RE: the dog – it was a handler issue. I train working dogs and they can get really keyed up when they do what they’re bred to do. It’s the handlers responsibility to be aware of this and deal with it as it arrises. That dog was young and he was definitely keyed up like he had blinders on. That is definitely a trainability issue, which is 100% the fault of the handler. The cop looked like he was nervous, too, so the dog keys on that as well. Take a pussy cop with an uncontrolled police K-9 and you get a peaceful grandma bleeding on the street. Shameful.

those dogs are extensively trained…THAT dog was agitated beyond the point of control and should have been taken off the line and let rest…instead they were using his agitation to move the crowd…not the dogs fault….in other circumstances he prob is a great dog…he was just pushed beyond his training and the handler or that SGT wasnt following procedures……bad situation but dont blame the dog

Don’t blame the dog please though. My sister was into training dogs and always treated dogs nice and the dogs performed for her cause they liked her. She never hit them and they were house dogs and friends to her. She thought it would be interesting to watch pigs train their dogs at a show once…but when she found out how abusive the cops are to get their dogs to be mean but afraid of the cops she thought it was horrible and did not want to ruin good animals like that.

Glad you finally woke up to reality. I have been listening to AJ since 1997 and unfortunately, EVERYTHING he said came to pass. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Watching this actually saddened me more than it angered me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still angering, but I just found it sad how those cops were so willing to disregard any perceivable conscience and act as they did. It’s shameful that none of them stand for the Constitution they swore to defend and protect. You always hear about the “good cops,” but it seems to me that their existence is essentially a myth – at least in Pittsburgh. Too bad the Oath Keepers don’t organize and show up in force. I would be curious how these cops would handle the presence of other cops who actually stand for the Constitution.

I was in a deserted village road in Spain once when a large vicious dog ran at me snarling. I knew if I ran it would provoke him so I used the gorilla technique and stood stock still with my head down and face covered by my hands. Through my fingers I saw the dog stop in front of me study me a few seconds and then trot away, looking back occasionaly. I waited until he had gone before I moved.
