Obama Demands Children Spend More Time in State Indoctrination Centers

It’s not enough the government has its hooks in America’s children most of the year. Now Obama wants to do away with summer vacation and have children spend more time in the government’s indoctrination centers.




Barack and Michelle Obama have their children in a private school that caters to the elite.

“Obama says American kids spend too little time in school, putting them at a disadvantage with other students around the globe,” reports the Associated Press. “Now, I know longer school days and school years are not wildly popular ideas,” the president said earlier this year. “Not with Malia and Sasha, not in my family, and probably not in yours. But the challenges of a new century demand more time in the classroom.”

It’s interesting Obama would use his kids to make a point about children around the country in public schools. Obama’s kids attend Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., a private school that charges $29,000 a year in tuition. Theodore Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton sent their children to Sidwell. Vice President Al Gore’s son, Albert Gore III, also graduated from Sidwell Friends. It’s an exclusive school that prepares the children of the elite to lord over the rest of us.

In addition to eliminating summer vacation, the government wants to increase the hours kids spend in government indoctrination camps every day.

Obama and Education Secretary Arne Duncan told the AP kids need to be in school and away from their parents more because of dismal academic performance.

In fact, as H. L. Mencken noted in 1924, compulsory education is not about test scores and academics — it’s about state control of children. Mencken said the aim of public education is not “to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence…. Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim … is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States… and that is its aim everywhere else.”

Former teacher John Taylor Gatto explains that the purpose of so-called public education is to teach children to follow orders and not question authority. Public education is about undermining the autonomy of the family.

“Institutional leaders have come to regard themselves as great synthetic Fathers to millions of synthetic Children, by which, I mean, to all of us. This theory sees us bound together in some abstract family relationship in which the State is the true Mother and Father, hence it insists on our first and best loyalty,” writes Gatto in his essay, We Need Less School, Not More.

John Taylor Gatto, a retired school teacher, talks about the real purpose of public eduction — state controlled consciousness.

In a review of Gatto’s book, Dumbing Us Down, Ron Miller writes that the crux of Gatto’s critique is that

in the past 125 years, social engineers have sought to keep American life under tight central control. Compulsory schooling is a deliberate effort to establish intellectual, economic, and political conformity so that society can be managed efficiently by a technocratic elite. “School,” claims Gatto, “Is an artifice that makes …. a pyramidal social order seem inevitable, although such a premise is a fundamental betrayal of the American Revolution.” Along with the media — especially television, which Gatto criticizes harshly in another essay — schooling removes young people from any genuine experience of community, any genuine engagement with the world or immersion in lasting relationships. It robs them of solitude and privacy. Yet these experiences are what enable us to develop self-knowledge and to grow up “fully human,” argues Gatto, and he asserts that our most troubling social pathologies, such as drug abuse and violence, are the natural reaction of human lives subjected to mechanical, abstract discipline.

As a social engineer for the global elite, Education Secretary Arne Duncan wants to place state indoctrination at the very center of society. “Aside from improving academic performance, Education Secretary Duncan has a vision of schools as the heart of the community,” the AP reports.

Obama’s message is clear — the state owns your children and now demands they spend more time in dangerous and often violent indoctrination centers that teach them not only how to become obedient robots and docile workers on the global slave plantation, but also teaches them about sex, suicide, and situational ethics instead of rational and independent thought.

Howdy from the bottom of the barrel, Public schools came in handy when I was a little one, it was like a great block of refuge from the roaming packs of stray vicious dogs that had eluded the animal control and were on the prowl for tender easy meat, it was also a warm fortress in the winter when the big kids from nearby jr. and high schools would pack a mean ice ball and bloody the heads of us little kids. The lunch program was good to me, even though I’m sure you upstanding rich people frown down upon feeding the scummy poor, it kept me alive for what I’m worth. You’re lunch investment has paid off in the hours, days, weeks, months, years, that I have smilingly served and obeyed and toiled in your filth to pay it all back to you so you can vacation in europe while mocking my fat stupid lazy ways. The baby Jesus worshiped by the Magi
Matthew 2:11: “On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.”

Along with being led to the site where Jesus was born, these Magi were apparently informed by God about Jesus’ divine identity, and so they responded appropriately by worshiping Him.

Jesus accepted worship from His disciples
Matthew 14:32-33: “And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’”

In a Jewish culture, only the one true God can be worshiped; their actions show that they acknowledged Jesus as being divine. And Jesus didn’t correct them or say, “Don’t you realize that I’m just a mortal prophet? Stop worshiping me!” Rather, He accepted their worship, knowing He really was God in human flesh.

Jesus’ claim about Himself
John 8:58-59: “‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.”

