Rap Group Public Enemy Warn Of “The Obama Deception”

Public Enemy – one of the most influential rap groups in music history – took an opportunity at the Coachella 2009 festival to warn their audience about “The Obama Deception,” in reference to Alex Jones’ recently released underground blockbuster documentary.
The L.A. Times reports that Public Enemy member Professor Griff, who himself appears in the film, “made repeated references to the “Obama deception,” during the concert in California at which Paul McCartney, Morrissey, the Cure and Leonard Cohen also performed.
Public Enemy’s 2005 album was entitled “New Whirl Order” and included tracks such as “66.6 Strikes Again,” “What A Fool Believes,” and “Revolution”. The band were at their peak in the late 80’s. Their 1988 album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back peaked at #42 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip hop Album charts and is routinely ranked in the top 50 albums of all time, being regarded as one of the most influential and groundbreaking records in history.
Public Enemy, along with N.W.A., were two of the seminal acts in the organic explosion of hip-hop during the latter 1980’s, when the grassroots of the genre was all about black people becoming informed, empowered and strong and breaking free from stereotypical associations with poverty and drugs.

As soon as hip-hop became a vehicle for political and personal awakening, it was seized and devoured by corporate America and MTV, before being gradually deformed into what we see on television today – where black icons rap not about fighting the man or standing up to the system, but about how much money and sex they have while girls with giant buttocks wiggle around behind them.
We continually hear about huge music stars using their gargantuan public platforms to educate the public about the new world order at concerts and gigs.
At the internationally renowned Reading festival In August 2006, Muse front man Matt Bellamy donned a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “Terrorstorm,” wearing it for the band’s headline performance which was watched collectively by tens of millions of people worldwide.

1. The guy in the video was responsible for counting ALL the “Coffin-Liners”.
2. He said there was 100,000 (in all states).
3. Interviewer asked how many were in the field.
4. He couldn’t even guess.
5. Interviewer asks if there are less than 500,00 at this location.
6. Guy says definately less than 500,000 at this location.
7. Says Alex Jones was the one who invented the story, then a bunch of others made youtube videos.
8. They are called “Coffin-Liners” not “Grave-Liners” therefore one is supposed to fit inside a coffin and not the other way around.
9. If you’ve ever seen or lifted a coffin, you would know this to be impossible.

I’m pretty sure they are promoting the film as a different perspective, Chuck D is one of the first influential people to deny Obama an endorsement. Due to the fact he comes form the corporate party (democrats / Republican = Global Corporate Interest)

The global Elite own those companies Chuck D talks about! I understand that you are trying not to generalize or put everyone is this category. You our (in my opinion) are hinting that these “religious lunatics” are Christians. You should have just said it rather than implied it.
I’m one of those “religious lunatics”, i.e., a Christian, and think it is more than a little ignorant to label a whole belief system as being insane. The reason that current events are often linked to spiritual (not religious) belief and prophecy is because the parallels are impossible to ignore.
Over 2000 years ago it was prophesied that a leader would arise (A Global Leader) and that this leader would control all buying and selling through a “mark in the hand or in the forehead.” I think it is amazing that two-thousand years later we can now see this prophecy coming to fruition. There are many articles, facts, inventions (Veri-chip and RFID) currently available that would make exactly what was prophesied completely possible.
Take for instance the Alex Jones interview with Aaron Russo, in which Aaron Russo asks Nicholas Rockefeller what their ultimate goals for the population of the U.S.A. and the rest of the world were…Nicholas Rockefeller then tells Russo that their end goal is to have a chip implanted into every human being in the world so they could control what we buy and sell, where we go, everything we do in our lives. And if anyone refuses to cooperate with Rockefeller’s (And the other Elite’s) New World Order, their chip would be shut off and they would basically starve to death and die, unless they decided to comply.
Given the fact that this was specifically prophesied to happen over two-thousand years ago and that what was written in the prophecy is now underway, it is ignorant to call any of us lunatics or religious nuts. This is only one specific prophecy, there are plenty more that foretold of what would happen in the end times and those prophecies are just as accurate as the one currently being discussed.
The burden of proof isn’t on us Christians, it is on you, the non-believer. If you do not agree with our spiritual beliefs and our way of life that is cool with me, just don’t persecute us for our beliefs. I, in like manner will not preach at you or judge you, or act as if I was better than you or more deserving of salvation than you (which I am not). I believe God works in mysterious and uncomprehending ways, in which we humans cannot possible fathom. And because of that we should all be very careful in condemning or judging anyone in a final or permanent way.
I understand that many people claiming to be Christians (those who follow Jesus Christ and His teachings) persecute non-believers, judge them without cause and call them names. This is not Christ-like behavior, it is not the way Jesus commanded or taught His followers to behave, in fact the opposite is true. People who act in this way should be considered False Christians and treated as such.
All I’m asking for is the benefit of the doubt and to not be lumped in with people who are not following the true teachings of Jesus Christ. The same thing goes for you, I will not lump you in with people who hate Christians just because they say they are Christians, out of ignorance or hate. (unless you reveal yourself by your actions to be one of the people that I just described.)

