A new post-election survey by YouGov shows that 69% of U.S. voters do not believe the news media are honest and truthful, and 78% of voters believe news coverage of the presidential race was biased, the Media Research Center, which sponsored the survey, reported today.
“The media are in full panic mode because the American people rejected their leftist agenda — and them,” said MRC President Brent Bozell in a Nov. 15 statement about the poll. “People didn’t believe the nonsense that the media were politically neutral. Even a third of Hillary’s supporters believe they were pro-Hillary!”
The YouGov poll showed that 1/3 (32%) of Hillary Clinton voters believe the media were “pro-Clinton.” In addition, among all voters, 59% said the media were for Clinton while only 21% said the media were for Trump.
Further, 8% of Trump voters said they would have voted for Clinton if they had believed what the media were saying about Trump, the survey revealed.