This is a powerful double claim from Jesus: first, that He pre-existed His human birth and was actually alive and present (as God) before Abraham; second, that His title was “I am” — which was the same title used for Jehovah God in Exodus 3:14. His listeners again got the point, and picked up stones to execute Him!

Another of Jesus’ claims of deity
John 10:30-33: “‘I and the Father are one.’ Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, ‘I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?’ ‘We are not stoning you for any of these,’ replied the Jews, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.’”

It couldn’t be clearer than it is here: Jesus’ highly educated listeners understood His claim of deity. They only had two possible responses: to humble themselves and bow before Him as the Magi and the disciples had done earlier, or reject His claim and judge Him as a blasphemer. Unfortunately they chose the latter option. But notice that Jesus doesn’t argue with their accusation, because it was accurate. He really was claiming to be God!

Thomas’ response to the resurrected Jesus

child indoc will always occur as long as we are in this two party system. One mindset is in power then the other so on and so forth.

Seperate the two mindsets and what do you have. Nothing. No difference which is equally as bad. As long as people criminalize the next guy then we will always have a problem. SO lets look at what we want to teach our kids huh.

2. How to become good productive citizens of society.

The less influence the state has over education the better. Although we must also be careful of private companies setting up so called ‘academies’ they have the potential to be equally dangerous if not more so!

The Steiner education system is one of the few left that separates itself from the state and private interests. If more people went to a steiner-esque school we would certainly not see the degradation of socirty through the manipulation of children to the same degree.

I fear that the privatization of schools will happen, much like it has already happened in the prison system and the American University system. The arts and humanities, formerly the backbone of the university experience, has been systematically denegrated in stature as America’s post high school education has become more streamlined to fit a corporate structure.

For example, look at most any major university. The newest, most expensive, and expansive buildings and programs on univeristies are dedicated to entreprenuership, business, science, computer and information sciences. This is because this model of providing education brings in sponsorship from big business for the universities themselves, providing a much more expansive income stream. In return, the universities offer the most funding towards these programs to lure in new students in a cyclical manner. Universities are continually partnering with businesses by sponsoring career fairs, colloquia, and lectures on campuses.

And those who do not go to the new Ameriican technical universities? Well, there are more people working in the service industry in America than any other, including manufacturing.

Obama is trying to educate our children to utilize their intelligence to be on par with the rest of the world who attend class up to a third more school that our own children. But, more time in school is no the answer!

I do not believe that more schooling is necessary, but a revamped education system that focuses on efficient teaching while in the classroom is absolutely necessary. There is a lot of wasted time in the public education system through classes that are offered. Some classes, especially at the high school level, attempt to mirror the choice of electives at the college level. These classes are often not necessary and function to waste a students time. If a student wants to take a pottery class, or a sports fiction class, they should not be offered at the same time as the cores of math, english, and sciences; in fact, they should be offered on weekends or after school for students who wish to take them.

American students, in comparison to Europe, for example, are not taught to think. Philosophy is part of most european curriculums. Most US schools do not incorporate foreign lanugueges into an education until the high school years whereas other countries start from kindergarten when a child is most able to learn a new language.

In India, children have languages shoved down their throat from an early age. They also excel in math and sciences because that is their focus.

What it boils down to is that there are a lot of inefficiencies in the american education system. We do not need more time in school, but a reorganization of what classes are offered to our children while they are attending school.

Kid’s need less school not more!! I teach my children in the home spending anywhere from 1-3 hrs. The more they learn reading skills the less they need me. They certainly do not need a state run system. Please everyone read about John Taylor Gatto and check the video above. He is so wise and hits the nail right on the head. I have a wonderful 10-year old son, who does very well in his public school. Beyond that, he will soon have his 1st degree black belt in a very specialized martial art and he has been brought up to question EVERYTHING that is taught to him in school and by the United States government. One of the tenants of his martial art is: Loyalty to One’s Country. His martial arts instructor makes sure to differentiate that there is a difference between having loyalty to one’s country and loyalty to one’s government. In fact, often time’s to be loyal to one’s country, one must also be disloyal to one’s government.

Is it no wonder the defender’s of our own constitution are warned to protect that constitution from enemies both “foreign” and “domestic”. It is obvious to many, including many within our military, governmental, and martial communities that we now have “domestic” enemies to our constitution. Nationwide, the people are uniting.

