Rep. Burgess: Congress “under Martial Law” to pass banker bailout bill

Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX) reports from the floor of the House that the Republicans have been cut out of the process and called unpatriotic for not blindly supporting the fraudulent bailout. He says the only debate has been about what talking points to use on the American people. The most ominous revelation is when he claims the Speaker has declared martial law.
“I have been thrown out of more meetings in this capital in the last 24 hours than I ever thought possible, as a duly elected representative of 825,000 citizens of north Texas.” Said Congressman Burgess.
Burgess asks the Speaker of the House to post the bailout bill on the internet for at least 24 hours instead of passing the largest piece of legislation in US financial history in the “dark of night.”
The most frightening part of Rep. Burgess’ one-minute floor speech is when he says, “Mr. Speaker I understand we are under Martial Law as declared by the speaker last night.”

“martial law” refers to some congressional procedure where they’re allowed to vote for the bill soon. It was discussed in length on the prisonplanet.com forums.

Well, poking around a little bit I’m not sure if this is full, all-out martial law (it may be more a congressional thing; the way the way they’ve been “forcing” them to pass bills quickly ever since the Patriot Act), but I do think he was trying to tell us something. Along with Rep. Kaptur. We cannot put up with this!

Well, I’d love to read all about that explanation at prisonplanet.com forums. but, that asshole SANE/ROCK keeps banning everyone who disagrees with him, or anyone who he just decides he doesn’t like. It’s not martial law in the sense of troops on the streets loss of freedom of speech, etc (even though all of that is coming) it is an internal House procedure that forces everyone to vote on the bill or be held in a sort of contempt like in court.That is as much as I know about it except that they used it during the Iran-Contra hearings to keep Congressman from digging too deep into that mess.

What it means to have “martial law” declared over the congress is they can push forward with their “make bankers richer and more powerful bill” without the congress voting it through. In other words, those congressmen who want to take time to read and debate before voting, must shut up and vote whether they like it or not. It’s just an in your face dictatorship in my opinion. I’m kinda mixed on this martial law thing. If the bill doesn’t pass and the bankers collapse the economy then we’ll see martial law for sure. The bail out bill may buy the American people some time before full scale martial law is declared. Who knows? Everything is so secretive in Washington these days that it leaves everyone to speculate on the what’s happening…

I think this is the lead up to Martial Law but not in an “official” capacity. They may not do this on a grand scale or in an officially declared scenario immediately, they may begin to enforce this at the lower levels so as not to panic the people and to maintain greater control and also to enable them more time to compile their lists of anti NWO people before the round-up.
This Martial Law is more than likely, at present, only declared for the Congress as a means to facilitate the passage of this rip off of the people. Under normal circumstances it would take days or weeks to get a bill passed and by commy Pelosi declaring Martial Law in Congress the Emergency powers are activated and Congress is forced to “push” a bill through as if it were an emergency, so Martial Law for the people is probably days or weeks away.
It is possible that you may begin to see police check points all over in preparation for the official declaration so be prepared for that.
Once you notice the politicians becoming less public and outright disappearing, then it is time to move to a “safe” location as this means they are preparing for the Martial Law in an “official” sense and at that time your travel will be very limited and possibly even stopped completely, so prepare NOW and when it comes you will be ready.
BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS!!!! I cannot stress this enough, Be aware of ANYTHING that appears abnormal. Blackwater Security will likely be doing operations in the US and you will see roadside bombs being deployed after this declaration as a means to show you who is in control and this is NOT Al-quaeda doing this! This is CIA!
DON’T get yourselves into a gunbattle by you attacking them, Let them fire first!
Carry Food and water, they will likely poison the water supply to bring you down quicker, without it, you will die!
Be aware of weather conditions, don’t get caught without the proper clothing and protection for whatever conditions exist.
Create caches of food and water in various locations adjacent to your “safe” location and only go there under cloudy conditions or at night. Speaking of night….. Use a RED lense on your flashlight at night to help protect your night security and to save your night vision capabilities.
We are fast approaching Winter, make sure you have winter clothing and if your on foot, change your socks often so you don’t freeze your feet, you need them to be clean and dry.

