Protests flare in Iran’s capital as demonstrators, security forces clash

Large stretches of the Iranian capital erupted in chaos and violence today as antigovernment protesters and security forces clashed on the 30th anniversary of the takeover of the U.S. Embassy by radical students.
Amateur videotape also purported to show small, boisterous demonstrations in the Caspian Sea city of Rasht, the southwestern city of Ahvaz and the eastern city of Mashhad.
For the first time in months, there were also credible reports and video footage of a sizable demonstration on the campus of the main university in the northwestern city of Tabriz, the capital of Iran’s ethnic Azeri region and historically a hotbed of political activity.

Sanctions are an act of war. They are the modern equivalent of surrounding a castle and starving the people out. Rarely do they ever get the globalists’ wildest wet dreams to come true – that is – for the people to rise up and conquer the nation for them. Rather it usually makes the besieged country look backwards, the government incompetent, and thus makes us feel much better about dropping bombs on them.
In reality, if Iran was left the hell alone, they would be living in first world standards – in many parts of Iran they already are in spite of the siege. They have subways, trains, buses, and beautiful cities just like any other nation – of course the sanctions make everything seem shitty, but that is purely the work of the Americans.
No the Iranian government isn’t a hall of heroes, but at least they aren’t waging wars across the globe and literally INJECTING their agenda into the world population.

Yes, I think its interesting that it would take place on the 30th anniversary of the takeover of the U.S. Embassy. Why organize the protesters around such a pro-U.S. issue? This reminds me a little of one situation I read about during the protests in July after one of Ayatollah Rafsanjani’s sermons (one of Mousavi’s biggest supporters) when people in the crowd ‘just happened’ to start chanting “Death to China! Death to Russia!” to counter the usual chants of “Death to America”. If you watch videos of this event you can see that at first it’s only a few people among the crowd chanting “Death to China! Death to Russia!” and working everyone else up. Looked like a total CIA psy-op in my opinion.
