A newly rediscovered 2006 audio clip has shed more light on Rahm Emanuel and Barack Obama’s plan for compulsory community service and a “national civilian security force”. In an interview with Ben Smith of the New York Daily News, Emanuel outlined the agenda for military-style training, essentially a domestic draft, aimed at preparing Americans for a chemical or biological terrorist attack.

Asked by Smith about the universal service plan and whether people would have to live in military barracks, Emanuel laughed before responding, “We’re going to have universal civil defense training, somewhere between the ages of 18 to 25 you will do three months of training….but there can be nothing wrong with all Americans having a joint similar experience of what we call civil defense training or civil service in service of the country, in preparation, which will give people a sense of what it means to be an American.”
In response to the point that the program was significantly expanded in comparison to what the U.S. government already has in place, Emanuel responded, “Guess what – we have a lot more challenges so we are going to need a lot to do it.”
What challenges is Emanuel referring to? The same crisis foretold by Joe Biden, Colin Powell and others that we are “guaranteed” will unfold shortly after Obama takes office?

“It will be a common experience and we will be prepared, God forbid, God forbid that there is a chemical hit, another terrorist act or natural disaster becoming more frequent – there’ll be a body of citizens who are ready and capable and trained – that’s all you have to think about,” said Emanuel before smugly declaring, “We’re all here for you OK? It’s a circle of love.”
Asked if the training would be military style, with people wearing uniforms, Emanuel stated, “If you’re worried about are you going to have to do 50 jumping jacks the answer is yes,” adding that the service could be done through state national guard.
A jumping jack is a military term for an exercise otherwise known as a star jump. What on earth does Emanuel mean when he says Americans are going to be forced to perform military-style physical exercises and what does this have to do with civil defense or preparing for a terrorist attack? It sounds more like the state-mandated physical workouts described in Orwell’s 1984.
The video then features a clip from C-Span from August 2006 in which Emanuel is asked whether the program will be compulsory, to which he responds, “In a sense it’s required of everybody, 18 to 25, three months, and at some point at that point you do it.”
The use of the word “required” is noteworthy, because this exact terminology was removed from Obama’s change.gov website when controversy over the program arose last week.
The militarized nature of the program and its supposed intention sounds more like a draft-lite than the “community service” angle now being pitched on Obama’s website. It also bears similarities to the nationwide FEMA-run program training pastors and preachers to act as “pacifiers” in the event of martial law being declared after a terror attack or a natural disaster.

Israel has mandatory service of all citzens, male and female, of anyone over age 18 for two or three years(I can’t recall exactly..but for two years at a min) unless they are physically/mentally disqualified.
This “young conscription” for liberals and anyone else against it will be bopught with txapayer dollars if acceptable at all.
I have served in the military and think the worst thing our GVT can do is “force service” on someone who is too stupid to realise they are not free until the hit the wall of reality. That type of person typically becomes “un-American” real fast.
These people need to put major issues such as this on a ballot.
I have noticed that all levels of GVT, local up to Federal avoid putting issues for the people to vote on and wait until elections are over so that they continue to “rule” rather than allow the people a say. California is an initiative state whenre once in a while the people have a say.. and even then the vote is resisted.
Incrementally these people are breaking the back of this nation.

If ever there was a time or an issue that the American people need to unite and raise their voice as one against anything, it is NOW and THIS one. I have two sons, age 16 and 13. and believe me

I am pretty loyal to this site and its message… however I would not be against a 3 month program that all Americans had to go through. I do understand the program would be somewhat militaristic, with training and what not. However, a 3 month mandatory program where EVERYONE senators kids and all would have to go through would be a good thing I think. I think it would be a great common American bond. All Israelies server in the military for 2 years… I think a 3 month program here that taught first aide skills and forced people to team work together and to disipline their bodies for a few months would be good. I am surprised that I do not see some aweful thing in this, but I think it could be good.
I also think that it could boost numbers of people who decided to join the military, after the program some people wouldn’t fear joining the military and may like it.
I am 28, I would have liked an opportunity at the discipline of the military for a test 3 month period… I also think it might make me appreciate our service men more. Like I said… I am loyal to this site and beliefs, please don’t give me a hard time, just think about what I said.

