This one is scary.
A new infectious disease is spreading in large areas of Mainland China. Symptoms are similar to AIDS but it spreads faster between family members, even via bodily fluids like saliva. Here is more on this story.

“This disease destroys immunity cells just like AIDS. The lowest amount of immunity cells of some patients is only 200, mine is 400. The doctor couldn’t find many antibodies, so he called it ‘Fear of AIDS’ disease.”
Preliminary research shows that patients have symptoms of fatigue, chronic diarrhea, swollen lymph nodes, and weakened immunity. But doctors cannot find any sign of the HIV virus.

“A huge number of people caught the nameless virus but the doctors cannot make a thorough check. So they make a conclusion that it’s a ‘Fear of AIDS’ disease. The symptoms are very much like those of AIDS.”
Because the Chinese Ministry of Health doesn’t recognize the disease, it has not carried out any investigation. However, patients feel very horrified and sad when they see their family members and friends become infected by coming into contact with their saliva or sweat.

“We hope that media reports can pressure the relevant departments to pay more attention to the disease. Do not make any irresponsible conclusions and say it is caused by fear or psychological effect it is a real virus. Many doctors, including doctors from Beijing also say this is an infectious disease.”
Doctors from mainland China also believe patients might catch the disease. However, the exact number of people infected remains unknown and what the mortality rate is, and how many have died from it.

If you read luke 17:34 through 36 you will recognize the “one taken, one left” parable, this is where most christians stop reading. ut if you read the very next , 37 it is written (”Where Lord?” they asked. Sorry Stevelovesgod … Corbinforfreedom is correct…I’ve always been amazed by the belief in a pre-trib rapture there is no scriptural evidence that supports it. Though the peace treaty and the building of the Temple happen at some point …and we see Mr. Obama trying to get a peace treaty going… well ….we watch in “anticipation”. There is still a mosque that sits on that site and unless something drastic happens I think it’s going to be a hell of a fight for that little piece of land.

No, the tribulation will kick with a world-wide earth quake. The pre-tribulation rapture Steve talks about is a fraud found nowhere in scripture. The pre-trib rapture doctrine was created by the Catholic Church in order to combat the protestant belief that the Catholic Church was the beast spoken of in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation.

Thanks, cpt trips. I’ve actually never believed in the rapture. I was fortunate enough to have a good friend teach me quite a bit about the bible back in ‘96. He warned me then to be leary of GWBush. He said specifically, he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Unfortunately, I can’t say I know much about the Bible. I’ve read quite a bit and have listened to audio cd of the new testament all the way through. But that was NLT version, which I believe to be corrupted significantly. The Bible I read at home is KJV, because I believe that to be the most honest translation available these days. NIV is second best, in my opinion. I completely stay away from MSG…seems to be hardcore blasphemy. Anyway, I try to learn but it doesn’t seem to all sink in. I need to find an online Bible study group.

Your friend did you a service, most mainstream Christians (I’m not saying your friend was one of these) fell for his deception hook, line and sinker. The KJV is bar far the best translation I know of. The NIV leaves out some very significant passages and was based on the corrupt Alexandria texts. I do like the way the NIV makes some of the scriptures a bit clear for those who have trouble with the KJV but it must be supplemented with the KJV if you want to do any in-depth study.

corbinforfreedom is right. The Pre-Trib Rapture is false teaching. My wife and I believed it because we attended a church for many years that taught it. The we studied for ourselves. The most commonly quoted “Pre-Trib Rapture” verse is in I Thessolonians 4. Please study this for yourself, wthout use of commentaries. The passage is talking about the Second Coming. Christ does not come 3 times. There is so uch more, but suffice it to say that the Pre-Trib Rapture is possibly the most dangerous thing that’s ever been taught from the pulpit. It causes comlacency in the church today, and in the end times it could certainly cause apostasy. Examine the Scriptures with a fresh start. Set aside what you’ve been told, and ask the Lord to show you. He will. The Word teaches us that he who endures to the end will be saved. He who overcomes will be granted a place in heaven. This is kind of ridiculous. There is no evidence presented that it is a virus or any other type of infectious disease except for Chinese doctors swearing that it is. Also, last time I checked, I’ve never heard of a virus being spread by sweat. BTW I am a scientist.
If it is a virus, what kind is it? What are its characteristics? How does it reduce the number of immune cells in the body? All of these questions are addressed without any data. I call BS on this video until more information comes out.

This disease is a lot like mononucleosis which has all the same symptoms is transferred the same way and everything. Cure lots of iron and B vitamins and like a month or three of sleep(which is pretty much all you can will yourself to do with mono). I don’t think anyone has ever done a t-cell count on someone with mono but I would bet its significantly lower. Maybe this is a mutation of the virus but I guarantee they are related in some way. It doesn’t say if the patients are dying or ever get better.

