Almost eight years ago the incumbent president uttered one of his first Bushisms, a phrase that would crop up again and again during his two terms in office; “If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I’m the dictator.”
In early 2006 Bush delivered perhaps his second most memorable verbal spout by announcing to the world that he was “the decider”.
This weekend president elect Obama became known as “the ruler”.
Valerie Jarrett, Co-Chair of the Obama transition team, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend and used the phrase in describing the working model for the transition between the Bush administration and the new Obama regime.
“Given the daunting challenges that we face, it is important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one,” Jarrett told Tom Brokaw.
“We will be working closely with his [Bush's] administration, we will be reviewing the agencies now, he will be making key personnel decisions, he gets national security briefings everyday now as well.” she said

Clearly Jarrett is not aware that the very foundation of the United States of America consists of a government of the people, by the people, for the people. No one is ruled over and no one does any ruling, unless this is part of the “change” agenda, which already seems to be changing itself.

I am so excited because I think this book is going to shake the dumbed down population. I think this book is super important. For those who say this is just a slip, a gaffe…I was watching CNN during the campaign not too long ago, and the sound was turned off but I could read the running titles (transcription) on the bottom, the person typing used the word “rule” to refer to Obama’s actions as the future president-elect…I was shocked at the word, and figured it was a mistake…don’t remember the speaker that was being transcribed.
Texas Guy has it right, they are laughing at us. I have been noticing the increasing boldness of their signals.

Dear Alex, 42 of the 55 members of the Continental Congress signed the US Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. I believe this is what Obama was alluding to in a recent speech. He was referring to the “Constitution”, which is now 221+ yrs. old. One of your “radio show callers” was inquiring about this.

Based on his record, performance, and vitriol, I too see change on the horizon, but it’s certainly not going to be anything good. Yet people are blubbering around yelling “Yes we can”, and “Change” like Obama rose from the dead announcing the second coming. I just don’t see the basis. I DO know, based on Obama’s plans, record, and observation, that this country’s going to be wishing for the Dubya years again in two years or less. OFF TOPIC
I took a break from the war and did something I always wanted to do. I went to vien mountain in north carolina, and just before i got there I stopped on a bridge that has trails down to the river.
I spent an hour there sifting soil I collected from the river in 3 different sopts. I just finished panning it out and I have atleast 1/4 0z of silver and about 3 penny weight of gold.
at todays prices, I made about 10 bucks on the silver and about 120 on the gold. not bad for an hour of watching my dog go swimming and chase fish while i screened soil into a bucket.
so when it all goes poof and gold sky rockets, go earn your cash in the rivers like i plan on doing.
a small 1 oz nugget is worth about 700.00 nowadays,
but jewelery shops and mineral dealers, you’ll get a whopping 2 to 4 grand for that nugget because it’s rare, it’s natural and you are the first person since time began to find and hold that piece of nugget from a distant sun going super nova eons ago..
just a thought for people to consider if you live in or near gold bearing states.
