If you want to know what kind of president Barack Obama will be, look no further than his sponsorship of the fingerprint registry bill now wending its way through the Senate. Obama apparently has no reservations when it comes to robbing Americans of their freedom. The corporate media does not believe Obama’s backing of this bill warrants mention, but the Heritage Foundation does:
Sens. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Mel Martinez (R-Fla.) authored a bill (with 11 co-sponsors, including Sen. Barack Obama) that was incorporated into a housing bill passed by the Senate Banking Committee 19-2 before the Memorial Day recess — a bill that creates a national fingerprint registry.
According to a Martinez press release, the language merely “create[s] national licensing and oversight standards for residential mortgage originators.”
One of the standards, John Berlau of the Competitive Enterprise Institute says, may “require thousands of individuals working even tangentially in the mortgage and real estate industries — and not suspected of anything — to send their prints to the feds.”
This is a step in the wrong direction — at least for a nation that preserves freedom.
Democrats such as Dianne Feinstein — a member of the globalist Trilateral Commission and also a Bilderberg attendee — parade this bill as consumer protection when in fact it is nothing of the sort. In fact, it is rather odd Feinstein would characterize this bill as such when consumers and the public at large were not to allowed to discuss it. Declan McCullagh writes for CNet:
What’s a little odd is the lack of public discussion about this new fingerprint database. No mention of it appears in the official summary of the revised Senate bill. No fingerprint database requirement is in the House version of the legislation approved earlier this month. No copy of the revised Senate legislation is posted on the Library of Congress’ Thomas Web site, which would be the usual procedure.
As McCullagh notes, there is no indication what will happen with the fingerprints after real estate agents have submitted them to the FBI. But this really is a non-brainer — they will go into a sprawling government database along with all the other biometric data collected from citizens by the government.
If you want to know the government’s opinion on fingerprints, look no further than the comments of DHS honcho Michael Chertoff, who recently stated that “a fingerprint is hardly personal data because you leave it on glasses and silverware and articles all over the world, they’re like footprints. They’re not particularly private.” In other words, you don’t own your fingerprints — or DNA, for that matter — because you leave it around, thus there should be no expectation of privacy.

As Bilderberg researcher and journalist Jim Tucker told Alex Jones today, the elite are itching to impose their control grid on all of us. According to Tucker’s sources inside Bilderberg — with a solid track record — there was discussion of microchipping the public like so much cattle at the 2008 Bilderberg meeting this past week in Chantilly, Virginia. It will begin with RFID tags in your underwear — I kid you not — and soon enough progress to implantable microchips.
It now appears both Hillary and Obama secretly attended the Bilderberg meeting, thus we can assume both are all for the agenda to microchip the populace like dogs.
No doubt Obama and the elite believe it is “Change We Can Believe In.”

Since when did it become a requirement to engage in a legal business enterprise or business and be subject to fingerprinting, which is not just checked against a known criminal database, which is then kept by the government in a “civil”? database of fingerprints, despite the fact that you are not a criminal??
Criminal defendants have their fingerprints returned (supposed to anyway, ha!) when they are found not guilty or their charges are dismissed.
What is happening to us???

You make a good point. Since when is anybody required to be subjected to a background check, or fingerprinting unless the employer requires a background check prior to hiring? And even at that point no employer that I know of ever requires your fingerprints unless you are processing for a Government job. This big ear maggot will only be more of the same, the wheels of the coming Tyranny keep on turning as we continue to be crushed under them. This walking glob of rodent sperm will not respect our freedoms in any way shape or form. You are taking it too far. This is (and read carefully) a regulation on mortgage lending agents. NOT on holders of mortgages. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still wrong. It’s still a violation of free market principles, and it will not help at all to prevent fraud, or protect consumers, but it’ll make many people feel good, and that’s what’s important in the minds of the “sheeple.”
As to Obama being a champion of civil rights because he randomly made some statements about the Patriot Act… I don’t believe him on that, and even if it were true, it would be lip service considering all the laws he would support that violate the BOR just as much or more.
We all know this is part of a plan to control us. But be frank about what this says. While I don’t deny that we can get a slippery slope here, let’s just take this for what it is now, and contact the (hopefully) loyal Congresscritters, and Senators to fight this.

Regardless of background, there is no reason to have ANYONE’s DNA, Fingerprints, Retina cropping, etc stored in any database. Do you really feel safe(r) if a criminal’s biomarkers are stored in a state-run database? In Illinois, if you are convicted of a felony -regardless of the offense – the offender’s mouth is swabbed in order to obtain DNA. If you refuse, or do not comply withing a given time frame, the offender is charged with another felony. This is just the beginning, people! Soon everyone will fit some category or other and be required to have there biomarkers documented.
Big Brother has turned many people in the U.S. into fearful lemmings. Everything needs to be documented and keep on file to make us safe. Run background checks on people to make sure the work enviornemnt is kept safe; make sure that sex-offender registers his new address when he moves; make sure that potential renters are screened for things totally unrelated to be an occupant. Look people, the fingerpint thing is old hat. There i already in existence a large fingerprint databae but it is the dna database located in Europe and quite a while ago back in 2002 I saw a website that was legit an it had stated clearly that there is a global database to keep track of every human on the face of the eartH. They tried to state it in a way like it is for security purposes and even mentioned it in a “loving way”.
Anyone remember when Alex used to say “your loving govt”…I used to roll. Well these people say that the reason it is a good thing to have the dna database is for the purpose of maintaining the food supply for all peoples. Such a crock.

I thank God Almighty every day for rednecks.
I don’t like racism, white supremacy, etc. which are statistically more prevalent amongst rednecks than other segments of the population.

A lot of guilt by association here for Clinton and the fingerprint registry, but where’s the beef? I would expect Clinton was there to hear “the decision” from the real superdelegates, and perhaps give her first concession speech before officially conceding two days later.
Corporate America, via their corporate media mouthpieces, denied Clinton the presidency because she offered the people guaranteed, universal healthcare, and the corporatists would not have that. Healthcare is too useful as a tool to keep employees fearful of losing their jobs and their sacred Benefits (esp. people with pre-existing conditions!). Those without it are second class citizens who do not get the care they need, and who can go bankrupt (and be more exploitable) because of a minor and temporary health problem, not to mention a dire one. Why would they want to “change” such a beautiful system?

Well, I’m excited about the underwear thing. I’ll stay on top of this story and jump into the underwear black market business when the time is right. I’m sure I can open a little work shop and sell them on line and in my neighborhood to. By the time the feds catch on I will make enough money to take a few trips abroad and set up a little import business. We will call them by a different name. I could get middle eastern men between the ages of 17 and 40 to hand carry them too! They will never catch on that way. I could also have them made in Mexico and hand carried over the boarder. That should work long enough to get even richer with my black market underwear. I could also invent little scanners which could be sold to people who want to check to see if their under ware are free of the little chip thing. Maybe the government and police department would give me a contract to make them so they can check too. I guess I should considering setting some money aside to lobby for that industry. So many opportunities, so little time!!!
