Just a few weeks after the Los Angeles City Council approved a batch of new gun and ammunition ordinances tightening restrictions on ammunition vendors, council members Jack Weiss and Janice Hahn are proposing a new law that would make it more difficult for individuals convicted of certain misdemeanors to own guns.

The proposal, which Weiss and Hahn plan to introduce as early as today’s council meeting, would expand on a state law that bars possession of a gun for 10 years if convicted of certain crimes, including assault, illegal weapons sales or threatening a public official or a witness.
Weiss, a candidate for city attorney in the March 3 primary election, has made gun control one of his top campaign issues.
Weiss and Hahn’s measure would add other offenses to the list, including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of an assault weapon, burglary and misdemeanor gang crimes.

Well the ten years is only if you are on your best behavior and you submitt to the prison rapings and the flu shots don’t kill you and your family has a lot of money to buy your food with. And you can afford to pay restitution and you can live with being disarmed for the rest of your life and they don’t work you to death. I just read about another gun giveaway deal in South Carolina.
They gave a Rose and gift card for people turning in guns.

It came to my attention recently that you are proposing to the Los Angeles city council a gun ban for those individuals convicted of certain misdemeanor infractions. Such a legislation could not be more unjust, unconstitutional and unAmerican.
To my knowledge, misdemeanors are “lesser” crimes and comprise of such activities as spraying graffiti, petty vandalism, indecent public exposure, trespassing and such like. While I submit that individuals convicted of these minor infractions should receive fines and sentences equivalent to the degree of the crime committed, I do not agree with your agenda to bar indefinitely such individuals from exercising their second amendment gun rights in your district.
Such a law would be as senseless as revoking permanently an individual’s drivers license as a consequence of a J-walking citation.
This proposed legislation also presupposes that individuals who commit misdemeanor infractions will eventually commit felonies and violent crimes, such as aggravated assault, rape, arson and murder. In this country, is not a person innocent until proven guilty? Do we not grant an individual due process and only convict and punish such an individual until he/she commits a crime? Or do we now revoke the peoples’ constitutional rights based on the assumption that they will be involved in criminal activities?
I understand that your agenda, on the surface, is to reduce violent, gang-related crimes in your district, but let us be clear and frank here: This anti-second amendment legislation does not merely apply to gang members. This law will infringe and usurp the gun ownership rights of nonviolent citizens convicted of such misdemeanor infractions as traffic violations, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. I urge you to reconsider your stance on this matter and distance yourself from this particular anti-gun rights legislation.

There has been ample stench raised about gun control and bills introduced that directly infringe upon Article II of the Bill of Rights otherwise referred to as the “Second Amendment”.

Further there have been many disingenuous arguments made against this Right in the name of the “Framers Intent”. This Intent is quite well summarized in the Framers own writing s and cannot subverted.

Further, I submit that any “public servant”, defined as any member of the government elected, appointed, or otherwise in the employ of the people, is guilty of treason for taking any position that is counter the solemn and sacred oaths of office taken to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America. I propose and invite any in a position to profer laws to submit now that, no official, be they legislative, judicial executive, no member of a rogue law enforcement group, such as but not limited to the FBI, CIA, DEA, IRS, BATF or any civilian organization, such as the errant Guardian Angels from possessing or using firearm against the public, nor should any municipal police entity or individual be able to carry a firearm when the have demonstrated they are irresponsible and abusive to their authority, responsibility, public trust etc., such as, by taser torturing or murdering a citizen, strip searching a women or child, or murdering a citizen by any other means, that citizen or bystander, having the authority to use deadly force against that rogue element or conspirators, particularly in that, they may be held accountable under misprision of felony or treason if they stand by and allow a state of federal employee to commit such an atrocity against a citizen of these United States!
Any officer having relieved a citizen of his or her rights or property or life shall there by forfeit their own property and assets to the victim forthwith!

Why are Jews behind most of the gun control agenda?,consider:Weiss,Hahn,Metzenbaum,Boxer,Schumer,Feinstein,Gellar(1968 gc act),Nader,Lowy,Bloomberg,Rahm Emanuel, and essentially all of the democratic lawmakers that are Jewish are behind this agenda,but they never say a peep about Israeli settlers who are allowed to carry fully automatic weapons to protect their lives….but the American Goyim don’t rate that privledge.

Gun Control historically has been, and is today, mostly about disarming the black and minority community. There was a trial way back in the 1920’s in which some blacks used firearms to defend their homes from an angry mob. The white jury wouldn’t even convict, because the case of self defense was so obvious. Therefore, the city and state legislators enacted legislation to make it difficult for a black person to own a firearm.
And this is happening again today.
Who has the most infractions that might bar them from firearm ownership? Blacks and other minorities.
Will blacks and other minorities stand unarmed while living or working in high crime areas? I think not.
Someday, the L.A. government is going to stir up its own opposition, and when it does I doubt their 15,000 man police force will be able to quell the 100,000 gang members or 2,000,000 armed citizens that stand up and say “NO MORE!”
Folks ought to demonstrate and march on City Hall. When will L.A. realize that a “Constitutional right” is not an easily revocable “privilege”?
