The payroll decline was more than forecast and followed a 322,000 drop in May, according to Labor Department figures released today in Washington. The jobless rate jumped to 9.5 percent, the highest since August 1983, from 9.4 percent.
Unemployment is projected to keep rising for the rest of the year just as the income boost from the stimulus package fades, undermining prospects for a sustained rebound in household purchases, analysts said. As companies from General Motors Corp. to Kimberly-Clark Corp. cut costs, the lack of jobs will restrain growth.

We are in a state of tyranny, President Bush told us so. Yet, no one in this country is willing to fight for our Constitutional Rights. We need to start our own war in America. I have been doing a lot of research on Alex Jones. For example, the more I listen to his show, the more I hear him ranting and fear mongering. I can only imagine what people think after they watch his show. Now I will try to show you what I mean by this, I hope it will not be edited for it is, what a shame. Alex Jones did an interview with Eric Phelps, Eric is an expert on the Jesuit Order and the Roman Catholic Church.
Phelps clearly proves how Alex Jones has deep Jesuit (top Illuminati) connections, and how he suppresses all information related to the Jesuits, and how he deliberately censors everyone on his show who is trying to bring up the Jesuit Order. Jesuits, (who are Globalists and working towards a fascistic World Government) hate the thought of a limited government, something that was built into the Constitution of the United States (9th and 10th Amendments).
Do these people, pay Alex to disinfo on the “Top Hierarchy? Top Hierarchy” I mean the people who basically run this planet behind the scenes, but are NOT at the absolute top of the Conspiracy. Even the Jesuits answer to “higher powers”. It’s a game, within a game, within a game. I mean from my stand point and my own personal oppinion, it would be just like them to hire some guy like Alex, to mix bad info with good info, in hopes that the public would be so frightened that they will retaliate against the government? I don’t really mind what he worships. I don’t see him as some kind of secret NWO agent in disguise. I laugh when I hear people say “ALEX IS CIA” He’s pro life, pro gun, pro civil liberties, anti globalist, anti illegal immigration, noninterventionist Texan. I always look at the sum of peoples’ opinions rather than speculate some kind of evil conspiracy for world domination. For instance, there’s people who speculate that Ron Paul is just a phony and he is really just a shill for corporations, KKK, and Christians. I think you’re wrong when you say Alex would stir martial law. How many times do people like you need to be told that Alex advocates peace regularly. He strongly condemns violence.
If the mainstream of both parties and the fringe of both parties is part of an evil conspiracy for world domination (as you suggest Alex Jones is no better than W or Obama) and you are right then there is nothing anybody can do. I don’t believe you. I think there ARE people in the media and government who aren’t NWO. However, something that people rarely bring up on here is the fact that Alex IS a human being involved in the news. For all we know, he could slant things just like Chris Matthews. He could be dishonest. Lastly, he could be doing fearmongering for profit. But saying he’s an illuminati or something I just don’t know I guess I need to read up on secret societies.

Those green shoots are going quick… 14 and some odd trillion wasted, California is bankrupt and issuing IOU’s… it won’t be too much longer, and the people receiving state and federal help, like welfare, food stamps, etc, will be given these IOU’s then, simply nothing at all. Once that happens, all hell will break loose, people will go out looting, raping, killing and shooting anything they can, to get food for their family after a month off the government dole. Should be a wild ride, and the reason I bought my guns and ammo. Not so much to fight the government, but the insane people who will be suddenly homeless, penniless and having lost everything, will lose it.
If they push these people in Fema Camps, expect them to be like the SuperDome, covered in human feces, urine, blood, vomit, etc to the point that they are not inhabitable in a week or two. Then enter swine flu and the rebirth of Bubonic Plague from the new 3rd world conditions created in said fema camps.

