US Army paying for commericals on TV program that is overflowing with obscenities, scene after scene of explicit sex, and some of the most gory, blood-gushing violence ever seen on TV.

If you want to help protest against the "the most
outrageous show I have ever seen on
advertiser-supported basic cable" TV, please forward
this message to everyone in your e-mail address book
who shares your family values.
More and more parents and grandparents across the
country are disgusted by the rise of shocking sexual
content, foul language and unbelievably bloody
violence on TV.

My name is Brent Bozell and I'm the President and
Founder of the Parents Television Council (PTC), the
national grassroots organization of nearly one million
members that was founded in 1995 to ensure that
children are not constantly assaulted by sex, violence
and profanity on television and in other media.

The PTC is leading a campaign to stop the degrading
filth on shows that are available to millions of
children...and we're doing it by targeting
irresponsible SPONSOR companies that continue to pay
for the filth.

And today I'm asking you to add your name to a WARNING
TO THE SPONSORS OF "NIP/TUCK," the basic-cable
offering on the FX network that pumps out an
unbelievably raunchy stew of curse words, explicit sex
and nauseating, bloody violence every Tuesday night.

It was Melissa Caldwell, the PTC's Director of
Research and Publications, who described "Nip/Tuck" as
the "most outrageous show" ever on basic cable TV, and
that's saying a lot. Because Melissa and her staff of
PTC analysts record and analyze every minute of every
entertainment program on all the networks and selected
cable channels.

They see it all, and in their judgment, "Nip/Tuck" is
the worst!

If we don't protest this show, we might as well give
up and let the TV filth merchants have their way!

If you want to verify for yourself how disgusting
"Nip/Tuck's" content is, you can read actual details
-- featuring fountains of blood, nudity, explicit sex
acts, and gutter language -- on our PTC web site. But
I warn you, it is grossly disgusting and extremely
offensive.  Read it only if you have the stomach for
it. But whether you read it or not, please go to
http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/action/niptuck2/main.asp
today and add your name to the WARNING TO THE SPONSORS
OF "NIP/TUCK."

These sponsors have financial responsibility for
making "Nip/Tuck's" gross content available to
children in 85% of America's households.

And -- shockingly -- these sponsors include such
nationally-known, "respectable" brand names as Toyota,
XM Satellite Radio, the sports channel ESPN, Samuel
Adams beer, internet provider Net Zero...and the U.S.
Army!

That's right -- the U.S. Army is paying for
commercials on a TV program that is overflowing with
dirty words, scene after scene of explicit sex, and
some of the most gory, blood-gushing violence ever
seen on TV.

And the Army, of course, is paying for those
commercials with tax dollars -- your money and mine!

This must stop! Please go to
http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/action/niptuck2/main.asp
NOW and add your name to the WARNING TO THE SPONSORS
OF "NIP/TUCK."

And if you haven't already done so, forward this
message to everyone in your e-mail address book who
shares your moral convictions.  Let's build a massive
nationwide outpouring of protest to the SPONSORS of
this sewage -- the companies that are paying for it!
Please forward this message now.

Protesting the filth on "Nip/Tuck" is critical because
Ryan Murphy, Creator/Executive Producer of the show,
has made it clear that he has deliberately set out to
shatter every moral barrier.  He told an interviewer:

"It's tough to get that sexual point of view across on
television. Hopefully I have made it possible for
somebody on broadcast television to do a rear-entry
scene in three years.  Maybe that will be my legacy."

In other words, "Nip/Tuck" is trying to pave the way
for depiction of anal sex on broadcast TV!

That certainly doesn't make me want to buy a Toyota.
In fact, it makes me want to tell Toyota and all of
"Nip/Tuck's" sponsors that they'll never have me as a
customer as long as they're paying to put filth like
"Nip/Tuck" on TV.

And it makes me furious that the U.S. Army is one of
the financial supporters of such filth.

I bet you feel the same way.

That's why I'm asking you to forward this message to
everyone in your e-mail address book who would share
your outrage about this kind of total filth on TV.

And I'm asking you then to go immediately to the
Parents Television Council's special web page by going
to
http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/action/niptuck2/main.asp .

The creator of "Nip/Tuck" says he wants to make anal
sex "OK" on broadcast television.

That puts him on the other side of a battle-line from
me and you.

And we need to force these sponsors to decide which
side of that battle-line THEY want to be on. If they
want American families to support their products and
services, they need to stop paying to send filth like
"Nip/Tuck" into American families' homes.

If "Nip/Tuck" couldn't get sponsors, "Nip/Tuck" would
not be on the air, spilling its filth out to an
audience potentially including the children in over 80
million families!

So please do two things today to support the growing
firestorm of protest against TV sponsors who are
contributing to the corruption of children by paying
for filthy and violent TV shows:

1.   CLICK ON "FORWARD" IN YOUR E-MAIL PROGRAM RIGHT
NOW AND SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERY FRIEND'S,
RELATIVE'S AND COLLEAGUE'S E-MAIL ADDRESS, to enlist
them in this campaign to hold sponsors accountable for
the content of the TV programs they pay for with their
commercials.

2.   CLICK HERE
http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/action/niptuck2/main.asp
TO ADD YOUR NAME TO THE PARENTS TELEVISION COUNCIL'S W
WARNING TO THE SPONSORS OF "NIP/TUCK."

We need to generate a massive protest against these
sponsors' irresponsible financial support of such
demented filth.

We CAN change sponsors' advertising policies.  We've
persuaded literally scores of huge sponsor companies
to withdraw or withhold their commercials from
indecent shows in the past, and we can do it again now
-- IF we get a HUGE GRASSROOTS RESPONSE to this
appeal!

Please don't delay.

Urgent thanks!
