Hollywood icon Charlie Sheen is being accused of racism for making a joke about President Obama and Kenya despite the president making a nearly identical joke during Saturday’s Gridiron Club dinner.

ObamaKenyaJoke

Taking shots at potential Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker, Obama joked that he originally left Kenya due to his love for the United States.

“Governor Walker got some heat for staying silent when Rudy Giuliani said I don’t love America — which I also think is a problem,” Obama said. “Think about it, Scott — if I did not love America, I wouldn’t have moved here from Kenya.”

Making the exact same Joke, Sheen criticized Obama for spending more time on NCAA bracket picks instead of attending funerals of dead U.S. soldiers.

Sheen was immediately accused of “racism” by politically correct-obsessed outlet The Daily Beast.

“Yes, that is Sheen calling him ‘Barry Satera Kenya,’ and accusing Obama of failing to attend a soldier’s funeral,” The Daily Beast wrote in an article entitled, “Charlie Sheen’s Racist Obama Rant: ‘Barry Satera Kenya.’”

The attempted character-assassination of Sheen is unsurprising given the double standard afforded to the president when it comes to comedic satire.
