As the G-20 Summit nears, Pittsburgh City Council is considering the possibility of instituting an assault weapons ban during the high-profile event.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, city officials are talking about reviving an old law that would ban those types of weapons.

If approved, the ban would likely be in effect until after the G-20 Summit ends.

City council members are expected to consider the assault weapons ban today along with many other pieces of legislation during a special session on the G-20 Summit.

Send them so many emails and faxes that their inbox gets jammed full.

Don’t let them trample on your RIGHT to possess a firearm.

If the G20 security can carry “assault weapons”, you can too, because you are a free American.

Alex, Kurt Nimmo, or any of the staff reading this!

Let’s start a campaign to convince the Pittsburgh City Council to NOT have the G20 summit meet up there.

Convince them that the riots will make their city look bad, and that it will take a toll on their police resources and street services.

We do not want these banksters meeting up in the united states!

WeAreChange and these other activist groups out there reading this can make this happen.

Here are the council members: http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/council/

Send them all copies of Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement, send them news articles out of the Wall Street Journal showing these G20 parasites calling for a New World Order.

I say, we place all of our chips on this mission this week.

      LaughingBarry Reply:

Probably the false flag of military black ops guys they’re drilling to shoot random people while the G-20 is in town or something like that. It would be quite an opportune time for them to stage something, that’s for sure.

Then the G-20 is an anti human rights summit.

      Alexis Reply:

The ban would ban the ownership of the guns? or what?
Do we have to burry them in the back yard for a week?
If they’re confiscated during the ban, do we get them back after?
Will people have their guns removed, or will they be detained ???

      Thorne in Their Side Reply:

Sounds to me like they will strip your right to own, possess or aquire any type of weapon that “THEY” deem to be unacceptable!
And if they pass it, I don’t think they will consider giving them back to you, OR ASKING nicely for them to be handed in!!!

      LaughingBarry Reply:

most likely. I wonder when their next staged “mass shooting” will be? THey want to take away as many guns as they can so no one can take out a…. “lone”… gunman?

we need to open carry rpgs in protest at the g20 summit

      Gary Reply:

Pat, if we carried RPG’s – there would be no g20 Summit! There would be no United Nations head-quartered in our nation. There would be “assault weapons ban” looming once more on the horizon. There would be no taxation without representation. (No one I’ve ever voted for has gained public office.)

Sure, sure, most would rather live in a world ruled by the Pelosis, Bush’s, Clintons, Obamas, Cheney’s, etc. I would rather live in a world ruled by self-owning Freemen. As a curtesy, would you check the safety on the RPG? And keep your finger off the trigger, please, there’s a good fellow! Lunch?

      cascinova Reply:

Yeah thats all we need in this country, some nutjobs like you with RPGs. Gimme a break. We have enough mass killings already with normal weapons.

      man Reply:

what a chicken neck little bitch, be a man. Ask yourself this everyone how much longer are we going to let the banks run our lives? Put a stop to all the criminals s--- once and for all, surround the g-20 and arrest all of them. And any cop that is not on the peoples side, arrest there traitor ass too… enough is enough… then on to the hill and arrest those sick criminals too.

      cascinova Reply:

When did I ever say I dont want the bankers arrested or stop corrupt cops? I just said your insane if you want nutjobs to be able to carry RPGs.

      TechiePatriot Reply:

Better yet – carry large air rifles – not ones that shoot BB’s or Pellates I’m talking about ones that shoot large volume of air.
      See:
      http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/60b6/

This is a small one. if you take a large plastic trash can and modify it you can push enough air to blow someone off their feet. I have seen this work. You can build one of these that will knock someone off their feet at 10 feet.

Be Peacful Brothers…..but stand for your rights, its our only defense against these self appointed tyrannts.

      Pirate King Naro Reply:

You are so right …. if everyone that showed up to protest, packed a gun they wouldnt dare avert the free speech, or it would turn into an all out blood bath.

      Thorne in Their Side Reply:

And you’d know for damn sure that SEIU, ACORN and None of those other idiotic organizations would show up to beat ANYONE down!!

Notice when the folks in New Hampshire and Arizona showed up, ALL those punks keep their mouthes shut!!! The only ones with anything to say was the pussified liberal Media, who were suddenly AFRAID for the President. YEAH RIGHT!

    7. f8te Says:

What the hell good is that going to do? What is it some non retro-active thing where they can come and confiscate all said weapons due to the ratz nest symposium? Pretty vague.

      Thorne in Their Side Reply:

They want to take away your guns, period. end of story!! They won’t be giving them back! They don’t want you to have them in the first place, cause then you can threaten their soft cushy position of (what they percieve as ) Power!!

