In an email sent out late Friday, the Society of Professional Journalists expressed ‘outrage’ over President Obama’s proposed changes to the shield bill that would protect reporters from having to divulge confidential sources in court.
“Not long ago, President Obama was a key supporter of this bill, but after one meeting with his national security team he appears to have been scared into making this poor decision,” SPJ President Kevin Smith said in a statement. SPJ cited an event in April 2008, where candidate Obama threw his support behind the proposed legislation, the Free Flow of Information Act.

I’m questioning his authenticity since it’s my understanding that the Hamthrax vaccine is just now coming online in this country. Maybe the mil. had access to it, bit as far as I could tell, there is no release of the vaccine except in trial areas of the world like Australia and that was only a few weeks ago.

All people expressing any opinion or information about anything are going to be “legally” considered as journalists while they express themselves in public, even if it’s only for an instant. I haven’t seen one person defend Obama outside of the manstream media since early summer. My friends that voted for Obama took their pro-Obama bumper stickers off, and refuse to even mentioned his name. And on here, I haven’t seen one Obama supporter defend Obama for at least six months. Sre, you’ll have people attacking infowars or Alex, but they’re poeple who don’t like Obama either. I just want to give a shout out to you Obama supporters who are still out there. I realize your kind is going extict but befoe that happens I’d like to see you defend Obama for once. It would be funny!
