I can promise, knowing what I know about how Jesus works, that instead of Christians out there focusing their time on hating these Planned Parenthood people, someone’s been praying for them! I’ve seen it time & time again in scripture & in everyday life. I think this should be an example or lessen to us all. The Lord WILL intervene, when & if we ask him too, this story to me is just one more thing that proves the power of Jesus & the power of prayer. : )

WhiteMale08, The reason why a video of an abortion might not be shown on public television could be a matter of privacy rights, or copyrights of the film itself. I cannot see the average patient giving consent to film an abortion, it is most likely a scientific project, or a totally fake film, the local pro-lifers used to use photo’s of eight or ninth month old babies and try to say they were three months or less for the added dramatic effect. It just made me wonder if they weren’t all a bit retarded which is not a positive spin for your cause, truth is self evident.

They would feel more pain throughout their miserable unwanted lives anyway. It’s sad, but in most cases it’s probably true. Without abortion there would just be several more people with issues competing for jobs and giving the government a chance to make America even more of a welfare state. Use reasoning rather than one interpretation of religious fundamentalism. It’s interesting how so many people who are anti-abortion are pro-war and pro-death penalty.

I can’t believe that a person would use that kind of an excuse to terminate a human being’s life. Who are you to determine what is an acceptable quality of life for anyone except yourself?
I can tell you from personal experience being born to a mother who was both abusive and a psychopath, that God saved me out of that situation. For 5 years I was beaten several times a week. Why no one intervened is pretty clear. They didn’t know. We moved a lot and other reasons. The kindness of Christian people was what led me to become the person I am today, with a heart for other hurting people. I would never advocate or condone abortion.
Bottom line is, it’s not the child’s fault that the parents are jerks. So saying it’s ok to kill them to “save” them from a life of misery is utter foolishness. Life is hard, and each person has his/her share of heartbreaks and struggles of ALL kinds. Maybe the NWO is doing us a favor by saving us from further suffering? That makes as much sense as what you just said.

Hmm…I wonder how many of the babies aborted worldwide may have grown up with the solutions to the socioeconomic woes you use as justification for butchering them? Abortion is death and death is the religion of the NWO. Just for that reason alone abortion should not be espoused. Outright banning it however…wouldn’t that be fuel for the argument that the pro-life movement wants to restrict and obliterate the freedoms for those who are pro-choice which the Liberty movement is fighting to protect for all? I don’t know…. Perhaps a better solution would be to offer realistic and accessible alternatives to women contemplating abortion. A large number of those seeking an abortion do so out of fear or desperation of some kind. Perhaps the pro-life movement should focus less on picketting and more on developing real alternative choices than facing an unplanned pregnancy “alone” or abortion. (Yes, I do realize that there are some women who use abortion as a method of birth control and people do have to accept the responsibility of the natural consequences of having sex, but most women who choose abortion do not use it as birth control and there are many circumstances where people make poor or uninformed choices or have not been able to consent to sex (ie., rape, child sexual abuse, incest).

Abraham Lincoln was the 12th child in a poor family and if his mother had lived in society today she would have been pressured to abort. Where would our Nation be without the freedom from slavery. You’re right, Roy. I did the same thing you did and I saw/heard nowhere that it mentioned the video. The only thing I’d say is that could be the actual reason, but Abbey’s just not saying so publicly. Support for that is the reason for PP’s injunction against her and Coalition for Life–they aren’t at all restrained from being on the premises; only “certain information” that could “irreparably harm” PP is the focus of its court case.
I did a search for the keywords of this story and came up with this, among other things: http://www.lifenews.com/nat1160.html . Sounds like they had the wrong woman in Infowars’s story. Abbey didn’t work there as long as the woman who is the subject in the link. Not only that, but that news story link is over 4 years old.
I guess mistakes are made. I know the Infowars guys are pretty overworked.
It’s our responsibility to pay attention to the news story and not read into it more than they said, but it is still possible Abbey saw that ultrasound video; it’s just not mentioned outright in this story.

Aside from the fact that polls show an overwhelming majority of women support the right of women to govern their own bodies, whether or not they agree with the individual choice to abort, look to TheGhost’s post above. Early abortions are the chemical destruction of a small group of cells. It is not a formed child, it’s barely more than the number of epithelial cells you lose when you clap your hands for some evangelical fear-monger.
More importantly, I know that many of you want to believe that all fetuses are perfect and sacred creations in the image of christ, but very often there are serious problems – more than deformities, horrible physical ailments that can also impact the mother’s health. If for this reason alone the right to choose is essential.

