Respondents to recent Rasmussen poll view Libertarian Gary Johnson unfavorably while favorably viewing the uber-statists and warmongers Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.
“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 16% of Likely U.S. Voters have a favorable opinion of Johnson, while 20% offer an unfavorable view. Only one-out-of-10 have a strong opinion of him: Two percent (2%) have a Very Favorable view of Johnson, while eight percent (8%) have a Very Unfavorable one,” Rasmussen reports.
Despite the dismal results of the poll – most notably the fact a majority of Americans have no idea who he is, thanks to an almost complete lack of corporate media coverage – Johnson’s campaign tried to put a positive spin on it.
“Simply being included in the survey is more important than the number,” said Johnson Press Secretary Joe Hunter. “Just seeing Gov. Johnson in the poll will invite voters to learn more about him and that is our objective. It cannot be overlooked that we have not yet aired a single ad. Being part of the conversation is the first step, and an important one.”
A first step a little over three months from the election?
Americans apparently believe in forever war, the unconscionable mass murder of hundreds of thousands if not more than a million innocents in Iraq, Libya, and soon in Syria and Iran. They also apparently think banksters and corporatist monopoly men own the country and deserve to loot what remains of its wealth. They also apparently believe the federal government has the right to tax the populace into penury, impose austerity on them, and sell their national sovereignty down the river to an inbred gaggle of global elitists and oligarchs.
Leave it up to the boobeoisie to make the wrong choice every time.
