Homeland Security claims far reaching power over your guns
Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania gun owners breathed a sigh of relief at the Heller vs. DC Supreme Court ruling, but the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania (LPPa) warns that major threats to gun rights still exist. One such threat is REAL ID, the federal mandate turning driver’s licenses into national ID cards.
The long-term plan for REAL ID is to force its biometric ID functions on federal, state, local and private entities for all transactions. Thus, ID confirmation by a distant bureaucracy becomes permission for essential daily activities including banking, doctor visits, transit, school attendance and purchases — including guns.
According to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) final rule handed down in January, DHS “will continue to consider additional ways in which a Real ID license can or should be used and will implement any changes to the definition of ‘official purpose’ or determinations regarding additional uses for Real ID consistent with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. DHS does not agree that it must seek the approval of Congress as a prerequisite to changing the definition in the future.”

Do you want to risk your gun rights on the appointment of someone opposed to our second amendment rights as Secretary of Homeland Security?
“The very thought that the sale of firearms and ammunition could be stopped based on some political agenda in Washington is frightening,” remarked LP Activist Mark Crowley. “We saw the disastrous consequences of such an agenda in New Orleans during Katrina when some police abandoned their posts leaving citizens defenseless and criminals armed. We must never put Pennsylvanians into a position where they can only hope that distant Washington bureaucrats will do the right thing.”
“The implementation of REAL ID presents a significant threat to gun ownership in the United States of America.” added Michael Robertson, LPPa Chair.
By participating in REAL ID, Pennsylvanians will be subjected to scrutiny by a host of federal agencies with every swipe of a REAL ID card. This is de facto gun registration, only worse. Once a gun buyer is identified, other information such as military service, purchases, rentals, travel, and medical history will be easily cross-referenced and subjected to interpretation. It’s inevitable that politicized standards will emerge that can be used to deny Pennsylvanians the right to keep and bear arms — everyone except violent criminals and politicians’ bodyguards.
LPPa Media Relations Chair, Doug Leard, added, “A few years ago when the NICS [National InstaCheck System] computer system crashed, no one could be validated for a gun purchase. A political agenda is one thing and bureaucratic incompetence is another. When a state submits to REAL ID, it submits its citizens to the possibility of being denied not just gun purchases, but ATM cash, credit card purchases and even a critical prescription pickup. Pennsylvania must emphatically reject REAL ID.”
The LPPa urges Pennsylvanians to contact their state legislators and instruct them to support state House Bill 1351 and state Senate Bill 1220. Be wary of other recently introduced legislation such as H.B. 2537 that claims to oppose REAL ID, but ignores the central issue of biometric data collection of Pennsylvanians.
Despite the Heller case, the anti-gun movement will continue to seek alternatives to eliminate our gun rights. REAL ID provides them an unguarded backdoor. Let’s nail it shut in Pennsylvania.

God help us. The 2nd amendment is not about hunting deer or turkeys. It is ABOUT RESISTING A TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT. This is the amendment that protects all the other our other rights – God given or otherwise. What part of “shall not be infringed” is confusing to anyone?
I realize some won’t be able to avoid the card, but for many refusing it will be an option. I rarely fly and never visit any federal courthouses. So what the hell do I need a REAL (BS) ID for? Oklahoma rejected the card and also declared it’s sovereignty from the federal government citing the 10 amendment. If your state is trying to impose the will of the FEDS on you, tell ‘em to f--- off and come to Oklahoma – we’d love to have more patriots!

You guys are not seeing the whole picture here. These ID cards are being implemented to PROTECT us from the enemy. If the gov. was really as bad as you make them out to be, then they would not have spent all of this time building this infrastructure here in this great country of ours protecting us from the threats abroad.

Truth is, if we aren’t taking the responsibility to protect ourselves, than our government is more than willing to implement what is required, which is generally money and people, to accomplish that task. Why? Because Americans ask for them to protect us with security. So, apparently this is their solution to our security problem. ID CARDS. I wonder what the budget is for this little project.

ID cards tied to your bank accounts. Why? Because, when the Inquisition is instigated outright in this and other Western countries…your holdings will be automatically know and taken. Homeland Security is the US arm of the Ingquisition, which is why most of the law that extablished it deals with rules acting as a clearing house for the wealth and property of all ‘terrorists’/'heretics’.

