Pentagon Insists Iran Still Arming Insurgents In Iraq, Afghanistan

[efoods]The United States has accused Iran of continuing to arm insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan following the recovery of a large numbers of Iranian-made weapons in two war-ravaged countries, reports say.

At a news conference, Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell said coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan continue to find Iranian weapons, including extremely potent roadside bombs–armor-piercing devices the military calls “explosively formed penetrators (EFP).”

He said a large cache of Iranian explosives was found a week ago, and the top U.S. general in Iraq recently told reporters about another large find.