However after all the damage of the first case the second years later will do it in. Losses back then were 1.4 Trillion USA 1.7+ Trillion Japan and billions over the world. Yet the loss today was about 1 Trillion in sub prime and half of that was sold over the world anyway. So this whole thing today is about the derivative market with its fuzzy math bubble that caused Trillions lost and this kind of damage??? The story of wire transfers from the back door of this market to national security accounts with Trillions in Pakistan make more sense to me and the world court and EMF freezing it. As it better explains bank shortages and Bush/Obama. However the addition of 100+ massive pyramid fraud cases the FBI is looking at don’t help. The whole thing smells of a CIA/Mob action. I expected from 1993 Waco situation this might happen. It seems they had two of the best hackers on earth then in that compound. I remember the S&L crisis well. At the time I was a real estate appraiser. The unregulated S&Ls were established under Reagan, but in reality were banks under disguise. Created by a law written by the bankers for the benefit of the bankers. Back then my local branch S&L/bank was taken over by the FDIC, and the gov’t. . Then president Bush 1 put a friend in as the new CEO, and was given a bailout of the unbelievable sum back then of 1 billion dollars! 6 months later another $ billion. The S&L corparation then was abosrbed by some other large mega bank group.
The company I worked for at the time had a sterling reputation. However, the banks that now owned all the real estate DEMANDED that a certain bogus value be placed on all their properties to balance their books. When the owner of the company would not be part of their corrupt scam, all business was lost. Within 3 months we were out of work.
In March of this year it was reported that more “conventional” mortgages were in default then “sub-prime.”
If it were only the real estate that went bust, that would be no problem addressing the problem and there would be no crisis as there is today. The REAL CRISIS is caused by the CDOs and CDSs CREATED out of thin air by the Wall Streeters and the mega banks. These derivitives are so complex no one really understands them. They are leveraged up to 60X.
Wall Street and the mega banksters have collasped the entire system. It will take decades to “find the money.” The man in charge of Citi’s trading of the CDOs and CDSs is in England. He was reportedly paid $280 MILLION in 8 years by Citi to spread this worthless crap all over the world.
The money will never be found. No prosecutions of the major Wall Street or banksters players in this shell game will ever happen. They will walk away free, and much,much richer.

I’ve been in the workforce for almost forty years and have never, ever had trouble finding a job until now. It took almost one year to get part time hours making minimum wage. Now i’m having trouble finding either a full time or another part time job. I can’t even get companies to call me back even though I have the experience they’re looking for.
It doesn’t seem to help when you’re in your fifties either.

I am also in my 50’s. I have had to close my buisness of 16 years.
Same as you are experiencing, no jobs. No replies back. Nothing.
The jobs around here are only slightly above min wage, $7.50-$8.00 p/hr. Part time or temp to hire. No insurance, no benefits of any kind because you are only part time.
Personally, I think if you are 45+, certainly 50+ the days of seeing a decent paycheck are over, unless you are highly specilized.

I’m so tired of people putting down on Alex!!! I don’t always agree with the man but I have nothing but respect for him and his. This man and those around him are doing more to get this information out than you know. And for all you people who come here to voice your opinion ,……….welcome.

The naked truth, nothing can save the economy not even the bankers themselves if they wanted to. The system itself is doomed! Nothing can save any nation from a total economic crisis. The world is heading into a dark age, which will result in the deaths of billions of people just as the Empire wants. The crisis today isn’t another one of the bankers controlled implosions, this one is the real deal which they knew would come, and they made sure it came right on time. If we could end the Federal Reserve and retake control of our Republic we could institute the American system of economics on a global scale and literally reverse the destruction of globalization within a few generations. In order to do so we would also have to restore sovereignty to all nations which have lost it to globalization so that those nations could again begin the process of cultural development and industrialization. It all comes down to breaking the power of the banking empire, or British Empire as I see it, and throwing the puppets out of our Republic. Now the first trick to breaking the banking empire is breaking the media spell that has infected the American people. Only American has the ability to reverse globalization, and only the American people have the ability to break the banker empire. A hot war would actually help the banker empire. If the U.S falls into a civil war we will waste our time killing each other as the entire planet plunges into a new dark age and mass global depopulation from starvation, pandemics, etc. We must resist a hot war at all cost. I know a lot of people are itching to “get it on” but it would be a fatal mistake. Yes we could defeat the bankers hold of America in a hot war, but the rest of the planet would plunge into a dark age and those problems would find there way back into America which would already have been seriously injured from civil war, and thus in the end we would still lose the war. We must keep the war in the intellectual sphere only. The empires push to foment a civil war is testament to what I have stated.

