Pope blesses U.N. flag, calls for “binding international rules”

Pope Benedict XVI spoke to the U.N. General Assembly on Friday, warning nations against undermining the authority of the United Nations by acting unilaterally. The Pope also found time to bless the U.N. flag.
Reuters reports,
"Countries that act unilaterally on the world stage undermine the authority of the United Nations and weaken the broad consensus needed to confront global problems, Pope Benedict said on Friday.
The international community must be "capable of responding to the demands of the human family through binding international rules," said the 81-year-old pope, who spoke after meeting privately with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
He said the notion of multilateral consensus was "in crisis because it is still subordinated to the decisions of a few, whereas the world’s problems call for interventions in the form of collective action by the international community."

The Pope’s comments are of little surprise, given the fact that he has previously called for a "new world order" to combat terrorism, environmental problems, as well as economic imbalances during his Christmas 2005 speech. Pope John Paul II also called for a new world order in a 2004 new years speech.
An interesting perspective on these comments comes from a 1970’s report called the "World Order Models Project." The report was funded by the Carnegie Foundation and Rockefeller Foundations, and was directed by Council on Foreign Relations member Saul H. Mendlovitz. Richard A. Falk, also a CFR member, contributed work to the project.
The project called for the formation of a world government complete with global taxes, a general disarmament program and the elimination of the nation state.
The WOMP project also planned on selling these globalist ideals to the world by using prominent world leaders to promote the plans and begin molding the international dialectic around globalist perceptions. The Pope was named as a possible outlet. The project states,
"Symbolic world leaders such as the Secretary General of the United Nations or the Pope might espouse [the WOMP agenda]… as a program for the future… These kinds of external developments… would initiate a world order dialectic within American politics that would begin to break down decades of adherence to [the Westphalian system] and its infrastructure of values, perceptions and institutions."
In a 1997 paper presented to the Research Department of the Air Command and Staff College, Maj. Bart R. Kessler outlined the plans of the World Order Models Project and many other globalist initiatives. His paper can be read here. Reference to the use of the Pope in promoting globalist ideology, as well as citation, can be found on page 25 of this report.

Any spiritual leader with moral courage would berate the President. Did the “Holy father” ask Georgie Boy about God telling him to invade Iraq? Instead the pope just hints that maybe, just maybe, our gov’t is violating treaties. If the Pope had any balls he would put the pomp and cordiality aside and firmly rebuke the President for his crimes and stress repentance.

I am so amazed that all this is happening now. My mother often told me that the end was coming soon. She is no longer here, however, as I watch the play unfold in front of me and the “actors” produce their parts according to prophecy I am filled with emotion. I am angry that I have lived a lie, believing in a “country” that didn’t really exist. I am frightened for those little ones in the mothers’ arms that will never know the “freedom” we had as kids. I am expectantly waiting for my Lord at the end of all this, but in the mean time I am determined to raise my voice in opposition to those that stand in the way of all WE have had the opportunity to enjoy.

As far as the “church” being involved in this, yes they are knee , no, neck deep. In fact, the creation of the Masons, Freemasons, began with Herod Agrippa shortly after the resurrection of Christ. These people believed they were chosen to be the elite. Interestingly enough, that idea didn’t really completely start there. It went clear back to Nimrod, or “Sargon” of Mesopotamia. He was the one responsible for the tower of Babel, later to become Babylon as well as the story of Gilgamesh which was mostly about him. Oh and did I mention that Nimrod was the grandson on Noah. One thing must be understood, the catholique church as for a long time abandoned the bible the word of God.

This is perposterous. The pope Blessing a flag unknowing what this New World Order stands for. OUR own government taking God from our daily lives and then blessing them for it. This just shows how much people ARE ASLEEP on the issues of this New World Order. Pope is part of NWO, Elites , etc…If you look at the history of the catholic church, it is full of corruption.
I believe there is a “god” or should I say “our creator” but it is these corrupt organizations that have twisted it and makes me second guess the bible.

I’m afraid this post is a over simplification, and the comments are filled with pseudo-truths and lies. The vatican has been, and still is a #1 enemy of the establishment, not to mention the jewish press. The former pope heavily (look it up for yourself on youtube) criticized the plans for a war in Iraq, and what followed? Well the establishment in the US released the pedophile scandale that had known for a decade. This meant enormous losses for the church.
The idea that the pope is a mason or a jewish infiltrator is not a likely one. The catholic church is one of very few world churches who have a explicit condemnation and prohibition against free masonry which is regarded as anti-clerical.
However, the catholic church was and is engaged in UN. A catholic philosopher wrote a lot of the original documents on human rights. And with regard to the wars the former pope surely understood that peace is extremely important. So important he was willing to engage in talks with enemies such as the communists, rich aristocrats etc. The former pope even stated that a new era based on capitalism will be a struggle of much greater scale than beating communism. He knew perfectly well of the greed of the world’s new aristocrats.
When it comes to expressions such as “new world order” I would say you should stop and think for a minute. Anyone could understand that the world is in need of a new order. Alex Jones thinks this order is one where UN have less power etc. Bush might think it is one where his elite fraction governs. And the pope might think one in which christians once again unite and forcefully stand up for human rights and Christian values.
Did you for example know that it leaked that the former pope was afraid that president Bush might be the anti-christ? (And wished he was younger and in better vigour to meet this threat?)
The Catholic church have been engaged in influencing UN in ways they feel are rightous, and why shouldn’t they? We have organisations as Luc(if)er’s trust who drag the whole project in a complete different direction.