Aren’t these duties for the state to handle? The “regulating” of the militia? Shouldn’t the state be training a militia to handle these types of emergencies? Is Rahm saying that our states aren’t holding up to their end of the bargain? Is Rahm saying that the states should be training militias but aren’t therefore it’s up the the federal government to do? I respect your thoughts on the this subject but I think the most important point is being overlooked in your statements (and others for that matter).
It is irrelevant whether you think forced service is a good idea. It is equally irrelevant that I think it is a bad idea. What is completely relevant is to recognize that there are opposing views, and as long as there is debate on this issue then it should not be forced upon anybody. Even if the majority of people think it is a good idea, no minority should be forced into labor. This is exactly why we do not live in a Democracy (despite what Americans are told). We are a Constitutional Republic, because it would be wrong for %60 of the people to force %40 of the people into labor. I would go as far as to say that it would be wrong for %90 of the people to force %10 of the people into labor. We already have a word for forced service, and it was abolished long ago.
On a side note, I find it interesting that you say you “would have liked an opportunity at the discipline of the military for a test 3 month period.” Please do not take offense, but this displays ignorance of the programs that are available to those who VOLUNTEER to do so. The statement sounds like “Oh, I WOULD do it but, darn it, I’m too old now that I am 28. Shucks, that woulda been great. Oh well”
YOU are the only thing keeping you from voluntarily going into service of any of the available programs right now. Do a quick Google search on volunteer military programs when you are ready to put action in place of your words.

I think this is great idea. i’ve been saying for years that we should be more like israel in the regard that all young people have to serve to give a common identity. This sound like a good idea. If it were up to me i would also make anyone recieveing welfare that is mentally stable do 100 hours of community service every month. Painting bridges fixing pot holes and any other infustructure work that needs to be done. If they are going to get a a welfare or SSI check they should have to work for even if they are sad or whatever they say is wrong with them. I was not a supporter of Obama but if he does these things well that would be real change i could believe in.

This is a great idea. I have always thought the way israel has done it with all young people between 18-25 serve was what we needed. It creates a sense of identity that with all the Ilegal imigration over the last thirty years has been lost. I would hope Obama goes further and creates a civilian work Brigade for mentally stable recepients of Welfare or SSI. They should be forced to do 100 hours of community service a month painting bridges fixing pot holes etc. That would be very cheap labor and it would make me feel better knowing the money in my taxes that goes to these people would be returned visa having a better infustructure. This is change i can believe in

To add a further comment. I will not have my child trained to defend a country where it’s so called “leaders” will retreat to a sfae bunker to wait out the results while the nation sacrifices their lives for them.
I have done my time.. 24 years to be exact.. and I did it for my country… NOT the US GVT…
I waas deludued with this “God and Country” whitewash until I began to really look at the world and history. It is not “john Wayne” and all pretty and proper once you get into the truth.

If you have “mandatory” service .. you cannot have a free country.
When in the military I spent 80% of my tiome dealing with the one or two bad eggs and their problems children attitudes that I should have spent taking care of the needs of my best people.
Such policies are designed to fail from day one. The military nor the country should not be a baby sitting service for anyone’s “children”. That is up to the parents. If the parents are fat and lazy and uninvolved… so be their children.. lest they respect the state more than society who is for the most part doing or will do well if they ever get the GVT programs out of their lives.
In less than 100 years the US has compromised almost every freedom they had as a result of legislation and GVT programs.