I was reviewing the Bailout Bill and it seems like a contract between the taxpayers to pay for the Federal Reserve debt they are going to run up. Only 2 items under section for ending of agreement. Paying back the money. And paying back the money.
To me as I read further. It also wreaks of a war treaty signed when a country surrenders to the enemy and they dictate their terms for peace.
Did we surrender to some country or secret group?

Well this must be it right? This is the part where we who see should act, right? OK. What do we do? First determine how you think “things should be.” Then, if you are a renter, pack up your stuff in storage, put in your 30 days, buy 1 months foodstuffs, quit your job. If you are an a owner-to-be (haven’t paid final yet), do the same, but coordinate your response with neighbors who are in same category (haven’t bought property yet). If you own, you will need to coordinate security too. Then we all stop showing up to work. Don’t buy anything for a whole month. Attend picnics, pot-lucks, but DON’T BUY ANYTHING. Unless you do it by barter or your own invented and agreed upon scrip. These bankers intend to own us, so we must starve them out first, while we can. We do this for a month, and maybe we will accomplish a Gandhi and we can refit our nation for the next millennium.
Assuming the planet doesn’t suffer from some internal imbalance that impairs it’s EM field which coincides with a time when our part of the galaxy will be passing through another galactic-sized body of highly charged particles which fries everything on the surface, this should succeed!

Martial Law is Martial Law……….make no mistake. Cake is Cake and Soda is Soda! It is what it is, but just applied to the congress. (as this poor sap stated – They have not been able to question anything for 22 months!!! Outrageous!) As your leader is Head of the Military, he alone has the right to initiate Martial Law. It is then up to congress to either abide (Do nothing) or Challenge, which then goes to a Jury. Good fucking luck I say!
What is of concern is the method in which it is being initiated to you. Slowly and over time it has been increased and implemented….until you don’t even know it. The “Politically Correct” movement has a hell of a lot to answer to. This has been the greatest restriction of FREE SPEACH ever! and has no doubt been a tool for the elite to rule. This whole situation runs much deeper than what we know and think we know. Some say it has been 50yrs, some say 200yrs, I say…..it has been going on FOREVER! It’s the continuing struggle between good and bad, and will be forever. MARTIAL LAW IN THE UNITED STATES? MILITARY STARTS MISSION OCT 1ST
The commonwealth of Kentucky seizing domain names, the state of California banning home schooling, our banking sector in crisis as the US Government is about to embark on a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street, and now martial law in the United States?
Beginning in October the Army will have an “active unit” stationed in side the United States. This will be the first time for this happening in the US. Not to mention it’s breaking posse comitatus. Why is this happening? Why are we worried about civil unrest now?