The elite wants you to think the catholic church is evil, they want you to conspire against it. Because if you do so, you are helping them to destroy what still is a lot more good than evil.
The pope is surely doing a horrendous job if he is nwo. His teachings are powerful and Christian to the core. And no, saing a hail Mary is not anti-christian (forgot that Jesus told his apostle that Mary is you mother?)
Pray for the Church and the pope. He probably needs it a lot, critical? I would encourage those who wish to honor his memory to reflect on his teachings regarding war and the sanctity of life, and consider the inconsistencies in claiming to be pro-life but supporting the senseless killing of innocent people that inevitably accompanies militarism, or in claiming to be pro-peace and pro-compassion but supporting the legal killing of the unborn.

Members of Congress from both political parties outdid themselves last week in heaping praise upon Pope John Paul II in the wake of his passing. Many spoke at length on the floor of the House of Representatives, and some even flew to Rome for his funeral.
I’m happy to witness so many politicians honoring a great man of God and peace. The problem, however, is that so few of them honored him during his lifetime by their actions as legislators. In fact, most members of Congress support policies that are totally at odds with Catholic teachings.
Just two years ago conservatives were busy scolding the Pope for his refusal to back our invasion of Iraq. One conservative media favorite even made the sickening suggestion that the Pope was the enemy of the United States because he would not support our aggression in the Middle East. The Pontiff would not ignore the inherent contradiction in being pro-life and pro-war, nor distort just war doctrine to endorse attacking a nation that clearly posed no threat to America – and conservatives resented it. September 11th did not change everything, and the Pope understood that killing is still killing. The hypocritical pro-war conservatives lauding him today have very short memories.
Liberals also routinely denounced the Pope for maintaining that Catholicism, like all religions, has rules that cannot simply be discarded to satisfy the cultural trends of the time. The political left has been highly critical of the Pope’s positions on abortion, euthanasia, gay marriage, feminism, and contraception. Many liberals frankly view Catholicism as an impediment to the fully secular society they hope to create.
Both conservatives and liberals cannot understand that the Pope’s pronouncements were theological, not political. He was one of the few humans on earth who could not be bullied or threatened by any government. He was a man of God, not a man of the state. He was not a policy maker, but rather a steward of long-established Catholic doctrine. His mission was to save souls, not serve the political agendas of any nation, party, or politician.
To the secularists, this was John Paul II’s unforgivable sin – he placed service to God above service to the state. Most politicians view the state, not God, as the supreme ruler on earth. They simply cannot abide a theology that does not comport with their vision of unlimited state power. This is precisely why both conservatives and liberals savaged John Paul II when his theological pronouncements did not fit their goals. But perhaps their goals simply were not godly.
Unlike most political leaders, the Pope understood that both personal and economic liberties are necessary for human virtue to flourish. Virtue, after all, involves choices. Politics and government operate to deny people the freedom to make their own choices.

Historically, religion always represented a threat to government because it competes for the loyalties of the people. In modern America, however, most religious institutions abandoned their independence long ago, and now serve as cheerleaders for state policies like social services, faith-based welfare, and military aggression in the name of democracy. Few American churches challenge state actions at all, provided their tax-exempt status is maintained. This is why Washington politicians ostensibly celebrate religion – it no longer threatens their supremacy. Government has co-opted religion and family as the primary organizing principle of our society. The federal government is boss, and everybody knows it. But no politician will ever produce even a tiny fraction of the legacy left by Pope John Paul II.