The “he” here is the Holy Spirit within the body of believers, and this body shall be taken away before the Antichrist comes

There will be a catching away of believers before the Tribulation hour. “Keep thee from” in the Greek is presented in the context of being taken away from, not preserved through it
Revelation also speaks elsewhere of believers who have been taken away from the Tribulation
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Once again being taken OUT OF Great Tribulation in the Greek is presented in the context of being TAKEN AWAY FROM not preserved through it
The bible also speaks of Jesus returning accompanied by huge numbers of His saints

Now first of all ten thousands doesnt mean 10 000 literally; The Greeks had little understanding of massively large numbers. This was just an easier way of expressing a number that would likely be in the millions. But anyhoo, How can the saints return FROM HEAVEN with Jesus if they werent taken up to be with Him??

To those who are discussing Eschotological theories, I would add one thing. The rapture may not occur at the beginning of the seven year period, it may in fact occur at the mid point of the period or 3 1/2 years after the 7 year period begins. I say this from observation of Mathew Chapter 24 in particular verses 24:29-31 in comparison with Revelation verses 6:12-17 concluding with the re-institution of God’s plan for Israel in Chapter 7 thus concluding the gap describing the time of the Church on earth described in Daniel between the 69th week and 70th week (Daniel 9:24-27).
Why do I think this is important? Since if I am correct then there could be many sufferings during the first 3 1/2 years and if the rapture has not ocurred, then many may lose faith but if this interpretation is remembered then maybe some will realize the pre-tribulation rapture theory held by the evangelical church was not accurate but that God is still in control and has a plan to rescue the Church before His wrath is complelely poured out upon the earth.

People…
I applaud the effort to acknowledge the idea that the elites are controlling our way of life, but having served in this county’s military I know that the experience I had in boot camp truly made me appreciate the basic american things in life.
For example:
My own bedroom
Hot water
Music
Modern Technology
Having the freedom to wear what I want
Choosing what food to eat and having more than 10 minutes to eat
Talking a shower longer than 3min with a quarter sized amount of shampoo to wash
These were just a few example that made me realize how good we have it here in this country. The process of removing those luxuries for a period of only two months really opened my eyes as to how spoiled, selfish, and shallow we are as a people.

Leave it to the kooks at Infowars to twist this into something darker than it really is meant to be. Well lets see here. We have a civilian security force already. It’s called the Militia.
Title 10 USC
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
I’ll put that into english. If you are not in the military, check your wallet if you dont find a military ID card your not in the (b)(1) section. your a civilian thats (b)(2). But your still in the militia. Got it.
Now that that is established. I personally dont have a problem with some form of training. The unorganized militia movement has been doing it for years only underground. If they would like to train and or fund us good. At one time they tried to crush us. Ask Mark Korneke and many many unnamed others that have be imprisoned for their views on this subject. The threat of government tyranny is what started the militia movement both in this modern day and in the past.
There are major questions. that must be answered first.
1) Buy what law do you compel us to participate? Thereby making it mandatory service.
We are a nation of men (women) governed by laws. Show me the law.
2) If it is mandatory service are the participants paid for that service?
3) Are the participants then Federalized and have a future obligation to the Federal Government to perform at the direction and order of some as yet unnamed Bureaucrat.?
4) Where does third group of people fall in the definition of Title 10 USC, are they militia, are they civil defense forces like the Israeli Defense Forces, are they the equivelent to say the Swiss army where they all keep a machine guns at home in the closet.
There are more questions but. If they want to train us (the unorganized militia), equip us, supply us. Fine. But I will remain a part of the unorganized militia and my allegiance is to this country and the protection and defense of the Constitution. People wearing blue hats (UN). No. I dont and wont take orders from anyone in a uniform. Those are my laws. Get use to it.

John Galt #67 – Not to rain on your parade.. But the original intent of the militia was to defend GVT in it’s purpose from the get go. The original US form of GVT under the Articles of Confederation ran into problems and the militia was used to quich those few “rebels” who were but a few years earlier soldiers for the Revolution. The newly established US GVT did not want to pay their debts and worse..taxed those who served the country out of property after NOT paying them for service during the War.
The militia’s loyalty was at times divided.. but the GVT wanted control and the loyalty of a militia to always be in their favor. This country(the US) was tested quite a few times between 1776 and 1778 when a Constitution was finally drafted. The darfting required establishment of a standing Army so as to protect the GVt agenda and compromised States Rights in the process. Our “founding fathers” were as manipulating in their time as any politician today.

