Such climate-induced crises could topple governments, feed terrorist movements or destabilize entire regions, say the analysts, experts at the Pentagon and intelligence agencies who for the first time are taking a serious look at the national security implications of climate change.
Recent war games and intelligence studies conclude that over the next 20 to 30 years, vulnerable regions, particularly sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and South and Southeast Asia, will face the prospect of food shortages, water crises and catastrophic flooding driven by climate change that could demand an American humanitarian relief or military response.

This guy is so right on and I’ve donated to his campaign several times even though he’s not for my state. This is the guy who was mocked and derrided by CNBC and other economic “experts” for warning about our financial collapse. He’s running against Chris “There’s nothing wrong with AIG” Dodd. I encourage everyone to do their due dilligence on Peter Schiff and if you are for free markets and liberty, contribute to his campaign so he has a fighting chance against the bankrolled corrupt congress like Dodd (and Frank, and Pelosi, and Boxer, and Reid…) There aren’t many honest people in government. So when someone comes along it is incumbent upon us to support them if their values match ours. If not, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Oh, and check this out. Epic!

Currently there are over 770 companies who’ve hired 2340 lobbyists to influence the global warming debate in Washington. These companies range from the clean coal industry to Land O Lakes butter. Understandable, as any major emitter of pollution will not want to be further taxed and/or be expected to curb emissions.
These lobbys (as all do) wield great power in many ways, both directly and subtly. They have an awesome ability to MANIPULATE public perception. They are the same ones who diligently worked to convince us for decades that smoking does not cause cancer. They work hard to keep the bucks flowing to Israel, GM, and AIG. And yes, they work hard to CONvince you that there is no environmental problem, the air is clean, climate change is natural, and ski slopes have no need to worry about there future. From the looks of these posts, I guess they are earning the millions they are getting paid. (But NOBODY who reads AJ is able to be duped, right?)

Just out of curiosity, what isn’t a threat to them?…these people are paranoid. I wonder if this is the type of war that was going on, when i served in the armed forces…geesh! Maybe, if there were no pentagon, then there would be no need to be scared of everything! Then again, why have a military if there is NO REAL threat….create a need for the pentagon so they have something to do?
The way i see it, earth ain’t getting hotter, it’s cooling down….especially when it’s ONLY 65 degrees outside, at 8 a.m. in southern Cali, in the middle of summer. If that’s ‘global warming’ then i’d rather there be global cooling, cuz my ass is cold.

Where are the environmentalists when it’s obvious that they are spraying chemtrails daily? Why aren’t they complaining about the Government polluting our environment? If they are so concerned why are they not demonstrating to put a stop to it? The government is doing more polluting of the atmosphere than any of us. Maybe they should pay a carbon tax.

Being from Alaska, I have seen first hand the effects of global warming. I have witnessed glaciers calve off in monumental proportions.