Thank god I am not like you. My wife put off a profitable career till our kids were grown. She worked in child-care so as to get free child-care as part of her compensation and also be on the same hours as the kids. She now works elsewhere for 4 time what she used to make. We never considered killing our children simply because they made our lives a little more difficult.

That is so true about having as many babies as possible and not expecting things will have to be sacrificed. For instance Alex Jones said he had a headache the other day because a lake in Texas was to be turned into a sewage plant. When one takes Mr. Jones own logic to its ultimate conclusion, one will see that if everyone in ears shot of hearing him rail against abortion, and thats a big lot of ears hearing it too, what if all those ears doubled, and doubled again, etc. and now they’ve all got to get up and go use the toilet, looks like the lake just became a toilet for all those god blessed little miracles. I’m not saying I don’t agree with Alex Jones on everything else he does, but because of his knowledge of eugenics, it has incapacitated his tolerance for a proceedure that can be used responsibly, and as a preventative measure for alleviating bad human conditions, emotional, physical, psychological, individual, family, community, on up, it can be a form of accountability and responsibility. The earth is finite and the space and resourses on it are finite, even if you plant crops again and again, it takes time, and even if things die off, it takes time, nature provides balance and if there are too many of anything, there will be a way where there will become less, its just physical reality.

Why is it considered more humane to force people to have babies they cannot afford to give a decent life to or that they don’t even want? They may regret and abuse the child and that will make many lives unhappy.

Yes, it IS murder. It’s wrong. Most people would agree that killing a baby is wrong. But it is also a woman that has to carry the child and go through the birth. If a baby is going to be born to an unfit mother, I’d rather see an abortion. Most kids aren’t adopted when they go into homes, or they are treated poorly.
I personally think that it is wrong, and I would never in a million years get one.
But if it isn’t legal, people will be getting this done on the hush hush, in underground dirty unsanitary conditions.
So just make it legal, because women will continue to do it. And whatever, if they want to kill their baby it is their choice. Some people can’t handle the real world, like sindexter up here, and that’s why abortion should be legal.

My problem is with the lying and deceitful manner in which “pro-choice” people present abortion. They preach “choice” and “women’s rights,” when that’s not what it really is about. They tell the women who come in that the baby will not feel anything and is not a real human yet, when that is not the truth. Every person who gets an abortion should have to watch the ultrasound of an abortion. If the person still wants to go through with it, then that is her choice. It makes her a horrible person, but at least a well-informed one.
This is a moral issue, not a legal one. The government has no right to dictate morality, and on that I agree with you.

i have a friend who gt pregnant with a guy she has been going out with for yars they both wanted to keep it and the guy was totally against abortion but the baby started making my friend really sick at about 2months into the pregnancy she was weak all the time couldnt eat or drink. sh went about 1wk without eating and she looked as if she was going to die in the end she had to abort it. i think in some situations its ok like this one and in cases like rape. but ofcourse everyone has 2have equal rights n u cant deny some1 something when ur saying its ok 4the other person cos they’ll jst sue for discrimination or something and because of this people will always abuse the system.

The penalty of sin is death and eternal punishment in the LAKE OF FIRE. I am warning you about hell because I love you! You are dead in your sins and headed for hell which is described in the Word as a FIRE THAT QUENCHES NOT(”…the fire is not quenched” Mark 9:44). It is a horrible and terrible place of everlasting torment that people will go because of their sins.

But God has provided a way for each to escape the lake of fire. He sent his Son Jesus(God manifest in the flesh-1 Timothy 3:16) who was conceived by a virgin by the Holy Spirit of God,lived a sinless life, and suffered a horrible death/shed blood and rose again 3 days later to take the penalty of YOUR sins so you dont have to pay for them in hell for eternity! He loved you so much which is why he did it! He is the only one to have fufilled the law perfectly(sinless) and paid the price of the entire world’s sins so that man could be saved on the merits of His perfection(see Romans 5:19). All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust in Him to save you as a sinner). You must admit your lost sinful condition to Him/that you’re worthy of hell, and ask Him to save you by placing complete trust in Jesus ALONE for salvation(an example in the Word of someone doing this- “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:13).It is not even partly by yourselves that you can be saved, but only by the merits of Jesus Christ!