Touche’ my friend, I’m sorry I offended. It wasn’t meant at any certain religion or belief system but I understand your mix-up.
I would like to inform you I’m a believer of positive\negative energy of the universe. I look upon “god” as an entity of the universe not one man or woman. I also feel that all major religion has their own middleman to this entity (Like Moses, Jesus and Mohammad) So we all believe in this positive energy. To do the right thing
If we would like to discuss Jesus, I fully believe that Jesus is one of the first revolutionary for his era. I feel that he would claim to be a A-n-a-r-c-hi-s-t so he was against any organize rel-igi-on or govern-ment (example protest at the jew temple, also against the head Romans taxes)

I agree with you about the positive and negative energy thing and God being not a man nor women he doesn’t need to be either he is one with all things. God doesn’t believe in polarity, we chose polarity, when we as a human race wanted to seek the knowledge of God. Hopefully, we are experiencing the end of this cycle called polarity. It never said anything in the bible about a chip being implanted into every human being.. it said that many would wear the mark of the beast.. it is you interpretation that this has religious connections.. they bible never specifically implies that chips are to be implanted..

Not true.
The King James Bible says a “mark IN their right hand or IN their foreheads” (Revelation 13:16). Very specific. Of course that’s about as close as you can get using 2000 year old understanding. No integrated circuitry in early A.D.
Interestingly the word ‘in’ is changed to ‘on’ in the new Bible versions. Just one of many reasons we know the new bible versions are corrupted.

They purposely and subtly change a word here or a phrase their in order to obfuscate the original meaning. More often then not the people on the committees that officially created the newer versions are often “slaves to sin” meaning that they are people who openly live in defiance towards God’s word.

I know that I may be repeating other’s coments, but it does need to be stated. I think the word “warn” is the the wrong choice. It implies that Public Enemy is against “The Obama Deception”. The headline should read, “Rap Group Public Enemy Endorses “The Obama Deception”.

Also, if you must reply to a troll – never never write directly to them. Write “about” them, make “reference” to them, but do not address them directly. Usually it’s best to ignore them completely.
You give trolls power by recognizing them. You give them power by reacting to their hacking. Not all trolls are paid hacks. Many are simply selfish people who can only garner pleasure through attacking people anonymously. They are people who would never speak up in public – they are cowards. They use bulletin boards and comment sections to badger people from the safety of their homes. This is certainly not a new phenomenon.
I’ve been doing bulletin boards for nearly 20 years. Trolls are not going to go away. You just have to learn how to live with them and how to ignore them properly. It’s a sign of board maturity when commenters know how to handle hacks, shills and trolls. I think us Infowars people are getting a handle on this. I’m proud to be a part of this movement.