How does giving YOU an ID card protect you from the enemy? (The 9/11 hijackers used fake ID’s you think it won’t be done again? You think someone won’t be paid to make up a fake ‘real ID’ or even give them a real one when they shouldn’t get it?)
How does tracking everything you do protect you from the enemy?
How does preventing you from being armed protect you from the enemy?

I would contend that REAL ID and other recent policies show that We the People are the enemy and the government has declared war on us. Espionage is an act of war. Congress has recently approved domestic espionage without a court order or warrant on your domestic communications. They are trying to implement a system to track everything you say and do.
If that isn’t treason, I don’t know what is.
YOU ARE THE ENEMY they are trying to protect themselves against.
They know the economy is going to the crapper, and they know how it will go down with the people. Their only hope is to fool you into being docile enough to do whatever they tell you.
The fact that our borders are wide open is the smoking gun as to who they think the enemy is. (hint, he isn’t ‘out there’)
And what infrastructure exactly are they building to protect us? Everything they are doing is designed to keep us IN the country not others out. Everything is designed to CONTROL and MONITOR you, not protect you.
Finally, it is not the responsibility of government to protect you. That is your responsibility. That is why we have a second amendment protecting our right to be armed. (the Constitution does not grant rights, it seeks to protect them)
Your life is a gift, you have an obligation to protect it. (and a fiduciary duty to those who cannot, especially your family) The only way to do that is by being armed, trained, and knowledgeable in the use of those arms for self defense. That is why you have the right to keep and bear arms, because you have the responsibility of self defense.
“Self-Government” is not about electing someone else to do what you should be doing. Self-government is governing of the self and taking responsibility for one’s self.
Pop quiz, who has killed more people: criminals, terrorists, or government?
If this country doesn’t relearn that soon, it will be an American Holocaust you witness and live, at the hands of our own government, and there won’t be any freedom loving country to come save you this time.

I know a guy who was on public assistance for about a year. He saved up enough money to buy an SKS, (4) 30 round banana clips and 500 rounds of ammo at a gun show.
I laughed when he showed me his rifle. I thought the irony was great. The FedGov gave him the means to fight it.

I have already given up my STATE ID. I carry an expired passport or nothing at all, even while traveling. I am NOT a US Citizen, nor subject to the jurisdiction of the US Government. No real id for me, or any other state ID.

I just baught a 22 rifle 3 months ago it took twenty minutes to do a background check. I went to buy a bushmaster a2 m4 todaY and they delayed my purchase for up to 3 days. Why would they do this I did not have any problems 3 months ago, I have not been in any trouble. Is it because I have been visiting this site?

All I have to say is “You want my guns? Well come and get them because I aint going out like that!”
I have a friend that lives in Chicago and damn those people there are so dumb. Some know their 2nd Amendment rights but most don’t. They have this evil view of firearms and think its a good thing to have a ban on them in that city. Well my friend came to Dallas one time and we went to the gun range and he was amazed at the fact that I could just put my gun and ammo in the car and drive to the range with it to shoot. I told him that is his 2nd amendment right and decision to own a weapon not that crook Mayor Dailey’s. As far as the ID thing goes, they have been training kids to wear ID’s in the high schools since the Columbine shooting in Colorado. Like having an ID on your neck is really gonna stop a crazed gunman from storming into a school and opening fire on students. The high school ID thing is to train and desensitize the youth that wearing and ID and being stopped and asked who you are is normal. Hello Soviet America please get in line for the trip to the gulag.

Humble man I tried to buy an old WWII rifle from Big 5 and it got delayed 1 week (5 dys) and then I when to a different spording goods store and walked out with a brand new hunting rifle the same day.

Ten years ago I put on layaway at my local pawnshop a Ruger .357 Magnum.One month later when my final payment was made,I failed the Background Check.Keep in mind I have never been convicted of a Felony nor has a Restraining Order ever been levied against me.Maybe it was the fact that I was a card carrying member of the JBS at the time.

