If Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign is looking more and more like the Titanic, she may yet prove to be the unsinkable Molly Brown.
Ask Mike McCurry about the Clintons’ resilience. McCurry worked for Bob Kerrey, one of Bill Clinton’s chief rivals in the 1992 presidential campaign. He remembers the day details broke about Clinton’s efforts to avoid the Vietnam draft, just weeks after allegations had surfaced of an affair with Gennifer Flowers.
“He’s toast,” McCurry told co-workers on the Kerrey campaign. “He’s never going to survive this.” McCurry went on to become Clinton’s chief White House spokesman.
Hillary Clinton was a huge factor in her husband’s 1992 victory — and in any number of other recoveries during his agony-and-ecstasy political career. Now, she’s the one attempting to rebound from 11 straight primary and caucus losses to Barack Obama.
Obama is well aware of the Clintons’ supersized survival instincts. Aides say privately that’s one reason the Illinois senator has continued to go after her so directly rather than adopting a traditional front-runner’s strategy of ignoring his rival.
“I’d hold the obituary” for Clinton, says David Gergen, who served as an adviser to four presidents, including Bill Clinton. “She, like he, has enormous inner reserves upon which to draw. That’s why, no matter what else happens, you can’t discount the possibility that she’s going to bounce back.”

David Gergen? Google up the video where Alex Jones confronts him about the Bohemian Grove. Gergen goes from being friendly, to recoiling suddenly as if Jones had the plauge! It is obvious from this interview, that Gergen deeply fears the establishment, protects it’s secrecy, and chastises Jones for daring to bring up the subject. Much to hide, Mr. Gergen.

I told him that the U.S.A. was on the side of the Communists, and that Hitler was opposing international Communism. He didn’t know what to say, and he had fought in W.W.2. The bottom line is the demonization of the word Nazi is rather silly. As I said the ordinary German soldier, described as a Nazi by most, was just defending his nation, against Communists. It’s not correct to refer to Jews as Nazi’s. How about calling them the correct term Marxists, who were the real terrorist’s. Many historians, such as Ian Kershaw and Joachim Fest, argue that Hitler’s Nazis were one of numerous nationalist and increasingly fascistic groups that existed in Germany and contended for leadership of the anti-communist movement and, eventually, of the German state. Further, they assert that fascism and its German variant, National Socialism, became the successful challengers to communism because they were able to both appeal to the establishment as a bulwark against Bolshevism and appeal to the working class base, particularly the growing underclass of unemployed and unemployable and growingly impoverished middle class elements who were becoming declassed (denounced as the lumpenproletariat). The Nazis’ use of pro-labor rhetoric appealed to those disaffected with capitalism by promoting the limiting of profits, the abolishing of rents and the increasing of social benefits (only for Germans) while simultaneously presenting a political and economic model that divested “Soviet socialism” of elements that were dangerous to capitalism, such as the concept of class struggle, “the dictatorship of the proletariat” or worker control of the means of production.