I would just like to leave this comment. I am relatively young. I have been constantly emplyed for 20 years. I am thankful to still be employed; however, my job was almost lost to an overseas firm. I have never seen a time where so man of the people I know are unemployed. I am just wondering if we are going to eclipse the Great Depresssion any time soon? I pray that we all get through this tough time.

All of us are fighting for our survival now. Most of the folks in our area are on some sort of government help like ssi and food stampps. The few that have jobs in a 30 mile radius around here work for mim. wage. This is what greed has done to this nation. If this bill passes in the senate we are done for. I dont know anybody who can afford higher taxes and higher electric bills. While we still can somewhat afford our telephone bill use it and storm call the elected officials. Alot of folks say it doesn’t help but do it anyway. They work for us. Or they are supposed to. Let them know this. As for the great depression, yes, it will eclipse the first one for many reasons and obama will go down in history as the worst pres ever. He has to be the scape goat but right now they are still using him, and believe me the idol is wearing off real fast. God bless you and pray this bill doesn’t pass.

And to think how many fools still believe the economy is getting better. If you still have a job are both deaf and blind and get all your news from CNN, then your probably think that way, mostly to make your own self feel good about the situation. Just wait and see ! No, the economy will not recover like so many fools thinks, we are in for the ride of our lives my dear friends. The bailout was not a good thing becuase it was money that did not exist anyway. Where did the Government get all those billions ? When are the sheeple dummies going to realize that corperations and governments are not your friends ? When ? When are the dummies going to realize that the elitists are slowly wiping out the middle class ? When are the dummies going to realize that apartments and condo’s will be the housing of the future ? When are the dummies going to realize that the Elitists are trying to even out the playing field between the west and the east, using the east as a model ? When ? When are you going to realize that all this downfall has been engineered ? It’s not an airborne economic cold, it’s a lab created germ. Wake the fuck up already !

Shoring up the labor market was never the intention of the stimulus. That was only a guise to grow govt. Think about it: If Barry Soetoro said, “We have to pass this stimulus to lay the foundation for further govt growth and encroachment”, the stimulus would have been as dead as Barry’s chances in 2012.

What a hoot! Unemployment…Its just more time for many Americans to watch reality tv and pick the best singers and dancers on these other shows, etc.. Its really great that Americans chose to support the two parties that marched them off the economic cliff. When I think of all of those unemployed UAW members whose hard-earned dues were taken to support Obama or Clinton…Usury, Unjust Trade Treaties and other policies that led to their job losses…I see the personification of Karma doing the Mexican Hat Dance on their backs in steel-toed boots….Sweet.

Everything is okay…they told us there is a “jobless recovery”. I trust the mainstream, corporate media. The bankers are good, honorable people. They care about us, so much so, they took over $1.4 trillion from you and me and keeps it a secret because they don’t want us to know what good works they are doing. I also think that CNBC, FOX, CNN, AP, Reuters, Yahoo, C-SPAN, etc are so smart and intellectually superior. They help me think and teach my kids so much about the world, I don’t know I would do with them. They have always told the truth. I am convinced if it’s not reported on CNN, it didn’t happen!

Friends, of corse the bailout didn’t work and and another bailout wont work as well. Look at Japan they did the same thing over and over, if you cant learn from history then you are doomed to make the same mistakes……Japan had a lost decade with bailout after bailout. It wont work in this country when half the debt is going to bridges to nowhere projects….. Most of the first stimulus is going for signs with black jesus’s face saying were are planning on building somthing here just in time for my relection in 2012…..