I’ve recently noticed that we’re not doing enough to expose the New World Order. I’m a New Zealander, and I’m currently a 17 year-old armchair activist. That’s all going to change in a matter of days – because I’ve paid for an ae911truth banner which is being printed by a local sign-making company. I’m going to get the sign and then hang out around a local University with a couple of friends. More of us need to do this! It’s so damn easy. Forget about having a new computer/tv, forget about gaming, and realize what’s at stake here!
There are truth groups all over America. If you happen to live in America and you are reading this knowing that 9/11 was an inside job, then why aren’t you out there helping? Go to wearechange.org and make a difference by joining your local team. At the very least you should be showing documentaries to your friends/family/co-workers. Try running a movie night – buy pizza or cook something. Make it fun and get the truth out.
Now is the best time to act – let’s make a difference before it’s too late!

I thought this had to be some kind of joke when I first heard, but then I see both Obama and Emanuel on video saying these things. We need people with militairy-style training to save us from a terrorist attack? Sorry but I don’t see any logic in that at all. Besides if there is a terrorist attack, these people will be behind it, so it pisses me off when they act like they are protecting us by doing this. Geez folks. Look, if anyone had really done their homework, they would have noticed that the “militia” is the National Guard. They, my friends, are already federalized. Posse cometatus (sp?) is out the door. They cannot defend us nor do they have replenished resources to. But, remember. This new force the prince is promising is to enforce the plans to force change. The parties are in cahoots on the NWO and it transcends that anyway.
As to mandatory service. Watch the screening process. They will only take the kool-aid drinkers that got the change tattoo. The service people, like me, will be kept busy abroad so we cannot be here to stand up. Make no mistake, GWB and BO are no different is their pursuit of the NWO. They just have different ways of getting us there.
When I see people defending the plan to start this program, or being an apologist for the new army, it makes me sick. This is not about push-ups or training. And JFK did nothing of the sort. This is the circumvention of YOUR rights by force. Hear that? That is the horn of the ship sailing. The fellow who said he would like a 3 month training plan and then back to life. Dude, seriously. In chapter 6 alone, the 4 horseman come. That alone is bad enough.
Then after that, the 6th seal is opened: A great earthquake occurs, the Sun turns black, the moon turns red, stars fall onto the earth, heaven vanishes away, all mountains and isles are moved out of place.
And In Ch 7, the 4 winds are stopped. Then the 12 tribes are sealed.
Then finally we are taken from the world, from great tribulation. Lots of things happen before we are taken up.
And to add: How are we believers in this time any different from the previous ones from time past? Just read the ‘fox’s book of martyres’, to get a small idea of what believers then went thru. It was horrible.
Im not arguing with you, just letting you come to an understanding that we are gonna suffer, unless God takes us away in death before then.
We as christian believers in this nation, have had it better than any other group of christians in history. Our works pail in comparison to even the christians suffering right now in India.
We have it made, but not for long.

Actually, although I agree with everything else in your post, the “militia” is the PEOPLE. Patrick Henry even said that every man should have a gun. The 2nd Amendment is nothing about hunting and EVERYTHING about keeping our government in check. Afterall, the government represents the PEOPLE and no one else. When that government becomes derelict in its duty to represent the people, it is not only our obligation, it is no less our DUTY to abolish and instill new guards for our future prosperity.

Just because it might bring people together from different backgrounds and teach them survival tactics doesn’t mean it isn’t a re-education camp. Do people that come to this site ever pick up a history book or do they just watch the t.v. or look at the net.