    8. 7.62x54R 180Gr FMJ Says:

What are they trying to accomplish? Is this just a means of trying to get the serfs conditioned to the idea that the overlords can take away our weapons at will? Or are they just yella?

This has gone far enough. I don’t live in Pittsburgh, nor in Pennsylvania, but if I was there to attend, I’d pack anything I had openly where legal. By anything, I mean from .22 poodle shooters to elephant guns to evil black AR-15s to nickle plated derringers. This is ridiculous! Enacting a “ban” for a few days worth of dignitaries running loose under the watchful eye of $20 million dollars worth of security we pay for in taxes to discuss how deep the economic s--- is getting! Great! This diplomatically keeping up with the Jones is just WRONG! We don’t need to talk this over with foreigners until our own government gets their collective heads screwed on. Take your tyrant Cabal from our shores and don’t come back or we’ll f---ing hang you!Peaceful protest is ok, but unarmed protest is just asking to get Raped in the streets by Robocops.I bet Ian Thomelson’s family wishes THEY hand HIM a gun before he went to work selling Newspapers that day!Someone get those g-20 pricks out of our country as soon as they land. Screw Protest. Do you think the founding fathers used Pickett signs?!Remember it’s treason NOT to STOP treason aswell.Looking the other way is too a crime in AMERICA.

      PENNSYLVANIA=The other COMMUNIST STATE……….

      cascinova Reply:

I am from the pittsburgh area, and pennsylvania is hardly a communist state. We were one of the first states to issue concealed carry permits, when ron paul was running for presidential nomination he got about 15 percent of the vote here in PA, which was higher than any other state in the country, including New Hampshire and other so called independent states.

I can tell you people here are dumbfounded that they are having the G20 in pittsburgh. The cops in seattle said it got out of hand there because Seattle was too small of a city, at 550,000 people, meanwhile pittsburgh doesnt even have 350,000. I can only surmise that Obama and the democrats are trying to repay pennsylvania for getting him elected and thats the reason for having it in pittsburgh.

    12. BDTR Says:

Carry your guns everywhere. And if you don’t have one, buy one.

      TechiePatriot Reply:

People should be buying them regardless. The more guns that are out there the harder these fools will have to work to -try- and take them. The more there are the better chance they may back off. If we as “civilians” own more guns than the cops and military – who will lose in a firefight (if it comes to that).

    13. Gary Says:

“Gosh, those assault weapons look so scary! No one should own something so scary looking! What do want to look scary for?”

Here’s a little research me, my brother and a buddy did. We went out to a remote place and took our pistols. My brother had a .357 magnum, my buddy had .40 and I had a .38 special. My .38 was an “ultralight” and weighed 16 ounces. It only held 5 rounds. It fit in my front pants pocket. Okay…

We filled 3 plastic, 1 gallon, milk jugs with water and put them out 10 yards. We each fired one round into our respective jugs. The .357MAG and the .40 each made neat round holes in front and back of the jugs. I snuck a 66 grain, MagSafe, pre-impacted round into my .38 (100% legal). It eviscerated the jug, tore it to shreds. What’s my point?

Looks and commonly held knowledge can be deceiving. Your average joe would never believe a shot from my tiny “pocket pistol” could outdo a .357 magnum, but there you have it. In this particular experiment it did. Just ’cause something looks “evil” doesn’t make it so. Just ’cause there are idiots flailing their arms and tearing their hair – it don’t mean these “assault rifles” are anymore dangerous than any other semi-auto. Hell, ain’t guns supposed to be dangerous? I mean, seriously, what do they think a gun is?

For the record, the right to bear arms is to protect our free state. Period. What does this mean? Protect from what? TYRANNY at home, TYRANNY from abroad! Personally, I want a gun that is dangerous, one that kills quickly and efficiently. Tyrants need to be reminded that Freemen retain the right to self defense. Or the tyrants will take over and freedom is lost.

    14. BobLeeSwagger Says:

I say ban G20 and G20 members and enforce that ban with assault weapons.

      A Mob of One Reply:

Sorry I can’t be there to help, but my understanding of the First Amendment is that nobody needs a permit. Give ‘em hell!

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

      Thorne in Their Side Reply:

Hang signs from buildings on the route they take, stand at intersections and flip them off! A protest doesn’t have to have hundreds of people shouting and carrying signs etc. It only takes one if it is applied well! (Don’t need a permit to walk down the street either)!

    17. Then we need.... Says:

Then we need to get these people out of office.

    18. PA-resident Says:

The city doesn’t have the authority. People will carry anyhow. It’s already planned. We already schooled Dickson City. They spent like half a million dolllars in law suits. Our states constitution contains the text used as inspiration for the second amendment. The City likes to think they can do s---, but, I assure you, they’ll be schooled. Something like over 50% of NRA dues are paid from this state.

