President Obama, in a pivot from some of his harshest campaign rhetoric, told Democratic senators yesterday that he is willing to consider taxing employer-sponsored health benefits to help pay for a broad expansion of coverage.
Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) said Obama expressed a willingness to consider changing the existing tax exclusion. The decision would probably anger liberal supporters such as labor unions, but such a tax change would raise enormous sums of money as Congress and the White House are struggling to find the estimated $1.2 trillion needed to pay for health-care reform over the next decade.

And in the coming decades when we look back, people will praise him if he gets us out of debt, despite his tactics to get there. Sad to see my state senator in the article, but he and Obama are both part of a very crafty con artist group called the federal government. Just like Bush did with big oil by making everyone pay more for gas, Obama is increasing everyone’s taxes and redefining what is taxable. Of course, if you plan to run for public office, you don’t need to pay your taxes, so his friends are safe.

If Obama taxes my health benefits, then I won’t be able to keep them. I’ll have to tell my employer to keep the health insurance because I won’t be able to pay the taxes on it. This must be Obama’s plan. He knows very well that Americans can’t afford to pay for health insurance, and he knows that we can’t afford to pay taxes on it either. Once we all dump our health insurance because we can’t afford to keep it, that’s when he’ll swoop down with his plan for socialized healthcare.

What’s worse is that this will change the status of benifits and covereage to a ‘taxable asset’.
In other words, the benifits were to cover the costs of future health-care bills no matter what their cost but now your benifits will be caculated and placed upon it a monetary ‘value’ at the time you received those benefits.
This is all happening right before Bernanke today is explicitly warning of hyper-inflation that is sure to come.
Folks, Obama and these banksters have to be STOPPED at all costs.

What confuses me about this guy (obama) is that he always seems so genuine and concerned with the interests of the people, as if the people were his priority. It seems as if he wants to save money by reforming health care but theres so much beneath the surface and so many hidden agendas that I just end up confused by his charisma and diction.