I have a dream I wanted to share. Dream: I was visiting my parents in America. While on a boat ride during a day out I came across certain people who gave me a bag which I knew they had risked their lives for. When I got home I opened the bag. Inside was an envelope and some other things. I looked at the envelope and was very scared. I did not want to open it. On the outside of the envelope was written “Not delivered by US Mail” and in very bold letters “SOMETHING IS COMING”. I understood the US mail to mean that this info is not delivered to every American household.
I did not want to open the letter and I thought if I put it away I won’t have to worry about it. Later I came into the room and found the envelope open. I was very upset and looked at the contents. Inside were pictures of men I knew to be terrorists. There were many photos showing them infiltrating different areas of America. Also inside the envelope was a bomb. I wanted to throw it away because I knew it to be deadly. A few minutes later there was a terrible noise and I looked outside. I saw the “Fire in the Sky”. It was terrible. Many were running inside to hide. Many were burnt to death, martyred. My family and I ran inside but we didn’t know where in the house to hide. Suddenly men appeared (the terrorists) and we were told to go with them.
People were beaten if they resisted, women were raped, husbands died defending their wives. (PS the men were not of middle eastern descent)

I am not a fan of Obama but I agree with him on this one. More school is better in my opinion. Although I do think that the school system needs to be decentralized and it needs to be reformed. Too much emphasis is placed on mindless repitition in schools. Schools have become indoctrination centers but if people are going to fight the new world order they will need to get good educations so they can occupy poitions in society that help them fight the nwo. I’m a single mother who has chosen to send my child to private school. The cost factor isn’t really a consideration because I choose to make my son my top priority. A lot of issues with today’s school systems is that parents don’t really take their roles as PARENTS seriously and are too lazy to come up with solutions. Get your kids away from a t.v. screen and read a book to them. Go to a library. Play outside so they don’t have cellulite before they even enter puberty. It’s not just the education system that needs fixing. KUDOS to you-Audit the Government!!! My child was privately educated as well. All of her friends come from good homes and were NEVER in any major trouble throughout their childhood/adolecense. There were times when we had NO IDEA how we would come up with the tuition, but God always found a way for us. And yes, we spent a great deal of time with her while she was growing up.

It does not take 12 years to learn the fundamentals of grade school education.

You should see the new sports stadium that is being built in my home county here in Texas. This is what education is all about, mindless sports and how to be a homosexual. Now I enjoy a good high school football game but where the hell have our priorities gone? This new stadium is comparable to a large university sports complex and cost millions of dollars.
We should take back our locally owned public schools and get off the Federal money grab. I would urge all people to run for a position on their school board. This will be the first step in winning this war. When we can once again compete on a local level instead of an international level and then America will rise again. This will once again instill the spirit of independance in our kids and communities all across the nation.

Yes – most actual academic work is done as homework. During typical junior/senior high school classes, at least half the time is spent with students gossiping, or the teacher slowly lets each student do a 5 minute presentation on a topic etc. Then you have gym, some sort of weak business class like DECA, etc and very little of the time was spent reading or doing science or math problems.
the academic-track high schools in Germany, classes are shorter with more intense focus, and school gets out at 1, then the students go do homework and sports at private clubs. Subjects like physics or foreign language are done twice a week over several years so they don’t just forget it all

All this banter is very interesting. I have an 11 year old son and two teenaged daughters. I have chosen to allow them to attend the public education camps. I subsequently and actively debrief them. Its amazing how the mind of a child can sort out truth from lies even when those lies have been told to him over and over. …if they get to hear it. Do not fear the public schools. There is a reason they can’t win. The truth shall set you free and you shall then be free indeed. The truth is a rampant infection once it is let loose. Use the public schools are a tool. I use them to get the information then I converse with my children about the truth. I continually infect them with the knowledge of truth. I also tell my children that people in public schools are often ignorant of the truth. Once you warn a child that people like to lie to them, they start questioning everything. I’ve come to realize that you can let your kids go to public schools and you can fight back. Home schoolers! You do a wonderful job, however, your kids don’t know how to handle the lies. Be sure and teach them the truth about how our government and our system lie to them to control them. Truth is the enemy of evil and truth always wins in the end.

Everyone, do not try to oppose the regime. We cannot. Its power is immense. It is with that power that it contains that we shall defeat it. Draw your power from the demon, turn it back upon him. Use his system, his power against himself. Do not try to shield yourself from the artillery of your enemy! Steal his artillery, turn it around and make him wish he had never been born.

So many things to learn, so many ways to learn. I found school taught me much useful lessons (well, FORCED me to LEARN useful lessons) but also many USELESS information too. The pro-state bias of most teachers was extroadinary – a few did sow the seed of doubt and turned critical thinking onto the education & political system – I thank those teachers. We need more mildly ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT teachers.

I love that last line, “become obedient robots and docile workers on the global slave plantation, but also teaches them about sex, suicide, and situational ethics instead of rational and independent thought.”

It’s funny, as a teacher, perhaps I wouldn’t know the education system because “i’m just another drone” but since the beginning days of my teacher training until now, it has been centered on ONE central ideal; TO CREATE LIFE LONG LEARNERS. I have NEVER been shown any evidence from the top of the bureaucracy all the way to the bottom that there is a scheme to create slave working students. In fact, if you looked at the current head of education, you would note that the goal is to close the far-to-wide achievement gap in this country.

