I would have to agree with Obama here. We should legalize those who are here illegally as long as they are working class people who don’t break laws, that way we don’t have to pay for their public services. All the rest of illegals in prison should be immediately deported or anyone else that breaks the law, and the borders should be completely locked down securely. I see this as the only reasonable measure when you consider all the working families we have in this country that are illegal. Millions of immigrants is waay too much to deport and would be far more expensive then making them tax-paying citizens.

Something just occurred to me. The illegals are more free than the legal citizens. They aren’t following the laws of the land and they are – for the most part – getting away with it. They aren’t kow-towing to oppressive laws. Maybe we could learn something from that?

No, the right to medical care is NOT guaranteed. Compassion is what gives a person medical care when they don’t have the money to pay for it. The Good Samaritan is the model for that.
Insurance is through the roof. If people paid into a bank account when they were healthy, they’d have the money when they got sick. If our legal system would stop the bogus lawsuits (not the legit ones), then again, doctors wouldn’t be forced into paying exorbitant rates for malpractice insurance. That alone keeps them from being rich as most people imagine doctors to be. If they go into practice expecting a lavish lifestyle, then they should know to choose another profession. They burn out rather quickly if their motive is not truly to help people get and stay well. It’s not a pretty picture, what most doctors today are experiencing. If not for government-regulated, screwed-up legislative practices in the first place, we wouldn’t be in the shape we are. Physicians would have to self-regulate based on what people were able to pay. And most do anyway – at least the ones I know. Greed has ruined this country.

The one part about the health care speech by Obama is that “for those people who cannot afford the mandatory health care, they will be given a waiver to receive health care anyway”. In other words, the middle class pays for the 30 million illegals health care. I lived in So Cal. We knew Mexican Americans out there. They all laughed about the WIC, and food stamps and rent assistance and free public education (with free school lunches) the illegals were getting due to their anchor babies. Once they got a SS card for the baby, they would check, “Father Deceased” which would give them a few hundred more dollars. These folks ain’t stupid. They know how to get free shit. You people have no idea the depth of this thing. There’s no reason to legalize these people. They actually are better off being off the grid. Jasbahadur “J.B.” Rai worked for 10 years to bring his children to the United States.
Once they arrived, he only had a little more than two months with them.
On Jan. 6, Rai, a 48-year-old convenience store clerk, was repeatedly stabbed inside the TL Food store on East Lancaster Avenue by Leonard Junior Coulter, a drug addict in need of money for his next fix. Rai, a native of Nepal who had just become a U.S. citizen seven months before, died that same morning at a Fort Worth hospital.
On Friday, Coulter, 47, entered into a plea agreement to ensure that he would not stand trial for capital murder, which could have resulted in a death sentence. Instead, Coulter pleaded guilty to murder in exchange for a life sentence.
During the sentencing hearing before state District Judge Wayne Salvant, Coulter also pleaded guilty in exchange for life sentences to seven charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon for a string of business robberies he committed in a one-month span leading up to Rai’s murder. All of the sentences will run concurrently.
Prosecutor Greg Miller pointed out to Coulter that he only agreed to defense attorney Timmie White’s request for the plea agreement because of Coulter’s age. Coulter must serve 30 years before he becomes eligible for parole.
“You’ve been in prison before, and while I suppose it’s possible you could live to the age of 77 in prison . . . that’s not really likely, is it?” Miller asked Coulter.
“No, sir,” Coulter, dressed in a green jail jumpsuit, answered solemnly.
Rai’s widow, Toukta Rai, took the stand to describe to Coulter the loss he had caused her and her family. She said her husband would have helped him that January morning, had he only asked.
“My husband had only 2 1/2 months to get to know his children when he brought them here and he never got to see them grow up like young adults,” Toukta Rai said. “He worked for 10 years to get them here from Nepal. Because of your selfish action, he is no longer with us. It is not right that you killed my husband just for your own pleasure of getting high.”

After his father’s death, David Rai began to fulfill his father’s dream of attending college with the help of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, whose members paid for his first semester’s tuition at Navarro Community College.
But he also found himself having to support himself and his sister.
“It was difficult, but I had to do it. I had no way to overcome it,” he said.
The pair lived with a cousin in Venus. David Rai began working at an electronics store and had just started a second job at a gas station when he received a phone call from Texas Wesleyan offering him a four-year scholarship.
Through the university and additional help from Meadowbrook United Methodist, Rai began classes at the college last month. He now lives in a campus dormitory, where he also works as a desk assistant. He is majoring in computer science.
David Rai said he is touched by the support of one-time strangers whom he now considers like family.
“I’m so thankful for them. I don’t know how to thank them,” David Rai said. “What they have done is just too much for me. I don’t have words to explain how I feel about them.”
He said he believes that he has emerged from his father’s death a stronger person.
“What I feel is he would be very proud of me, of what I have done,” David Rai said.
The church’s pastor, the Rev. Jim Chandler, said trying to help David Rai reach the goals that his father had wanted for him is a joy.
“Here was a man that was living the American dream. He was working long hours being a convenience store clerk and socking some money away and finally got to where he could bring his kids over here and it’s gone,” Chandler said. “So maybe in a small way, this is our way of picking that up, trying to say . . . we’re going to honor your dad’s legacy by trying to help here.”

Also , as a consequence of the economic crisis , more and more of them have lost their job and home. But the crisis is not finished , and in near future the consequences could be catastrophic. Keep in mind that any change can not come from the federal government , but only the people , the only source of any future chagement. If a majority of them think a change is possible , so it can be. A way to preserve freedom , ideals , welfare of people is federalism must come to an end. People will have to make a choise , federalism versus freedom , ideals , welfare… . The first could lead to the establishment of a martial law. A state as texas is ready to cross the line , it could be an example for the others. People could put under pressure every state government in the aim to declare secession , the american constitution allow such a decision. Such an aim can’t be aimed without any precaution , as it is evident the federal power is not ready to yield or abdicate. Probably , this one will use force to submit people , but constitution give garantees on firearms. people can put up a fight against the oppressive federal power if a political issue according to the will of people can not be lead. I don’t blame the immigrants because I would try to do what ever was necessary to take care of my family too. The problem is with our own government. To legalize them would be to publicly register them. I don’t disagree with this one bit. Some might compare it to working on the table instead of under it. However, the government has pretty much deterred any illegal to publicly register for fear of deportation. The demand is not fair, nor is it reasonable. However, commercial entities need to be registered or they are considered abandoned assets. Abandoned assets is abandoned voting power. The commercial processes required to break out of the box is not cheap, especially if someone does not have the steady inflows of funds via a job. Dealing with the custodian of your security instrument is timely and time is money. The treasury and their collection department have and will drag their feet hoping the jack-in-the-box stops turning its lever to default.

What is it about health care that gets you all so worked up? You slag our NHS off with blatant lies yet you fail to acknowledge the basic facts that with universal health care in the UK we live on average 1 year longer, we are three times less likely to die during child birth and we spend 70% less on our health services. That’s because we don’t see illness as a business opportunity and more importantly we don’t pay anybody a profile margin.
