Obama Approval Drops 5 Percent to New Low Since Pro-Abortion Health Care Law

A new CBS News poll shows President Barack Obama’s approval rating dropped 5 percent since he signed the pro-abortion health care bill into law. The CBS poll has him at a new low of 44 percent and a news Rasmussen poll has Obama down to a 46 percent approval rating.

Those numbers could explain why Obama is getting testy with reporters who are asking him about the low polling numbers for his approval and that of the pro-abortion health care program.

The latest CBS News Poll, conducted between March 29 and April 1, found Americans unhappier than ever with Obama and health care.

While 44 percent of Americans approval of Obama’s performance, 41 percent disapprove — down five percent since he signed the bill and down 24 percent since his high last April.

When it comes to health care, just 34 percent of Americans approve compared with 55 percent who do not.