Where’s God???????? A Deity that has the power to stop this madness but does not intervene is a criminal accessory to it. Why would a “good” god create a world like this and hand it over to evil to control for thousands of years??? What’s the point? How can you people still believe in such a god? Haven’t you suffered enough??? Just imagine yourself a parent. Would you allow your children to suffer as mankind does if you had the power to stop it?? If this god was on trial, it would be convicted of being an accessory to the crime by not intervening or stopping it. By the fruits you know the tree, right?? Well, based on the condition of this planet, you can only conclude that this god is evil because the creation reflects the creator. Look at the NWO. It has all the attributes and powers that the biblical god has. Omnipresence because it can hear our every word and look through walls and track us from satellites. Omnipotent because it can destroy the entire planet and every inhabitant on it with a wide variety of weapons. It can change our atmosphere with chemtrails, create viruses, bacteria and fungi to kill anyone and anything. It can create reality with holograms, media, and internet. It can alter the past and look into the future with remote viewing and psychic warfare. It can control our moods and emotions with frequency broadcasts, cell towers, microwave and cell phones. It can change our DNA with food additives, GMO and frequency beams. It can control our IQ with a wide variety of methods. It can wipe out entire nations and create earthquakes wherever it wants. It can create and steer hurricanes. It can create droughts or floods and destroy agriculture wherever it wants. It can set off tsunamis and burn holes in the atmosphere. It can create human animal hybrids, clone and ultimately create new life forms. This list could go on and on and on. Face it, the New World Order IS god, and the sooner you realise this, the less disappointed you will be while waiting for a man that lived 2000 years ago and who let these very same people crucify him, never comes to our pathetic rescue.

I don’t believe in any religion, but at least there is historic documentation that the prophet Muhammad actually existed and was a historical figure and a specific time in history and that’s something you can’t say about Jesus for which there is NO historical confirmation other than the GREEK gospels and the books of Paulism (most of the new testament) Christianity should be called “Paulism” because it has mostly to do with the teachings of Paul and not Jesus, whom Paul never actually met other than in his demented mind.

What amazes me about your statement is , you sound exactly like me. I always felt I don’t belong here. I am not for this world , and this world is not for me. And as long as Lucifer rules , I just can’t go along with it. But besides that , because my teachings were given at age 3-4 , I KNEW what Jehovah INTENDED for us , and how Lucifer screwed it up and is STILL trying to take it away from us. When I turned and looked at mankind , they seemed to be ALRIGHT with this. But I was not , and decided I never would be. Years passed , and with time and peoples opinions , I started to question the reality of the bible and MY summation of the situation myself. But as things have turned out and picked up lately , it has brought me back , re-instilled my faith , and taught me more. The bible NEVER lied. That’s Lucifer’s job. Jehovah’s restored system with Jesus as ruler will be our ONLY chance. But Lucifer must do his thing first. Don’t worry , it’s burning itself out. No use being angry at yourself or the world , Lucifer is just THAT good at what he does. I used to be mad at myself and my blindness. But since learning of the depth and scope of lying and manipulation , I found it senseless. We’re all in the same boat on that one. Just remember , NEVER too late to turn around , and only you , can’t worry for others. Smile , if he didn’t like you (God , Jehovah) you wouldn’t be here. A little learning and attitude adjustment , you’d be a powerful tool on our side (good).

I have read such articles many times before. My problem is that they prove nothing in the words utter sense. There are plenty of people who claim to have overheard things close to the pope proving him to jewish, mason etc. But we could also ask ourselves, are these people by definition reliable? What tells you that communists and illuminati don’t spend millions of dollars on promoting ill rumours about their enemy? How come there are so many fake images on the internet which have been proven as fake? What honest people published them online? (because the originators often claim to be “true” Christians, honest in constrast to whe “Whore”).
How can you be so certain that this friend of your is telling you the truth? Because he says so? Because he is able to name a few close to the pope?
Surely there has been infiltration within the Catholic church. The communists had a major operation which was about destroying the church, mainly by planting proof (for example proof the pope was an ally of Hitler) of the Vatican being evil. The lavender mafia was a modern version of this, where certain people with ambvivalent sexual behaviours were encouraged to enter priest seminars where this type of behavior sometimes even was encouraged by insiders not being true Catholic Christians.
When it comes to the pope some people seem to find his clothing a proof of him not being Christian. However this type of analysis falls kind of short when you regard that the pope is working almost double full-time, with imense responsibilities, and never takes any real vacation worth its name. So the luxury is more a way for the Vatican to show world leaders that Christianity is something not to be forgotten.
Regarding UN I find the opinion that this organisation is all evil a bit in lack of nuance. Sure there might be some major hidden plans with organisations pushing their agenda, but the idea to enforce good principles (as long as these would be good such as in the catholic manifest of the human rights, asking countries to respect human dignity and not the opposite) is a rather good one.
But then again, if you feel so sure about the pope being so evil I suggest you join the Catholic church and work for what you believe is true Catholic teaching – but also with an open mind to all the truely Christian teologicans and philosophers who might teach you a thing or two about pseudo truths and oversimplifications, as well as not basing your convictions entirely by shallow analysis (for example how someone is dressing, or some chosen quotes – with disregard to all the quotes that do not match in etc). And lies are even worse to base ones judgements on, and unfortunately they are many such on the Internet too, promoted by people who made research entirely with the superstious mind (looking for what they are looking for and disregarding everything that is in total contradictions to the conclusion one is trying to prove)
If the pope is for abortion etc. then why is he doing such bad work? He most be a terrible resource for the nwo defending life, human diginity and promoting core Christian values.