To everybody else: Do you believe in the constitution? Then there is no debate over whether this idea is ok or not. It disgusts me that the constitution loving people on this website (myself included), along with the media, and anybody else discussing this with Obama and friends, should glaze over the FACT that it is spelled out in the 13th amendment. Any form of involuntary servitude (by law abiding citizens) is against what our country stands for.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) Short Title- This Act may be cited as the `Universal National Service Act of 2007′.

TITLE II–FAVORABLE TREATMENT OF COMBAT PAY UNDER EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT MADE PERMANENT
Sec. 201. Favorable treatment of combat pay under earned income tax credit made permanent.
TITLE I–NATIONAL SERVICE
SEC. 101. DEFINITIONS.
In this title:
(1) The term `contingency operation’ has the meaning given that term in section 101(a)(13) of title 10, United States Code.
(2) The term `military service’ means service performed as a member of an active or reserve component of the uniformed services.
(3) The term `national service’ means military service or service in a civilian capacity that, as determined by the President, promotes the national defense, including national or community service and service related to homeland security.
(4) The term `Secretary concerned’ means the Secretary of Defense with respect to the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard, the Secretary of Commerce, with respect to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services, with respect to the Public Health Service.
(5) The term `United States’, when used in a geographical sense, means the several States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam.
(6) The term `uniformed services’ means the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, commissioned corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and commissioned corps of the Public Health Service.
SEC. 102. NATIONAL SERVICE OBLIGATION.
(a) Obligation for Service- It is the obligation of every citizen of the United States, and every other person residing in the United States, who is between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform a period of national service as prescribed in this title unless exempted under the provisions of this title.
(b) Forms of National Service- The national service obligation under this title shall be performed either–
(1) as a member of an active or reserve component of the uniformed services; or
(2) in a civilian capacity that, as determined by the President, promotes the national defense, including national or community service and service related to homeland security.
(c) Age Limits- A person may be inducted under this title only if the person has attained the age of 18 and has not attained the age of 42.
SEC. 103. INDUCTION TO PERFORM NATIONAL SERVICE.
(a) Induction Requirements- The President shall provide for the induction of persons described in section 102(a) to perform their national service obligation.
(b) Limitation on Induction for Military Service- Persons described in section 102(a) may be inducted to perform military service only if–
(1) a declaration of war is in effect;
(2) the President declares a national emergency, which the President determines necessitates the induction of persons to perform military service, and immediately informs Congress of the reasons for the declaration and the need to induct persons for military service; or
(3) members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps are engaged in a contingency operation pursuant to a congressional authorization for the use of military force.
(c) Limitation on Number of Persons Inducted for Military Service- When the induction of persons for military service is authorized by subsection (b), the President shall determine the number of persons described in section 102(a) whose national service obligation is to be satisfied through military service based on–
(1) the authorized end strengths of the uniformed services; and
(2) the feasibility of the uniformed services to recruit sufficient volunteers to achieve such end-strength levels.
(3) provide a mechanism for the random selection of persons to be inducted to perform military service.
(d) Selection for Induction-
(1) RANDOM SELECTION FOR MILITARY SERVICE- When the induction of persons for military service is authorized by subsection (b), the President shall utilize a mechanism for the random selection of persons to be inducted to perform military service.
(2) CIVILIAN SERVICE- Persons described in section 102(a) who do not volunteer to perform military service or are not inducted for military service shall perform their national service obligation in a civilian capacity pursuant to section 102(b)(2).
(e) Voluntary Service- A person subject to induction under this title may–
(1) volunteer to perform national service in lieu of being inducted; or
(2) request permission to be inducted at a time other than the time at which the person is otherwise called for induction.
SEC. 104. TWO-YEAR PERIOD OF NATIONAL SERVICE.
(a) General Rule- Except as otherwise provided in this section, the period of national service performed by a person under this title shall be two years.
(b) Grounds for Extension- At the discretion of the President, the period of military service for a member of the uniformed services under this title may be extended–
(1) with the consent of the member, for the purpose of furnishing hospitalization, medical, or surgical care for injury or illness incurred in line of duty; or
(2) for the purpose of requiring the member to compensate for any time lost to training for any cause.
(c) Early Termination- The period of national service for a person under this title shall be terminated before the end of such period under the following circumstances:
(1) The voluntary enlistment and active service of the person in an active or reserve component of the uniformed services for a period of at least two years, in which case the period of basic military training and education actually served by the person shall be counted toward the term of enlistment.
(2) The admission and service of the person as a cadet or midshipman at the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, or the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
(3) The enrollment and service of the person in an officer candidate program, if the person has signed an agreement to accept a Reserve commission in the appropriate service with an obligation to serve on active duty if such a commission is offered upon completion of the program.
(4) Such other grounds as the President may establish.
SEC. 105. IMPLEMENTATION BY THE PRESIDENT.
(a) In General- The President shall prescribe such regulations as are necessary to carry out this title.
(b) Matter to Be Covered by Regulations- Such regulations shall include specification of the following:
(1) The types of civilian service that may be performed in order for a person to satisfy the person’s national service obligation under this title.
(2) Standards for satisfactory performance of civilian service and of penalties for failure to perform civilian service satisfactorily.
(3) The manner in which persons shall be selected for induction under this title, including the manner in which those selected will be notified of such selection.
(4) All other administrative matters in connection with the induction of persons under this title and the registration, examination, and classification of such persons.
(5) A means to determine questions or claims with respect to inclusion for, or exemption or deferment from induction under this title, including questions of conscientious objection.
(6) Standards for compensation and benefits for persons performing their national service obligation under this title through civilian service.
(7) Such other matters as the President determines necessary to carry out this title.
(c) Use of Prior Act- To the extent determined appropriate by the President, the President may use for purposes of this title the procedures provided in the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App. 451 et seq.), including procedures for registration, selection, and induction.
SEC. 106. EXAMINATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PERSONS.
(a) Examination- Every person subject to induction under this title shall, before induction, be physically and mentally examined and shall be classified as to fitness to perform national service.
(b) Different Classification Standards- The President may apply different classification standards for fitness for military service and fitness for civilian service.
SEC. 107. DEFERMENTS AND POSTPONEMENTS.
(a) High School Students- A person who is pursuing a standard course of study, on a full-time basis, in a secondary school or similar institution of learning shall be entitled to have induction under this title postponed until the person–
(1) obtains a high school diploma;
(2) ceases to pursue satisfactorily such course of study; or
(3) attains the age of 20.
(b) Hardship and Disability- Deferments from national service under this title may be made for–
(1) extreme hardship; or
(2) physical or mental disability.
(c) Training Capacity- The President may postpone or suspend the induction of persons for military service under this title as necessary to limit the number of persons receiving basic military training and education to the maximum number that can be adequately trained.
(d) Termination- No deferment or postponement of induction under this title shall continue after the cause of such deferment or postponement ceases.
SEC. 108. INDUCTION EXEMPTIONS.
(a) Qualifications- No person may be inducted for military service under this title unless the person is acceptable to the Secretary concerned for training and meets the same health and physical qualifications applicable under section 505 of title 10, United States Code, to persons seeking original enlistment in a regular component of the Armed Forces.
(b) Other Military Service- No person shall be liable for induction under this title who–
(1) is serving, or has served honorably for at least six months, in any component of the uniformed services on active duty; or
(2) is or becomes a cadet or midshipman at the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, a midshipman of a Navy accredited State maritime academy, a member of the Senior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, or the naval aviation college program, so long as that person satisfactorily continues in and completes at least two years training therein.
SEC. 109. CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION.
(a) Claims as Conscientious Objector- Nothing in this title shall be construed to require a person to be subject to combatant training and service in the uniformed services, if that person, by reason of sincerely held moral, ethical, or religious beliefs, is conscientiously opposed to participation in war in any form.
(b) Alternative Noncombatant or Civilian Service- A person who claims exemption from combatant training and service under subsection (a) and whose claim is sustained by the local board shall–
(1) be assigned to noncombatant service (as defined by the President), if the person is inducted into the uniformed services; or
(2) be ordered by the local board, if found to be conscientiously opposed to participation in such noncombatant service, to perform national civilian service for the period specified in section 104(a) and subject to such regulations as the President may prescribe.
SEC. 110. DISCHARGE FOLLOWING NATIONAL SERVICE.
(a) Discharge- Upon completion or termination of the obligation to perform national service under this title, a person shall be discharged from the uniformed services or from civilian service, as the case may be, and shall not be subject to any further service under this title.
(b) Coordination With Other Authorities- Nothing in this section shall limit or prohibit the call to active service in the uniformed services of any person who is a member of a regular or reserve component of the uniformed services.
SEC. 111. REGISTRATION OF FEMALES UNDER THE MILITARY SELECTIVE SERVICE ACT.
(a) Registration Required- Section 3(a) of the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. 453(a)) is amended–
(1) by striking `male’ both places it appears;
(2) by inserting `or herself’ after `himself’; and
(3) by striking `he’ and inserting `the person’.
(b) Conforming Amendment- Section 16(a) of the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App. 466(a)) is amended by striking `men’ and inserting `persons’.
SEC. 112. RELATION OF TITLE TO REGISTRATION AND INDUCTION AUTHORITY OF MILITARY SELECTIVE SERVICE ACT.
(a) Registration- Section 4 of the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App. 454) is amended by inserting after subsection (g) the following new subsection:
`(h) This section does not apply with respect to the induction of persons into the Armed Forces pursuant to the Universal National Service Act of 2007.’.
(b) Induction- Section 17(c) of the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App. 467(c)) is amended by striking `now or hereafter’ and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting `inducted pursuant to the Universal National Service Act of 2007.’.
TITLE II–FAVORABLE TREATMENT OF COMBAT PAY UNDER EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT MADE PERMANENT
SEC. 201. FAVORABLE TREATMENT OF COMBAT PAY UNDER EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT MADE PERMANENT.
(a) In General- Clause (vi) of section 32(c)(2)(B) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (defining earned income) is amended to read as follows:
`(vi) a taxpayer may elect for any taxable year to treat amounts excluded from gross income by reason of section 112 as earned income.’.
(b) Effective Date- The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to taxable years ending after December 31, 2006.

