Abolish welfare if you are all so against gov. tyranny and the police state. When one is on welfare, the state does have work and ed. rules, and they punish women for getting jobs or getting married. How come none of you complain about that? You are not forced to keep a child, and you are not forced into welfare. Lots of choices out there, but if you make the choice to do drugs and want a baby, you need to stop living off taxpayers.

I suggest we abolish the welfare system for unmarried moms. It should only be for the elderly and truly disabled, and so many of you little freedom fighters fight against the nanny state but are ok with the welfare nanny state that encourages destructive behavior. True freedom requires true responsilbity, and when these two things are no longer connected, you have total social collapse and gov. control. Why do we charge folks with two murders when a preggo woman is killed? It is because the state sees that child as an infant human whose “life” was taken away, so we cant say the kid is a human with a right to life only when it is convenient for mom. Either end this law and officially declare a fetus a non entity or consider a woman carrying a viable child a child abuser. YOu folks see this as a state threat, testing welfare gals for drugs? I say no more welfare. When one is pregnant, they test for all kinds of diseases cuz we want to treat possible issues early on. I wish one of you freedom fighters could see the monstrotsities these kids turn into cuz of momma’s drug use. I wish you could see the deformities and the shaking of newborns in withdrawal. YOu guys think this is soooo unfair, you personally need to support these women and let the scum stay in your house. I am afreaid of the police state as well, so I say lets end the welfasre nanny state and let folks be responsilbe without going to the Big Bad Brother you are all so scared of.

plz dont make this a religious forum ur entitled to your own thoughts but this isnt god forum truth is there is no god god is a tool used to control the masses by having people think jeesus will come down and save the day it keeps them from doing anything about it for example if u have a plumber coming over are going to unclog your drains yourself no your going to wait for the plumber jeesus is just the plumber that doesnt show if there was a god he fucked up we all just created by aliens i have proof what happens when u take one animals from one ecosystem it belonged in and put it into a new ecosystem well that animal runs amok because the ecosystem was not ment for that species who here can honestly say with the overpopulation and the pollution that we were ment for any ecosystem here if we were naturally here we would have a natural meens other than viruses or each other to keep the population in a healthy number if we were put here by god suposidly then we would fit into the worlds ecosystems better

watch what u say i grew up without a dad he died when i was a child my mom did the best she can raising her 4 children it was not her fault i had gooberment assistance growing up but i didnt go out and use that as a excuse to do wrong to other never been in trouble well besides a pot possion charge but i dont respect any law thats not based on moral or ethical reasons hence why i smoke pot i dont drink im a good person so do not sit there and make it seem like all fatherlkess kids are there because of a irresponsible parent there is always 2 sides to every storie if u dont know the fucking people then dont judge them drug test are not the answer and never will be u drug laws and drugs test are just a reason to strip u of your rights well whats left of them that is not all kids grow without a father end up with a low iq or to be trouble makes alot of u people posting on this story need to have a heart damn those are some meen coments

This bill is not for just testing women on welfare. (1) No prenatal care; (2) Late prenatal care after twenty-four (24) weeks gestation; (3) Incomplete prenatal care; (4) Abruptio placentae; (5) Intrauterine fetal death; (6) Preterm labor of no obvious cause; (7) Intrauterine growth retardation of no obvious cause; (8) Previously known alcohol or drug abuse; or (9) Unexplained congenital anomalies.

Likewise, if the only way to stop crime is to watch everyone constantly, then you must be for that too – or not for it because that’s something that would bother you personally.

Drugs and pregnancy always existed but didn’t create the kinds of problems they do now. The drugs weren’t even illegal most of the time. It used to be the family unit that had to step in for an unwed pregnancy, not the govt, and that probably had a lot to do with where the stigma came from, i.e. families created the stigma since they didn’t want to wind up in that situation. They would provide the mother with feedback about the strain her actions caused them.

As a libertarian I hate to say I agree with this even though it is against my fundamental principals. First, if their low income and are/or have children who are recieving government transfer payment, then the Government be the babies daddy and the government has the right to test the women. I also would up it to serilize the women after birth if she has drug or alchohol dependencies. In addition I would sterilize women who are recieving government payments after having two babies and recieving government payments over a two year period. I would also up the anti and enforce DNA testing and make the man pay child support payments. If the man has two children and has missed a year of support payments, I would not put him in jail. Just sterilize him also!