some of you are really nieve if you think that people who comit crimes with guns go about getting them by legal means… The majority of crimes comitted with firearms are done with stolen weapons, so tracking people who buy them legally does absolutly nothing for stopping crimes comitted with firearms… The only thing it does do, is track thoes people that have bought them legally… If and when it ever comes to the point where they start confiscating weapons, who’s weapons do you think they will confiscate first? Thoes that bought and registered thier weapons legally, or thoes that either stole them or bought stolen weapons? What you will end up with is weapons only in the hands of criminals and the people they are comitting crimes aginst will be defenseless…

well unfortunately I live in the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania with a terrorist as governor I the wonderful Ed Rendell whom has limited the purchase to all guns to one a month and then it’s at the digression of the powers to be if you are allowed to buy it or not and in order to even buy one you need to get your weapons permit 1st and that is at the whim of the county sheriff and we all know how something like that will end up and if you try to stand up for your rights under the document that the AZ FBI has deemed a terrorist document (the constitution) you get well let’s just say I have a standing reservation in room 101

Here’s a fact that most people don’t understand: THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS RIGHTS. Rights are ideas, not things. They are imaginary, products of our minds, not guaranteed property. What right to life does a man dying of thrist in the desert have? What right to life does a person dying of AIDS have? The only inalieable right is the one to the pursuit of happiness, because you can continue to pursue happiness even from a jail cell. The reality is that you only have the rights that you choose to TAKE FOR YOURSELF. Hence the reason the Consitution gives us the ability to have firearms. If the government wants to take your guns away, start shooting them more often. The anti-gun crowd is the unarmed one, they can’t force their will on us without our consent.

It pains me to see people that don’t read the bible and have an illusion that they believe in truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. All throughout the bible, it references truth. How can you believe in truth and not Jesus. Maybe for some, it is a false truth. We have to be founded on the rock. I love to challenge ignorance. Everyone not believing in God, should do a research paper. Actually, they should set the beer down for a bit and take a community college level english course where they can learn to write a research paper, and then research all avenues of truth. I know, the beer and hellivision are too powerful. You just can’t resist them.

All this talk about guns. Someone said something about Waco. I spit on the graves of those dead ATF. They came in there shooting first. David had a right to protect themselves and his family. They came up with some BS reason to go in and went too far. If you look into Waco, the Fed gov’t trampled all over their rights. They had to cover up the evidence by burning that place down. Ruby Ridge…remember that? The Fed gov’t killed the son and the mother. The snipers were ordered to kill anyone they see. That whole thing was because the ATF set him up. I like to keep my guns. But we all must try to live by what ever laws they give us. It may seem like a crock but time will previal. Fighting to prove a point will not bring you nor your friends or family back from the dead. You must choose the fight, and don’t play by their rules. They will break them. Just ask the Native Americans. I like what another poster said. Keep off the grid, prepare yourself, and get your bug out bag ready. When they come for you, it will be at 4 in the morning so you might not even have the chance to fight. Better yet, support the NRA. Write letters, phone, or email everyone in Congress. Get a poll by going door to door that you oppose thos bills. Make a you-tube vid and send it out. Get the Word out! Wake everyone up! The 80% that refuse to wake up are dead anyway. So save the ones willing to listen. Peace!

I live in the Commonwealth of PA also. Right in the clutch of Harrisburg. I’ve met many good people through the Ron Paul/Liberty movement but we have to continue to “effect change” as the popular term goes.
State Rep. Rorher, State Senator Folmer, Jim Compton and many others have taken the Real ID and PennDOT head on here. Call your reps, attend a meetup, get involved!

I agree with you Mark even us in the truth movement are freaking zombies..
I’m Muslim and all I hear is how militant we are the last time I checked Christians, and Jews
were behind 9/11 and invading countries based on false flag.
The truth is the US can control gun violence, and they choose not to because it’s money to be made.
It’s real simple serial numbers on ammunition. I bet nobody would trade ammunition then.
It’s hard to shoot when your bullet is linked to you.. To top it off there’s more Drivers Licenses than gun owners. So, I don’t know what the problem is.
Think about if I shot a sniper rifle at somebody how hard is it to trace how many people own sniper rifles. But, then again they sell us this s***, incarcerate us, hospitalize and bury victims.
I guess they like violating civil liberties and making money off us at the same time.

Did He not say that Christ was “the truth” and “the way”?
If you do not believe that what is happening in the world today is spiritually related, then you miss the absolute truth.
Let me ask you this: why would Rockefeller and the likes of him, and his minions, want even more money? More power?
Those with money and power currently have absolute freedom in this material world as is. Why would they seek more by ruining us? What do they have to gain, if it is not a spiritual war?
If you do not believe Christ is the truth and the way, and if you do not belive this war on the people everywhere is spiritual, then you might well be appeased of your angst if you just become one of them. Why not? You could sell your soul, out-source your values, and obtain thereby the money and power that the elite rulers have.
If you fight this infringement on yourself and your personal freedoms – freedom to live, to love your family, to know and pursue truth – then your ultimate end game is spiritual salvation or else your argument is in vain and you might as well submit.

