NRA Asks Supreme Court To Strike Down Chicago’s Gun Ban

The National Rifle Association is wasting no time in asking the Supreme Court to strike down the latest verdict on Chicago’s handgun ban.
On Tuesday, a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the gun ordinance in Chicago and the Oak Park suburb.
NRA officials say last year’s gun rights decision in the District of Columbia should also appeal to local and state laws.
If the Supreme Court agrees to pick up the case, it will not get underway until September.

One thing we cannot stop is the coming of different ages. It’s not gonna cost them anything, there is no death within the divine law, just changes. If a person truly understands it, they will know that we are exiting the age of pisces (corruption, deception and dillusion) to the age of aquarius (which is about love, and harmony with all things). In my opinion I welcome that change with open arms, nothing will be stolen from us because we truly own nothing, and there is no luxury, just love and peace for all.

Anyone with a couple of brain cells to generate coherent thought should realize that that instinct to bond with family, protect, defend and care for another human being is part of the divine spark of our Creator that He has put in the human heart. Anything good on this planet comes from God. Lucifer/Satan gets way more attention than he deserves, which is what his objective is anyway, and always has been. To set up a way to divert the worship of Jehovah to himself.
The right to bear arms in self-defense is part of that protection mechanism. There are and always have been demonically-influenced people who have no conscience, no moral compass and no compassion. Wow, you either ignorant or an idiot. Perhaps both. The second amendment had nothing to do with hunting. It had nothing to do with personal protection, (though that is a nice perk of it) but it was created to the people can protect themselves from a government should it become tyrannical. Lets look at a couple of examples from history. Hitler loved gun control. Since the people, specifically the jews were defenseless, he was able to kill 6 million of them. Stalin also loved gun control. He was able to kill over 10 million of his own people because of it. There are many more examples, but I don’t want to wast anymore time or effort on someone who probably doesn’t care all too much about freedom, thinks government has our best interests at heart, (I mean of course you can trust the government, ask any native american) and probably think communism is a great idea, it just wasn’t put into practice right in the past by those other highly successful countries like Russia, China, Cuba, etc…

You obviously have no idea what guns are for. The second amendment does not grant us the right to bear arms it declares our god given right to bear arms. Also, if you took the time to do some reasearch and read the federalist papers written by the founding fathers you would know that the second amendment has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with defending ourselves from our governement. Governments have always been tyranical by nature so to prevent our government from becoming tyranical we the people who give our government its power are to be armed to prevent the people of this country being enslaved.

Hunting is a nice side benefit though. I wonder if these people understand what would happen if their wasn’t anyone hunting the various wild game in our country? How many people would be dying in car accidents because of deer strikes? What about a population explosion, the deer would probably be starving to death, suffering a hundred times more than if a bullet had ended their life. I’ve never met a hunter who killed only for sport, all of them eat what they kill. this kind of mindset is a little bit crazy, people value the lives of animals over human beings.

thanks rob, my dad taught me how to shoot when i was 6yrs old. he taught me well. there isnt much from an animal a person cannot use in daily life. sinew, twisted and dried makes great thread for holding leather together in shoes, caps, ponchos, ect. my dad taught me not to kill an animal unless i was gonna eat it. he taught me how to kill em, chop off the head, gut it, skin it and cook it up. actually goes good with garden vegetables. he even taught me how to smoke and cure it. tastes better too. now, dont get me wrong, i am a patriot, my guns, knives and bows are MINE, my way of life is with weapons. period. after all, a girl has to eat.

Self-defense is a natural right. Our Founding Fathers understood that. George Washington called the Second Amendment the “teeth” of the People’s freedom. When you take guns away from the People, then you take away their natural right to self defense. It’s like de-clawing a cat. It’s cruel and un-natural. Sure, it’s nice to have furniture that’s not all scratched up, but you leave the cat defenseless against predators. Even the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that self-defense is a natural right. The Catechism goes even further to state that the use of deadly force may not only be necessary, but in some instances a moral obligation when it comes to defending oneself or one’s children or neighbor against an aggressor.

I would argue that we are already enslaved. At some point, look up the 1926 anti-slavery convention’s definition.
“Slavery is the status or condition of a person over whom any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership are exercised.”
The Supplementary Convention on the Abolition of Slavery in 1956 included a few other things.

