Stop worrying if Jesus is real or not and work together to stop the New World Order.

Honestly the stupid conflicts between athiests and christians or any other religion are stupid.

Divide and conquer anyone? Get the group to fight itself?

If jesus was the way, truth and life then that would have to be universal. It isn’t. There would be no need for missionaries spreading the “gospel”. There are indeed people whom will live and die without even hearing the name of jesus. And certainly no righteous god would condemn them to hell for not calling on the name of god. Christians will counter this with an ludicrous “god works in mysterious ways” as a way of not thinking. Well, if they don’t need jesus then no one does. We are all born on the earth of the same substance body and soul. That simple insight, the same insight that has made many a child hesitate before “accepting Christ”, is enough philosophical proof for me to keep me far and away from Christianity (although I was raised- brainwashed into it being born in the typical American culture).

If that wasn’t proof enough, despite your earlier posts, there is no real evidence outside the “bible” as proof of jesus’ existence even as a man. That’s just the real truth. Every gets there sources from someone else so to say that someone is parroting or repeating someone else’s opinions of Jesus deriving from Horus, as you seemed to have alluded to in a previous post, makes little difference. One has to look at all evidence and make rational decisions. Most of what passes for “faith” is just pure indoctrination. Take that same person- go back in time and transplant them from birth into another culture in another faith and you might find that they are now speaking with profound “faith” and calling hard core truth a totally different personification of god. So, in my opinion, looking at the facts- jesus is a myth and it’s very clear it was derived from the same sources as Egyptian and Babylonian, etc. and if I die, as surely as the moon and stars are in the sky; I will not go to hell for not calling on the name of jesus. How can I be sure of that? Is it called faith? Common sense? Reasoning by “god”-given intellect that is easy for even a child to comprehend?

No sane and just and good “god” would condemn someone to torture forever. That simple. Which is another reason I don’t believe the Christian doctrine.

The bible is riddled with contradictions, geographical errors, “evil” moral issues on the side of the righteous, “steals” and incorporations from earlier religions that are obvious to any unbiased scholar of myth/religion . Too many to go into.

Religions do nothing but give a false hope. They serve to divide people from one another. The value that it does have- in parts where it speaks of unconditional love, peace, would be better served by universal messages that are all – inclusive of everyone on the planet rather than the “believers”.

the only difference would come to a believer whom is hopeful for change and is seeking relief from guilt or the overwhelming circumstances in this world and allowing that relief to come in the form of jesus. many other religions do the exact same thing by praying to other god/myths.

religion is, in large part, a matter of geography. if you were born into deep china and indoctrinated into worshipping buddah and told that that path is the only path then chances are you will stick with it- and if you did you are not going to hell when you die.
