“As I said when I announced this strategy, there will be more difficult days ahead,” the president said at the annual convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. “The insurgency in Afghanistan didn’t just happen overnight, and we won’t defeat it overnight. This will not be quick. This will not be easy.”
In a 35-minute speech to a group that harbors, in some cases, deep reservations about the president’s war policy, Mr. Obama took firm ownership of the long-running Afghan initiative. The speech came as Afghanistan prepares for presidential elections on Thursday.

I think it would change the battlefield, and the warmongering of America, if our president had to actually go out and FIGHT with the *pawns of war*.
I personally don’t think you’d see nearly as many wars, if the president risked getting hit by a roadside bomb, shot in the head, etc just like the troops. Who knows, maybe this should be the policy of every nation at war, anyone who votes for the war, gets to go and fight in it.

There were no anti war liberals. The only reason they were against the war was because it was Bush’s war. Plus it’s the Iraq war that they were against. Apparently they’re ok with it now. None of them are asking to get troops out quicker than the current timetable. The troops will be in Iraq untill the end of 2011. It will be perfect timing for Obama’s reelection.
Which of them ever protested Afghanistan? Fighting the war on terror isn’t a political fight, AYFA. Both sides agree on it. There is no end to that. That war doesn’t have timetables. The war on terror is the modern cold war, in my opinion.

The civilians that died were not the result of the drones, as they were in the target zone when they were not authorized to be there. It is why Americans must take a stand everywhere to join hands on bended knees in support of our president and our communities. Together, we can make a difference. Actually Nixon continued it for about six years, and hit them with everything he had. More bombs dropped on Nam than in all of WWII. The Vietnamese ended it by being willing to die in large numbers for a cause they believed in. Fact is, America lost.
So now that we lost, did the defeat hurt us in any way? NO,because the Vietnamese were never against us. They just wanted their national freedom and independence from France, USA, China, Laos ,etc. They were not part of any big “domino theory” to turn the world communist.
Now if you want some real war heroes, look to the Vietnamese.

I heard someone praying on the radio today and asking God’s blessings on the military men fight in Afghanistan so that those people could have Freedom and Liberty. We are losing are Freedom and Liberty and they are fighting for it for another country. It’s all political and our poor boys are being killed for it.

The mehdi is the antichrist, don’t you understand that? He will bring peace to the Arabs and Jews, everyone will love him worldwide, he won’t be a monster (at first) like some think. He will probably come up with a peace plan that includes a deal with the Jews and Arabs, probably allowing them to rebuild their temple if they give up Jerusalem. I think it will happen after Russia invades Israel, they will be doing in Israel what we say we are doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. When the antichrist goes into the rebuilt Jewish temple to declare himself God, the Jews will then reject him. Then he will attempt to slaughter the Jews. That’s when the crap starts to hit the fan big time and plague after plague will start in earnest. Then it’s three 1/2 years of unimaginable chaos.

Last year it was widely reported the Taliban made $70 Million from the drugs trade.
That’s about 2% of last years profits from the Afghan poppy fields.

When the Taliban took-over the Kabul government, 1996, opium production was estimated at 4,500 tons a year. By 2001 the strictly religious Taliban had violently reduced production to around 50 tons.
Thanks’ to the illegal invasion and occupation Afghanistan produced 6,200 tons in 2008!

The American people must find which Military commanders are in the payroll of the New World Order and which military commanders are fair dinkum American Patriots burining with the spirit of 1776.
After all we should remember that the American military was created by the American patriots in 1776 to defend the rights of the American people not the New World Order.
So the American people must find out who are the turncoats in the American military and who are the Patriots.
I believe there are far more patriots in the American military than we are led to believe, I think only some of the elites of the military are in the payroll of the New World Order.
The lower down command you go there are more commanders ready to break rank and stand with the American people in the situation God forbid the New World Order orders the US military on their own people.
Thats why they have offshore UN, NATO troops on standby. Because when push comes to shove I think the Global Elites are worried who the US military will stand with.
