President Obama is nothing if not confident.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told a crowd this week that — during a discussion about despots who cling to power to decades — Obama told her: “I’m going to win re-election, and then I’m done.”
At a fundraiser this week, Obama told donors that his 2008 election night speech in Chicago was only “the beginning” of his presidency — “we’re just a quarter of the way through and we’ve got to make sure that we finish our task.”