How many have debts that can never be repaid, who had no choice about the debts? How many generations will never be able to pay off the national debt? Can the government choose to not allow you to be married? To have privacy? Can they prevent you from speaking when and where you wish, when no harm comes from the speaking? Must you apply for permission to travel abroad, to gain access to the best and most efficient means of travel? Do you have any choice on not paying off the taxes levied to ‘pay’ that debt, and will you ever be finished? Can your property be seized to repay that debt, even if you have faithfully followed the known obligations to that debt?
At that point do you really own anything? You must apply for the right to carry a weapon, apply for the right to gain an education, apply for the ability to gain medical care and accept further limitations upon your life for the application. Your labour is registered and traded, the works of your hands belong to those whom you owe that unwilling debt. Is this freedom?
Or merely another form of slavery?

We’re in a spiritual battle here, even more than a physical one. I’m so sick of hearing “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” That’s what people say when they don’t want anyone saying they’re wrong. Judging carries the translated meaning of being able to pass sentence, and only God has that right. But we are told to be discerning over and over. Otherwise we fall into every deception coming down the pike.
You’re walking along and see a poisonous snake. You’ve been trained to recognize them. There is no reason to reach down, pick it up, and wonder if it’s really what you think it is. No, if you’re not a fool, you give it a wide berth. You wouldn’t pick up a rotten apple off the ground because you’ve discerned that it will make you sick.
In the case of the NWO, it doesn’t take much to discern the hand of evil. Then act accordingly. We’re not passing sentence, not “judging”. That’s for a court to decide after they’ve been charged as war criminals. Yes, the meek SHALL inherit the earth, but only when Jesus has returned and established His throne. He will judge righteously and THEN there will be something akin to the utopia that is the hope of so many.
The meek cannot inherit the earth at this time. The NWO has prepared us for slaughter. Whether or not that actually happens depends as much on people standing up for their rights as anyone else. History does repeat itself, over and over. The only reason this country has lasted as long as it has is this: The founding fathers recognized that our survival as a country depended on our “Creator”, and His moral laws. I believe the NRA has bargained away our freedoms in the recent past. They have not always been on the side of the CONSTITUTIONAL meaning of the Second Ammendment. For example, they beat the drums in favor of the so-called “Instants Background Checks” which is just a polite way of saying “you must first get approval from the Government to access your Constitutional and Civil Rights”. As far as the Chicago ruling is concerned, I hope is overturned but I will not hold my breath.

Larry Pratt was involved with some very shady characters in the past (crazy neo-cons and special interest groups funded by the Rockefellers, etc.) Don’t get me wrong, a man can always change but I wonder if this is the case when it comes to Larry Pratt. We need to take a look at what Gun Owners of America is doing. Are they for repealing all gun control laws? You might want to trot out a little proof of the shady dealings you speak for regarding Larry Pratt. All you have to do is go to http://www.gunowners.org, and check it out for yourself, to see what they are doing…
the National Rifle Association is a shill organization. It was incorporated right after the incorporation of Washington DC… its job is primarily the second amendment… its sister organization, the American Civil Liberties Union, was incorporated the same year. Their jobs as controlled opposition was to incorporate the Bill of Rights, to dismantle it by legal process and reconstruct it within the corporate Roman civil law, where it could be dictated and controlled.
An old friend of mine was a member of the board of the NRA from 1980 until 1993. He was appalled at how little the organization respected the Second amendment and its intent, yet they would grovel and pander to gun sports organizations, and manufacturers for endorsement…
When the 1994 omnibus crime bill was being debated, that was the bill that demonized certain classes of misdemeanors including the infamous Lautenberg amendment, as well as the “assault weapons” ban… To counter this, and look on the surface like they gave a rats ass… rather than approaching it from the Second amendment point of view, the National Rifle Association came out with a series of programs, and commercials that basically stated that the NRA was tough on crime… it was a failed campaign, that cost 10s of millions of dollars.
The Gun Owners of America, and the Jews for Preservation of Firearms Ownership, on the other hand, with their money, what little they could muster… began the fight against the omnibus crime bill on Second Amendment and 10th Amendment grounds… Had the NRA put their resources into the same Constitutional push against the draconian omnibus crime bill, things would be considerably different now.
It was at that time that I took my NRA lifetime membership card, and stapled it to a note with a five dollars bill, stapled to the card… the note said, “this five dollars is specifically to remain attached to this NRA lifetime membership card, in order to give the card valuable enough to be thrown in the trash.