I was talking to my girl at breakfast about this and maybe its just me but things just feel different being out in public, I don’t know what it is but it feels like something really fucked up is going to happen at any time, and her advice to me is stay off them damn websites. The rapture won’t happen until there is a falling away (of the faith), and the antichrist is revealed, and he’s sitting in the newly built Jewish temple in Jerusalem (which isn’t even built, yet) making himself “God”. There is nowhere in the Bible that says, the rapture happens before the tribulation period, or before the seven year treaty is signed, that brings a false peace to the middle east. Mary (when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead) and Jesus, both said, the resurrection of the dead will occur on the “last day”, and Paul says, the gathering up (or rapture) will happen just after the resurrection… on the LAST DAY!! “He who endures till the end will be saved”… so Christian, get ready for some persecution!! Pray, so you won’t fall into temptation, and read the Bible, so you will keep your faith strong!! Heads are going to roll, folks!!

Oh the dreaded 144,000 argument that has been twisted by traditional church Christianity.
OK…The 144,000 spoken of are those that God has set aside for His purpose to help His Kingdom reign in after the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Do not mistake the Kingdom of God for Heaven, for these are 2 different things.
God’s Kingdom will be physical here on Earth.
God is STILL gathering His 144,000. These will be witnesses, workers etc…In the time of Christ’s return after the Last Trumpet sounds.
Many are called, but few are chosen. Many will repent and turn to Christ during the 7 year Tribulation spoken of in the Book of Daniel. To say that only 144,000 will make it into eternal life is crazy.
And, there is not going to be a pre-mid-or end Tribulation. We all go through it. Those who endure to the end with Christ in their hearts will be blessed.
Now is the time to watch and wait and seek God’s forgivness and let Him convict you in the flesh while there is still time, so that you may not suffer the White Throne Judgement and die the second death.
Turn your hearts to Christ and confess with your mouth that He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and ask Him with all your heart, mind and soul to forgive you of your sins. So, that you may be baptized by the Holy Spirit and receive your spiritual gifts that He has set aside for you. Then walk with Him daily. Seek His face.
It is going to get bad here on Earth very soon. Don’t blame God for the events that are about to occur on a global scale. We can only blame ourselves. Prophecy is a warning of what will come if things do not change. Well, as humans we have never changed. We have sealed our own fate, and God is no liar. It will happen just as He said.

The Avian Flu (or Bird Flu), so often mentioned by newspapers, magazines and other news sources, is a particularly severe form of influenza. It should probably be called Poultry Flu, since almost all of the 150 or so human infections have come from domestic poultry. [3] Interestingly, the symptoms of avian flu include hemorrhages under the skin, and bleeding from the nose and gums. These are also classical symptoms of clinical scurvy, which means a critical vitamin C deficiency is present.
This means that vitamin C (ascorbate) is needed to treat it. Severe cases may require 200,000 to 300,000 milligrams of vitamin C or more, given intravenously (IV) by a physician. This very high dosing may be needed since the Avian Flu appears to consume vitamin C very rapidly, similar to an acute viral hemorrhagic fever, somewhat like an Ebola infection.
What should you do if you think you have a viral infection – any viral infection – coming on and IV vitamin C is not readily available? Nobel laureate Linus Pauling said that as soon as you feel the symptoms of sniffles, a cold or the flu, take oral doses of thousands of milligrams of vitamin C.
For best results, take vitamin C in evenly divided doses during the waking hours. Continue taking vitamin C on this schedule until, Pauling says, you have loose stool (just short of diarrhea). After having loosened stool, reduce the vitamin C dosage reduce by about 25 per cent. If you have another loose stool, reduce the vitamin C again, but if the symptoms of the viral infection begin to return, increase the dosage. You will quickly learn how much vitamin C to take; even children can learn to do this. Continue until you are completely well. Vitamin C greatly shortens the severity and duration of viral illnesses.
Vitamin C expert Robert Cathcart, M.D., specifies very high therapeutic doses of vitamin C. For a severe cold: 60,000 to 100,000 milligrams/day. [4] For most influenza (flu), 100,000 to 150,000 mg/day. [5] For Avian (Bird) Flu, 150,000 to 300,000 mg/day.[6]
Remember:
Vitamin C replaces antiviral drugs at saturation (bowel tolerance or loose stool) levels.
The reason very high doses of a vitamin can cure an illnesses is because a disease-induced deficiency of that vitamin can be a cause of the illness.
As for the safety of this approach: There is not even one death per year from vitamins. Pharmaceutical drugs, properly prescribed and taken as directed, kill over 100,000 Americans annually. Hospital errors kill still more. Unlike drugs, with vitamins, the range of safe dosages is extraordinarily large.
