The poll, administered June 12-16, found that 72 percent of respondents favored the creation of a government health-insurance plan that would compete with private insurers.
It also said 50 percent of respondents thought the government would do a better job providing medical coverage than private insurers, up from 30 percent in 2007; and that 59 percent thought the government would be better at holding down costs, up from 47 percent two years ago.

polls are a farce and easily rigged to reflect a desired outcome. People are normally followers who need numbers to feel safe. It’s no different for opinions either. People under 40 are generally clueless about politics and current issues. It seems as if people stopped caring and are walking around in a trance. Having meaningful conversations with people is almost impossible. I am a in my late 20’s and I will admit that my generation is mostly retarted. No vocab skills, no creativity. There is a lot of good worker bee’s that can crunch numbers. The brave new world is here. Polls like this should not be taken seriously because over half of the responders have no clue about the details of healthcare. Also I put myself in the category of being mildly retarded, I drank a ton of high fructose orange soda and tap water growing up in a polluted city, the damage has been done but I am fighting through it.

I lost my health insurance a year and a half ago, It got so expensive I could no longer aford it. I, for one, should be all in favor of universal health care but I’m not. The government will just fuck it up like they do everything else that they get their greedy criminal hands on.