I agree 100% on the issue of so-called convited felons not been allowed to own a firearm. Our system has always been suported by the ideal that “if a man does the crime he does the time, period” The Constitution is very explicit on the issue of cruel and unusual punisment, to deprive someone of his/her Civil Rights (including the right to bear arms) for life over a crime for which they’ve already served their punisment for, is clearly cruel and unusual. There’s nothing in the Constitution about certain people not owning guns over a past mistake, or some BS restraning order, or some “Doctors evaluation” it clearly says The Right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed, period!

Pretty interesting that the NRA (which I definitely do not support) is directly related to the ACLU, not good. I’ve check out Gun Owners of America before but I never did see anything specific concerning the abolishment of all gun control laws. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough?
I’m just very weary of any organization that is involved in politics. Though I like what Ron Paul seems to stand for I do not trust him fully. After all, he’s still a professional politician.
I appreciate the information brother. I’m glad that you didn’t get shot and that your local sheriff is an honorable man, you’re very fortunate. Isn’t it ironic that a naturalized citizen has more respect for the Constitution then the people who were born here?
I like old firearms also, one of my favorites in the 1858 New Army (cap & ball). You’d be surprised at how accurate those old revolvers are. I think anyone that is just starting out and is taking an interest in firearms should start with black powder revolvers. They are a great way to learn the fundamentals of how a gun works. As long as the proper safety precautions are followed they are very safe.

Al Georg used to hunt bear with a scoped Navy Arms reproduction of the 44 cal. 1858 Remington New Army, ball&cap… I have mine right here… they are incredibly accurate with that 8″ barrel… Mine is in a clip holster on the side of the counter here, with an extra loaded cylinder in the provided loop…
Over the years I have worked up several loads using “The Holy Black” (powder) and Hodgdon 777… For power, accuracy, and TKO shock… 18 grains of H-777 topped with a Lee 452/230 SWC bullet, sized to .449, lubed and sealed with 50/50 beeswax and Crisco has proved to be my favorite.
In the 2.5 pound frame, it feels like a factory .357 Magnum when it discharges… velocities as measured by chrony hover around 1100fps with about 600 foot pounds of energy… Yes, I like my 1858 Rem.

Nothing in the Cap & Ball revolver world can be loaded faster (thanks to the 1858’s cylinder and loading arm design), it’s an awesome old revolver from the Civil war era. The holy black is the way to go. I personally prefer it over the synthetic powders available. Some say it is harder to clean but I think Pyrodex is dirtier. Besides, Goex is a bit more accurate in my opinion. I’ve never used Swiss before but have heard that it is the best.
Triple seven is very nice though, I have used that before. I’ve also used both Lee conical mold designs (.452 and the .457 for the Ruger Old Army) and they work great. I used to use wads (I made my own too) but switched to just using mint flavored bore butter. I haven’t encountered any problems due to empty space between the bullet and the power. I used to use corn meal also but only use it when making quick reload paper cartridges.
Getting velocities over 1000 FPS is impressive as hell! I don’t own a chronograph so I’m not really sure on the average FPS that I’m getting. But I think of it in terms of a .45 cal pistol, slow and hard will do the job every time. What kind of pounds per square inch does your load work out to? Probably some devastating energy. I love my 1858 also.

Why is it that, for the last seventy-five years (since the passage of the National Firearms Act of 1934), the NRA has NEVER called for the repeal of ALL gun laws? That would be the ONLY way the Second Amendment’s decades old infringement by hundreds of federal, state and local laws could finally be ended. Yet, like the American Cancer Society (founded in 1913, the same year the Fed was established), which has existed for 95 years and has yet to find a cure for cancer (which is what the ACS was supposedly established for) – in fact there are more cases of cancer than ever before in history – similarly, the NRA has no vested interest in ending the infringement of the Second Amendment and there are more laws infringing the Second Amendment than at any time during the past seventy-five years.
So, if you are a gun owner and a member of the NRA, I’d have to ask you why you are still a member.

Gun control exists because of taxes. Gun control allows taxation to exist; in order to repeal gun laws (except the Second Amendment), you must first repeal taxes. If the fiscal racketeering still exists, the racketeers’ need to disarm their victims will also exist. Abolishing gun control and abolishing taxes cannot be done separately, they are one and the same thing.
Pack a gun and pay no tax.