Is anyone aware of the military programs in places like Norway with mandatory service contracts with everyone between the ages of 18-25? It sounds exaclty like that but unfortunetly those people are all basically drafted and expected to serve after their training in a time of crisis. I would not get bogged down in this policy, as it is nowhere near serious implementation or discussion. In the meantime, keep spreading the message to your family and friends about foreign policy and the monetary system, like UN, NATO, Israel, and the Fed Reserve. It doesn’t matter one wit whether this program is “civilian sturmtroopen” or if it’s just a jaunt through a few towns cleaning roads, and doing busy work. It’s un-American. At our very core we are a nation of volunteers. Choice is American. I am young enough, they might try to get me in such a program. I will refuse. Jones claims to be “objective” yet it was obvious he supported McCain during the presidential race. There were four times the amount of attacks on Obama than on McCain. He had an easy 8 years attacking the neo-cons, which is why he is panicking and attacking Obama any opportunity he gets, because without an “enemy” there IS NO INFOWARS.COM. Keeping on topic for a bit simply having a draft isnt really a very opressive measure in my opinion. In fact a draft military is far less damaging than a professional army, if whats happened in the states is anything to judge by, since the size and power of the army can be scaled depending on circumstances.
I myself spent 1 year as a draftee in the Norwegian army and didnt feel it as opressive (it was cold, lonely and exhausting but not opressive). For someone from an urban background its even a good opportunity to learn how to operate and maintain firearms properly.