In the old days, babies were sacrificed to Baal, Moloch, and other pagan deities. Often this was the first born that was sacrificed, and the reason it was done was for prosperity. The ability to be a couple working together and not have to worry about taking care of another life, which is actually the blessing of God upon your life, does lead to financial prosperity in a way.
Now people abort their babies for the exact same reason, never realizing that the practice comes from those who worship demons. There have been movies that depicted ancient and barbaric civilizations that were sacrificing a human, and people frown upon this, but now people have science. Science will explain away things in words that the uneducated do not fully grasp and thus feel better about doing things.
Even the word eugenics sounds better than kill everyone.

Humans and dogs have a totally different chromosomal structure, and the condition is impossible in non-humans.
People with Down’s, cerebral palsy and other genetic conditions have been around for centuries and certainly longer, and there are many “lives worth living” that involve physical and mental disabilities. I’d very much like to hear this issue covered, since this show is so “pro life” – or is Alex only “pro” people with perfect health and intellect? That’s the definition of eugenics.
The estimate is about 45,000 2nd-trimester abortions per year for babies with Down’s in the US alone. I faced this choice myself and chose life – my son is 3 and we’ve never looked back.

I’ve noticed that the most strident of “pro-lifers” are male, like Randall Terry; there’s a saying that ‘If men got pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.” Abortion is a tragedy, and it is optioned on a ethical sliding scale from extreme medical need to lifestyle choice. It all comes down to the values and circumstances of the pregnant woman, and those are set long before an abortion is contemplated. But ultimately the choice is hers, and hers alone.
Over the past 20-30 years abortion, an important medical procedure, is being taught in less and less medical schools, thanks to the religiously-charged atmosphere surrounding it, and consequently there are now fewer and fewer medical doctors performing abortions, especially in rural areas. Granted, by dint of isolated purpose Planned Parenthood is somewhat an ‘abortion mill’ (and it wouldn’t have taken me eight years to stop working there) but it is filling an important medical need for women. These patients, along with clinic staff and doctors, are often subjected to harassment, and worse, from people who should re-examine what it really means to be a good Christian.

I was having sex with a girl during college. We were not even serious about eachother.
We broke up and two weeks later she tells me she is pregnant. She was considering an abortion.
I talked her out of the abortion, and I graduated college 6 months later.
Eventually, 3 years later we got married.
I wanted to provide stability for our son.
I had to cancel my plans to go to Law School and got the first job I could get when I graduated. It did not pay as much, but it had insurance and stability. We have survived for nearly 9 years now on less than $30,000 a year.
And I would do it again, in a heart-beat.
My son loves Jesus, and at his young age, he can tell you more about the Bible than most adults I know.
I truly feel sorry for you posters who said that you are glad you had abortions because raising a child would have intefered with your life.
You murdered your own children. What is your life really worth now?
Jesus will have mercy on you, if you ask him now. And your murdered child will be in Christ’s new kingdom to come.
But if you do not ask forgiveness now, you will stand before a righteous judge one day and have to explain why you murdered your own child.

All right. I had to respond to the stupid people that say”It is just a bunch of cells” bull crap. I have a friend that was about to get an abortion. I went and cried and begged and pleaded with her to change her mind and not do it. Well the “blob of cells” is now 5 years old. And is a beautiful, smart, funny, precious little boy. He is the center of her life now. Hummm? Just when did he happen to become a person? Abortion ends a human life. If you believe in ending human life you are no better than the people Alex tells us about.

i use to be in that camp of, should we get rid of “it”.
Then i realized a couple years down the road what i was suggesting. When i said that it was almost like it was a programed response, one i herd many times but it was the only natural response to a surprise pregnancy.
We never went through the procedure due to medical complications early on in the pregnancy surgery had to be done on her to save her life.The baby was only 2-3 months never made it out of the tube and ruptured the fallopian tube.
2 doctors missed diagnosed the problem even with ultrasounds and sound monitors.

Really, chillwell? Is that why an unborn baby responds to a parent’s voice en utero as well as music? What about people who have been born prematurely as many as 3 months who have lived fairly normal lives with little to no health affects? The abortion industry dis-acknowledges that a child is fully developed and that life is unsustainable outside the womb during that period of time. Looks like they are proven liars once again.