My research finds on the pennyslvania web site that they have supported house bill 1351 but have found nothing on bill 1220 or 2537.

Every freedom loving patriot should start stocking up on guns and ammo ASAP, short on money ? no problem ! I’m sure you can afford $80 for a rifle and you can’t go wrong with the WW2 battle proven M91/30 Mosin Nagant 7.62×54 mm . Ammo is quite cheap too , it can be had in bulk cases of 440 round tins for around $70. These guns are plentiful , can be found all over , gun shows , pawn shops , gun dealers , ect. VERY reliable and accurate for the money. Russian soldiers in WW2 regularly made 400-500 yard shots with them. I’d recommend every household not just buy 1 for each person but at least 2 if not 3 per person, while they’re still cheap and available, look down the barrel with a pen light for pits and fouling before you buy it, a very awesome gun to be so old !

Hakim, Thats why we need to buy old WW2 combat rifles and surplus ammo. Corrosive or not, use it/clean immediately and the bore will be fine. SKS, einfield, mosin, SVT etc.

Jesus is the most quoted “prophet” in the Quran. Muslims believe that the original Christian texts were authentic divine revelations given to prophets. How can the “Unholy Nation of Islam” invade Israel, when the Israeli Khazzers(Eastern European converts to Judaism) are the invaders. There are many orthodox(real) Jews who are against the secular “state” of Israel. Israel is a Kingdom, not a state and Jesus is the king of said Kingdom. This isn’t a religious conflict, it’s a purely Geo-political. All the televangelists are just talking heads for the Zionist(creation of a western/secular Jewish state in the middle east) movement. Also, the U.S and Britain seem to get along with the Sauds/Emirs just fine. As long as they keep the oil flowing and don’t return any profit to their people. That, after all is the real crime of Iraq, Iran any other country that nationalizes it’s oil or any other industry. How about Venezuela, Cuba or any other “Godless Communist” country, will they feel judgement for their sins against the western bankers. These prosperity Gospel “Christians” like John Hagee or Pat Robertson(The Bush/CIA asset) are basically serving the interests of the western bankers. “IN GOD WE TRUST” is not a reference to the God of Abraham. The Federal Reserve is the “Trust” and it’s unseen owners are the God.

We, as Christians belive in the Trinity because we have been given understanding of the three persons of the one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. “Trinity” not a biblical term, but a metaphysical understanding based on scripture. Therefore, to say that there is only one God doesn’t deny the trinity, but affirms it.
The Ark of the covenent was taken from the Temple by the Babylonians and despite many theories of it’s whereabouts probably won’t be seen again until the end of days in heaven.

If you really want to fight “The Beast”, support the movement to get rid of the Federal Reserve. This will democratize your monetary system and would be better for America and the world ultimately.

We live in a restricted world and until we can stop suppressing the truth about reality and our connection to each other we will never make it. Jacque Fresco is coming up in Zeitgeist 2 coming out in october and i fear that his message may be getting out to late. All goverments have collapsed in the past and you need to advance socially to the advancing technology before we slip back into serfdom. It is not money but resource access that is important. So please look up jacque and his word as much as you spread alex’s.

You’ll have to look it up yourself if you want to know as ive forgotten the details,but at some point mohammed and his robber friends invaded some pagan house of worship, full of idols. They took most out and smashed them, but kept one. An idol of a man with a moon on it. This is Allah, their moon god, one false god of many from the temple, but strangely the one he kept. Another time Muhammed, when given his “sacred texts” was seized and assaulted by the “Angel” giving it to him. Muhammed himself thought it was a devil and not an angel, it was his wicked wife who convinced him it was an angel. Islam claims jesus was a prophet and NOT the son of God(therefore God) so as to lead their followers into damnation by rejecting Jesus as the messiah, believing him to be a simple prophet.
Jesus IS the son of God, God made flesh and come to earth for the Lord to 1:Spread his word, 2:sacrifice for our sins, and 3: to be closer to his children.
