President Obama’s budget proposes $989 billion in new taxes over the course of the next 10 years, starting fiscal year 2011, most of which are tax increases on individuals.

1) On people making more than $250,000.
$338 billion – Bush tax cuts expire
$179 billlion – eliminate itemized deduction
$118 billion – capital gains tax hike
Total: $636 billion/10 years
2) Businesses:
$17 billion – Reinstate Superfund taxes
$24 billion – tax carried-interest as income
$5 billion – codify “economic substance doctrine”
$61 billion – repeal LIFO
$210 billion – international enforcement, reform deferral, other tax reform

i agree with burdell. anyone that pays the tax is a complete moron. ive explained my reasons to not pay the taxes in detail and all i get as a response is “sorry that just wont fly” but those morons can continue to pay the UNCONSTITUTIONAL taxes.

“$4 billion – information reporting for rental payments” This means you cannot rent without your location being tracked. I own rental units and have always thought if someone wants to hide out they can always rent from some private party. If the private has party EVER reported rental income then they will have to join this tracking system and report the SSN of the people living there.

How the Stimulus Plan Works:
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Tennessee, and the third is from Minnesota.