Professor Griff is hardly a celebrity. And Chuck D had NOTHING to do with this. He’s campaigned for John Kerry and regularly voices his pride over Obama’s election.
If anything, Griff’s just excited that AJ gave him a soapbox that he hasn’t had since he made that comment against Jews in the late 80s that got him kicked out of PE.
So, the title of the article should read: “Professor Griff Warns of Obama Deception.” I’m so tired of infowars spitting out half truths because they know it will excite their audience and never taking responsibility for their mistakes. Even the “elite” print CORRECTIONS.

I agree. As someone who grew up with PE, Eric B & Rakim, and lived through the renaissance of east coast hip hop in the early to mid 90s (Wu Tang, early B.I.G., Group Home, Gangstarr, Jeru, Tribe, D.I.T.C., etc…) it’s so saddening to see that hip hop has become all about ring tones and garbage like Soulja Boy. I don’t blame the “NWO” for this. Just greedy record executives.
But Watson’s piece is beyond misleading. The only member of PE who has said anything about the Obama Deception is Professor Griff, which makes sense because Alex gave him the most exposure he’s had sionce he made his comments about Jews in the late 80’s that caused PE to kick him out.
Chuck D. is extremely active politically. He was an original host on Air America, campaigned for John Kerry and has voiced his pride in Obama’s election very loudly. And while I’m sure he disagrees with some of his policies, he’s certainly respects the man and sees his success and something that PE helped open the door to.
So the headline shoudl read “Public Enemy Back Bencher promotes the Obama Deception.”
And for the record, I think people should criticize and pounce all over Obama. I’m just tired of Alex Jones and his half-truth’s that mislead people in the same way the “elite” does.

The track itself would make you all smile knowing a multi-platinum band is releasing material like this to the masses. Other band that comes to mind is Story of the Year. You might not enjoy those types of genre but some bands don’t sell their souls.

We are doing our best, and are having great success at it. That is all we can do for now, and we should be happy with everyone we get to think about what is going on around them. Since Faux is now trying to CO OPT the truth movement we should know that it is because of what we have done here the last few years, and the amount of people we have woke up. By making the network here bigger, we have scared the mainstream ones enough to try to take it over so they can control the direction of it. I’m with you…this is obviously becoming troll central. All the semantic arguments, all the silliness. Public Enemy threw Griff out of the band when he got into it with some reporters and referred to them by a Jewish comment. Public Enemy was drummed OUT OF MUSIC while having the NUMBER ONE ALBUM IN AMERICA, for the song ‘By The Time I Get To Arizona.’ That song was about the fact Arizona wasn’t celebrating MLK Day. After that, it became gangsta garbage, and the message of spreading information and empowerment was lost forever in hip-hop. (Sorry, being the best drug dealer or fake gang banger isn’t empowerment…)

Whites arent so “savage” because western culture is theirs.. for the black people, Indians, etc. theyre trying to live in a culture that doesnt count them in (blacks are three fifths of a man) and Indians are ’savages’ according to the constitution..
To try and live in a culture you dont fully understand is very hard as you probably know. We’re all the same under our skin but we have different mentalities, its a cultural bias. And thats the problem.

I saw Public Enemy on their recent Australian tour in January. They didn’t have Professor Griff with them, and they were stopping the audience to cheer that a black man was in office, and to bless Obama.
Needless to say I was very dissappointed to see that Public Enemy had the wool pulled over their eyes with the black face.
But Professor Griff who has been in and out of the group for being too radical, back and back in charge!!

I think that Public Enemy is really promoting Alex’s The Obama Deception. They’re not cool-aid drinkers. Maybe a future interview (telephone conference) could be done with Public Enemy and/or some good political hip-hop artists together with Cynthia McKinney, who has acted as a shil for the Democratic Party to some extent but is a promoter of politically aware hip-hop.

Right, and just as say, Morgan Reynolds doesn’t speak for the entire 9/11 truth movement (at least I hope not), Professor Griff does NOT speak for PE as a whole. If someone can show me ANY evidence that Chuck has condemned Obama and revoked his endorsement, please let me know.

I don’t hate Obama supporters, I feel kinda sorry for them if they thought there was going to be some hope of cleaning up The United States Government Crime Syndicate.
