.S. mainstream media ignored questions like these for over three years? Why are they complicit in the cover-up?

How brave of them to shoot a major motion film based on real life events and still get the facts wrong. * If you didn’t see it at the end of the movie they have some so called patriots over take the hijackers and the plane crashed. In nowhere in that film did the plane get shot down.
We also have Donald Rumsfeld himself admitting the same thing “We shot down the plane” (on video). Plus the fact of very little rubble remaining from a jumbo jet that so called crashed. (also on video)
