It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.
One senior lawmaker said the CIA had, so far, refused to brief the intelligence committees on what, if any, knowledge they had about Hasan’s efforts.

alex—I don’t either. Or the being harassed by fellow soldiers about being muslim. He was a major and a soldier of less rank wouldn’t do that. And higher rank I doubt would do it either. I think he was just a pissed off mother fucker that went postal. Maybe the chemtrails got to him.

is that like trying to make contact but he failed and decided to go it alone? if they supposably knew this than why was he not locked up? it makes no sense. way too much information at the beginning of this story and even before then. this will be swept under the rug as usual. of all places for it to happen on a military base and i hate to see where this is going. and look out were being warned ahead of time of cyber attacks in winter or summer that can knock out a power grid. compliments of 60 minutes and some guy who said if he were a cyber terrorist that and someone can actually drain your bank acct. via the internet. nice to know what their up to.

If this is true, then why was Hasan promoted? People, ask yourselves this question. WHY WAS HE PROMOTED?!! And why didn’t Hasan just go to Afghanistan or Iraq or wherever they were deploying him to and operate as a mole in those sectors? As an Al-qaeda operative, he could have caused more damage by supplying intel to the enemy and performing other “sabotage” inside work.

If U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with al Qaeda , why didn’t they contact Homeland Security or the House Intelligence Committee instead of just ‘ sitting ‘ on it ?
Why didn’t U.S. intelligence contact the Army , or even Fort Hood officials ?
Why is investigators trying to link Husan with Anwar al Awlaki ?
Why does The London Telegraph , a ordinary news paper know more about Husan’s supposed connections to Anwar al Awlaki then our most elite Governmental and Intellegence Agencies ?
Why do ‘ people ‘ single out Hasan as gradually becoming more radical in his disapproval of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan when over 60% of the citizens of the United States feel the same way ?
With the disapproval rates in the United States about both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and a possible invasion of Iran , this seems to be a ploy to get sympathetic approval for more troops being sent to these regions while more then half the citizens want the reverse decision in bringing our kids home , as Promised .
Whether Husan was simply a individual who went berzerk for only reasons HE knows , the constant and brutal accusations by the Mainstream Media and esspecially these ‘ un-named sources ‘ on what actually happened is only speculation and should be responsibly investigated before we begin to open old wounds !

I’d like to know how a fat guy, who is a shrink, can wield two handguns, pump off a hundred rounds, obviously would have had to reload at least once, probably twice, then get shot, declared dead, resurrected 4 hours later and yet appear totally calm and cheerful in an earlier video at the 7/11, before going on this rampage? Also, the original report had other people involved, what happened to that? Too many questions.