The second amendment is not a gun law. It only expresses and reinforces the God given right for all men to be able to defend themselves. The bill of Rights gives us nothing that we already had to begin with. It is only a document reinforcing a well known truth. The Constitution was written primarily to limit the powers of our government, it doesn’t give us any rights.

Boycott Chi-town! Don’t shop there (or anything else), force the shop-owners and business people to join the fight to overturn in exchange for continuing to earn a living. The NRA are wind bags. They have never pursued the repeal of the 1968 Gun Control Act, which is nearly a verbatim copy of the 1938 Nazi Weapons Law, or the 1934 NFA, National Firearms Act. The NFA was passed after the repeal of prohibition in response to lawless organized crime activity which is nearly the same reason used by the Nazi’s under the pretense of controlling rival political gang activity in Germany. The 1968 GCA was was rushed thought Congress much the same way as the bailout bill was last year. It was driven thought because of the murders of both Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy in 1968.
The only significant difference between the 68GCA and the Nazi Law of 1938 was the Nazi’s had required permits, licensing and registrations of weapons included in the language, which later lead to efficient and effective gun confiscation. But the American treasonous Nazi’s knew that they could work on that part of the puzzle to tyranny in legislation later. Now the fascist treasonous Democratic bastards have a majority in Congress and it has been a non stop steady stream of anti gun legislation flowing since the traitor TOOK office and surrounded himself with his like minded fascist’s thugs.
They have surrendered to the bankers and the Democrats will not even support the bill which would begin to question the Federal Reserve HR 1207. Clinton has surrendered eminent domain to the Chinese in payment of foreign debt. While sending trillions to off shore bankers.

You’re probably right on about the NRA. Once you get a big membership base, employees, money, and gain importance to the system, you stand the risk of being compromised. So much of this is just theater. I don’t think our firearms ultimately pose more than an annoyance to the consortium. They will deploy directed energy weapons and Gawd knows what else technology they deem necessary.

I find it so interesting that many people across the world; down through the ages have been blinded into thinking that things like The 2nd Amendment are even an issue that require a piece of paper or book.
Even better that these so called ‘rights’ are something for one to ‘give’ to another

I am not defending gun bans but consider this: Over 150 kids were killed within the last 2 years in Chicago. These politicians who suggest gun bans (or in this case ram it through) aren’t necesarily bad people. Their intent is not to disarm people, pass arbitrary laws, or disrespect the constitution. Obviously, they are doing it for public safety. Too many people think regulations are ALWAYS just arbitrary things to limit freedom instead of seeing them for what they usually are. Not everything is a sinister plot to enslave humanity, people. I guess next year when the stats are out we’ll know for sure. I believe gun bans don’t save liVes. All the criminals and gangsters are still going to get guns some way or another. I think they’ll all find out that crime will not drop with this gun ban. Plus, the way i understood it* maybe i’m wrong- they tried this gun ban thing in DC, it didn’t work, AND eventually the courts ruled it as unconstitutional. Did i get that right? So if it didn’t work and it was unconstitutional why are we still trying it out?

what was that last little bit at the end “let me be clear, you can not go out today if you have a gun and carry it around” what does that mean? As I understand it, I have a right to defend myself and my property any were I may be regardless if I own land or not. This is a gross understanding of the law if legislatures and executive officers aim to restrict gun possession in public places. That seems to be the place where gun possession is of most importance, what a fool one would be should they attempt to enter my home gun or not in a violent manner and un-invited. The inability to Open-Carry in a holster and brandish if need be is a natural right which is not delineated to us by a government, as with all rights, government can not regulate tax reduce or infringe upon. Privileges on the other hand can be regulated, and just to make things clear .. the term regulate back then when it was written, clearly was intended to mean “keep in good working condition” and the term militia has always meant “individual persons with a common defense interest who do not make a living solely from defense” in other words farmers mechanics carpenters artists bakers poets candle stick makers shoe polishers etc.. etc. people of all walks of life not “registered” to give partial equity to the king or common wealth for safe keeping, and not part of the regular army navy air force CIA FBI police force national guard coast guard or any place you would normally expect guns be required.

While I have basically no confidence in the government, I’m pretty sure this gun ban will be overturned given that they overturned the longtime D.C gun ban. I just hope Sotomayor doesn’t screw things up. At any rate, we must stand by the NRA and help them in their fight, this is a fight we should win.