“The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.”
      –Constitution of Pennsylvania:

Article I, Declaration of Rights, Right to Bear Arms, Section 21.

    19. WalkaWalka Says:

I don’t see how there considering something they can’t do. It just don’t work like that boys. Even if you could legally pass this ban. Everybody that has assualt weapons now and anyone who buys up to the day the law goes into law is grandfathered in? Sooooooo why waste effort? Why look like a stupid bunch of Jack Asses? Why tempt my trigger finger? You could be assaulted by assault bricks or assault spoons or assault midsized sedans driven by assault clowns.

    20. JAFO Says:

Let ‘em ban assault weapons for a couple of days. Then they can fret about the application of tar and feathers :)

    23. Dedicated Patriot Says:

If everyone carries, you will have 1 of 2 outcomes. The authorities will do nothing or they will initiate an armed riot if they attempt to forcibly disarm the people. My guess? They will do nothing for fear of putting the G20 dignitaries and the reputation of the City at risk.

    24. markysmark Says:

I think everyone should have a real assault weapon like in switzerland and finland and at least 1000 rounds of ammo! They should openly carry them in pittsburg and use them only if the banksters/policepunks try to take them! Only then will they become fearful enough to stop messing with the american people. RPG’s would cause too much collateral damage.

Living near Pittsburgh I can say that I think the G20 being there is a bad thing. Pittsburgh is falling way short on having enough funding for the security required. Pittsburgh city council and Allegheny county have been trying a lot of interesting tactics besides this ‘assault weapon ban’. I have heard on the local news about them trying to resist granting protesters permits to gather. They are also canceling school for that week for the Pittsburgh public school system and heavily restricting access to the area.

Pittsburgh was at first an odd choice for this G20 summit. The news of this kind of came out of nowhere and caught many locals by surprise. In some ways it is not surprising considering Pittsburgh and Allegheny County are old Democrat strongholds with long histories of political corruption.

This idea is dumber than dog dirt. First they have no authority to restrict second amendment rights what so ever. Next exactly how would they enforce it. Will they come to your house?? Will they want you to tell them if you own one?? It’s ridiculous. What they really really fear is Americans will show up in mass to protest the presence of the G-20 NWO, and exercise their guaranteed right. Imagine 100-200 people open carrying “assault rifles”. They dont want the G-20 pole smokers to witness Americans non-compliance with their phony mandates and worthless treaty’s, with the will to resist it by force. Ass kickin time aint here yet folks so it’s still OK to take names of all the rectal sphincters that put their name on the attempt.

Am I wrong here, I thought an “assault rifle, had to have three round burst or full auto capability. Are they talking about the “look” of a semi auto rifle, or is it how many rounds a said rifle can hold. Those rifles pictured on the wall, look pretty, but they aren’t assault rifles, They look to me like semi auto rifles with scopes. I’ve never had the need for one myself, I’ve got my pistol, rifle, and shotgun, and are damn good with plenty of practice, and have been since I was about ten years old, and can pick off damn near anything up to and over a hundred yards out. Who the hell can afford all that fancy hardware anyway? I figure I won’t need an “Assault Rifle” unless I’m in an assault. ANd the way I figure, when the revolution starts, they’ll be plenty of them laying around amongst the uniformed cadavers and turkey buzzards.

Why do you think America went to computer base voting now. It is probably rigged to put whoever the elitist wants in power. People, we need to demand that we go back to paper ballot voting. Because guns trump freedom of speech all the time. You can yell and protest but the guy with the M16 and 30 rounds of 5.56 will win the arguement every time, even if you think you are right. If someone tries to take your gun, shoot them.If that happens a few million times maybe they’ll start to feel it.Of course if they use Chinese troops the American people would run out of ammo and there would still be millions more in line to kill Americans.Of course i’d prefer to kill a few of them than to give up my gun and end up in a deathcamp that wants to eliminate the babyboomer generation because they are getting older and might cost the government money or CARBON FOOTPRINT.Shoot it or lose it.

One effect that this super self inflicted purposeful recession will have is that Americans out of work will be tempted to sell personal property that they will sacrifice to put food on the table or to keep a roof over their heads.Selling the family AR15 might pay a month’s rent.

If the people of that city does not go out there and protest (with weapons), then they will deserve what they get. If the Council votes to ban their weapons, then the council has to be on crack. People of that district, “Wake up”. Call your council members and let them know that they do not have the right to ban your weapons. They swore to protect the “U.S. Constitution”, and let them know that they might be the cause of riots out there. If the G-20 can carry assault weapons, then, American citizens can carry them too.

hmm, I guess we’ll have to go back to flint lock pistols and rifles. Where I live, there’s a gun
store that sells working flint lock kits that look really nice.
