As Occupy protesters start their march from New York City to Washington, DC, there is another group across the country which has set up an encampment for a far different cause.
Occupy Northridge, California isn’t about fighting economic disparity. It’s about free chicken.
Nearly 40 tents are set up in the California city, as hungry fast food lovers queue up for the opening of a new Chick-fil-A restaurant, which will supply a year’s worth of free food to its first 100 customers.
The restaurant chain is scheduled to open for business at 6am tomorrow at 8875 Tampa Avenue, when it will hand out the vouchers, said to be worth $350.
