With the announcement last month by Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff of the final implementing regulations for the much-delayed Real ID Act, the debate over this thinly veiled national identification card project moved into high gear.
The federal government for several years now has been fighting a guerrilla action with citizen groups and a number of state legislatures over imposing on the states and the citizenry this privacy-intrusive and costly mandate. With the announcement Jan. 11 of the final regulations, the debate is fully joined and pits those who support the principle of states’ rights against the legions of Big Government advocates.

I am not getting it, they can shove it.. Once this is implemented it is only a matter of time before they finsish off the rest of our rights..They will have crossed the line with this act..

This Real ID topic is about 100% complete and total control over humans by an elite class intent on protecting global corporations and its own interests from anyone who might oppose them. Real ID will not assist in preventing ongoing corruption nor will it ensure equal justice under our currently tainted judicial process. Since it does nothing but place us all under totalitarian oppression it will ensure control of all our movements from city to city, state to state and even employer to employer. It is nothing more than a tool of racists to assist in fascist behavior. It will eventually be used to identify and kill those that the State deems unworthy.

I’ve talked to intel. insiders that say Alex’s children have been threatened; that is to say Alex was told his children would be targeted. I am very interested to see what kind of ID I will get in May of this year and whether or not I must prove that I am a citizen of the U.S. like I did when I was 15 1/2 many years ago. Kentucky has not protested the National ID. I hear it’s supposed to start in May. Very interesting. I already qualified for a U.S Passport so I can visit Canada. What else do they want?

Real ID is an insidious evil, spent three days recently in the Pa capital educating polyticks about Real ID AND animal ID,different programs ,same parisite behind both programs, If you want to know more about these threats drop Aaron Bolinger a line at discipleaaron@hotmail.com (Aaron is the fella who helped write the SC law that banned Real ID there),we have biult quite a coalition of groups all opposed to this junk) he is now here in Pa and we have been starting anti Real ID and animal Id groups all over the states,check and see if theres one in your area or maybe you can be the person to start one,we need y’all to beat this facsist govt and to preserve liberty,tell Aaron” Reb” sent you, thanks

you know, i hear people talk an read the words typed in comment forums. it would seem that most agree that this country has not been “free” for quite some time. but we are lost in a huxley novel and simply retelling the mantras with little comprehention of what they mean. “land of the free” “home of the breave” “a gram (of prozac) is better than a damn” and so on and so on.
the question is… what are we prepared to do about it?
our leaders are deaf to our plight, the system is built to defeat us, and even though we have the numbers…we would rather type in chat forums or the “blogosphere” what ever the hell that means.
regardless, im reminded of an old cliche. TALK IS CHEAP. in france (which for some reason americans think the french are weak or whatever) they have NATIONAL GENERAL STRIKES ove labor issues or the like. americans would rather play video games or watch TV about lousy people doing stupid things, or throw away things made of plastic than stand up for themselves.

If you watch TV you have certainly seen the VISA commercials, everything is going smooth then the guy pulls out cash and screeech it all screws up. They have just started advertising the PRECURSOR to the hand chip. People have already pretty much accepted the debit card, it’s quick and easy. Now this new ad you don’t even have to swipe it, just hold the card over the box. It has a chip in it. They’re testing the waters for this and once people accept it the next will be a ring, or a hand chip.