At this time, all education is being centered in a direction in which I feel confident and affirmed in teaching; to THINK for yourself and to have a choice in what you want to do with your lives.

I don’t love the bureaucracy, and I often find it making ridiculous and sometimes unwise choices, just like HUMANS do, but I don’t claim their mistakes as a plot, but as a dumbass choice.

Maybe the writer of this article should have actually studied current education before they started claiming that we don’t teach rational thought, because that’s all i’ve EVER been trained to do and all I will do until I retire.

Thank you! I am a teacher as well, and all this nonsense about schools being “camps” is deranged. Not everyone can afford to send a child to a private school, or have the luxury of homeschooling. The public system isn’t perfect (nothing is) but its the best chance a child has to learn. Honestly the writer of this article has such a bizarre agenda, it defies description. To call the school system an “indoctrination camp” is to deride the honest efforts of thousands of genuine, caring teachers who try to help kids get ahead,

I agree. This whole indoctrination camp garbage is an extreme exaggeration in my opinion. I went to public schools and I’m not a brainwashed sheep. I know exactly what is going on in this world and my family life at home was informative enough to give me common sense, so that I would realize unlike most people on here that NOTHING short of a REVOLUTION will stop what is coming. Just skimmed through some of the pages of her book. The last pages explains two different methods of teaching. 1) The traditional way – example: The teacher would tell you to “read chapter 3 of George Washington and we will have a test on it tomorrow.”

The way they teach now is called “Direct Teaching,” where the teacher will tell you to “read chapter 3 of George Washington and we will have a test about his horse.” They tell you exactly what is on the test. Amazing!

The book also stated that a kid learning the traditional way may get an 85% on a test and the
student who learned through direct learning may get a 95 or 100%. But the student with the 85% actually learned more than the other student.

This is scary because right now I have two kids in public school, now I am seriously reconsidering. I have always taught them to question everything, acedemics before sports, and an education is very important in this life. Even now some jobs require technical, vocational, or college education, I don’t want my kids working fast food or busting their hump for barely minimum wage. I do have to say that I’m proud of both of them because I have always read to them and showed interests in what is being taught to them at school. My oldest is eleven and can draw all fifty states accurately and place capitals in the right location (been doing this since 5), draw most national interstates free handed, and watches the weather channel instead of cartoons. Maybe according to Psychiatrists he is abnormal but I believe what some one else said that posted before, “school is what you make it”, so if a person wants to conform to what the government wants then they will, if a person is challenged to think outside the box then they will be a free thinker.
One thing I don’t understand is the schools around my area are always asking for more money and wanting to cut a program (usually arts, but hey who needs to learn spanish right?). And does any one else’s school always have fundraisers that the school is sending home with the kids? I don’t buy into this because I believe that if the school is hurting that bad then maybe the district should look into charging parents for non acedemic activities. Such as the parents who wants their son to be Johnny football hero and live their dreams through their kids.

This is Sad! America the Land of Freedom! Freedom in a Cell. It doesn’t matter if the Cell is 10 square inches, 1000 square inches or a million square inches. A prison is a prison regardless the Size! America is a Big Prison where everybody and everything is controlled. In Jail you follow a day-schedule. In your so-called real Life you must follow a schedule. You must not think, not act as individual, and not cross the lines or boundaries they have invisibly installed. And the Irony is that in the 80’s or early 90’s (if I remember correct) various movies had Scenarios of todays situations, like Martial Law in the US, or total Mass Control via Media. I just finished high school 2 years ago… I didn’t wake up till i was a junior. The entire time even in elementary i hated school with a passion. Most peoples excuse of why they think school is good usually is the meeting people factor. But before they taught people not to talk to strangers that wasn’t a problem. I look back at school as the dark years of my life, brainwash.

Compulsory education started in Massachusetts in the 1850’s by their state laws. By that time, the Catholic educational system was also off the ground in the cities and they favored compulsory education as they did in Nazi Germany to control the minds of the young ones, and disconnect the parents from influencing their own kids. If you study the Catholic educational system, it has no one to compare with as it is the complete indoctrination of their polluted version of Christianity as in is ancient Babylonianism and ancient Egyptian cult worship that goes back to Nimrod, the first empire cult leader that demanded the worship of things and man himself. Wake up folks! The public educational system is unconstitutional (nowhere in the US Constitution does it say the state should brainwash your kids. It is the parents responsibility according to the Bible and the primary text book should be the Holy Bible, God’s own words and teachings. The Catholic Church controls DC and every government their involved with. For goodness sake, see how Washington has a direct government representative to the Vatican. Whats that all about????