“Martial law” is a euphemism for military dictatorship. When foreign democracies are overthrown and a junta establishes martial law, Americans usually recognize that a fundamental change has occurred. . . . Section 1076 is Enabling Act-type legislation-something that purports to preserve law-and-order while formally empowering the president to rule by decree.
More expressly, SourceWatch explains further about the process that has allowed this to come about:
The John W. Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2006 (PL 109-364), “named for the longtime Armed Services Committee chairman from Virginia,” was signed October 17, 2006, by President George W. Bush. The Act “has a provocative provision called ‘Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies’,” the thrust of which “seems to be about giving the federal government a far stronger hand in coordinating responses to [Hurricane] Katrina-like disasters,” Jeff Stein, CQ National Security Editor wrote December 1, 2006.
“But on closer inspection, its language also alters the two-centuries-old Insurrection Act, which Congress passed in 1807 to limit the president’s power to deploy troops within the United States … ‘to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy’,” Stein wrote.
“But the amended law takes the cuffs off” and “critics say it’s a formula for executive branch mischief,” Stein wrote, as “the new language adds ‘natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident’ to the list of conditions permitting the President to take over local authority – particularly ‘if domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order.’”
“One of the few to complain, Sen. Patrick J. Leahy, D-Vt., warned that the measure virtually invites the White House to declare federal martial law. … It ’subverts solid, longstanding posse comitatus statutes that limit the military’s involvement in law enforcement, thereby making it easier for the President to declare martial law,’ he said in remarks submitted to the Congressional Record on Sept. 29.”
While the idea of martial law being enforced in the US might sound almost along the lines of science fiction, who would have thought just last week that a state governor would begin seizing website domains simply because….well….he could! He’s starting with online gambling URLS. Next he’ll be seizing dating site domains perhaps since they “do not conform with family values”?
In California, probably the most liberal of all states, parents are being turned into criminals for teaching their own children. California courts have held that parents do not have a constitutional right to homeschool their children. The decision stunned parents of the state’s roughly 166,000 homeschooled children. The Justice stated, ‘”A primary purpose of the educational system is to train school children in good citizenship, patriotism and loyalty to the state and the nation.” The message: get in line, or go to jail. Anyone scared, yet?
Relating to fear, bank failures seem to be the norm these days. If the FDIC were to run out of money, that might indeed be enough of a reason to enforce martial law….and probably vote for the Green Party.
Election Day cannot come fast enough, but will a new administration be enough?
Assuming of course we are not already in a state of….well….martial law.

The law does not protect people – it only binds them.
As in Australia, America is bound by law upon law so only those that make the law, break it, only those that know the law, break it. They rely on the law to enslave the people under the term “Protection”. People feel protected and so in their lazy minds continue on being told everything is ok, yet in reality are being enslaved.
We must ALL be vigilant (to keep watch, stay awake, carefully observant or attentive). Yet most have been asleep and the robber and the thief have come in the night of slumber and have stolen our freedom. We in Australia have had our Prime minister “Rudd” come back from receiving his orders from the tyrants to put Australia into debt for the good of the country – yeah right… – I’m watching as we too are heading in the same path of America.
But if the righteous stand up in righteousness, then we may have to go through some tribulation for our slumber but in the end will stand in victory.

What is “ Congressional Martial Law”?
The House leadership is using a parliamentary gambit to evade a longstanding House rule that is supposed to ensure that this kind of obfuscation does not occur. That House rule (Rule XIII(6)(a)) provides that a resolution (called a rule) reported by the Rules Committee cannot be considered by the House on the same legislative day that the rule is reported (except by a two-thirds vote of the House). This is supposed to ensure that Members of the House and the public have at least one day to examine and analyze what is in the legislation to be considered before they have to debate and vote on it.
To maneuver around this House rule and rush the revised reconciliation bill and defense appropriation bill to a vote before they have been fully examined, the Rules Committee reported a rule (H.Res. 632) on the legislative day of Saturday, December 17, that would waive the application of Rule XIII(6)(a). Instead, it would allow the Rules Committee to wait until the last minute — and not to report the rules governing consideration of the reconciliation and defense appropriations conference reports, or to release the conference reports themselves, until immediately before debate and votes on the rules and the legislation commences. This despite the fact that the budget legislation is expected to be hundreds of pages long.

It also would be unfair to the millions of Americans whose lives could be altered by this legislation. i just got through talking to a friend who I once thought to be a fairly intelligent patriotic American, and I’ve got to tell we are truly going to have a lot of work on our hands rebuilding this nation. Oh hell with it, point is this country is about to have the largest financial and social collapse since the civil war! I don’t want it, but I didn’t want much of anything I’ve gotten from any branch of our government in my entire life, but I don’t want to keep going down this street we are on, and I truly don’t see a painless resolution of the matters confronting us. I want to go ahead and pull the plug and start back at the constitution. Voting and demonstrating have not worked and in fact are illegal, the first by system and the latter by law. So what does that leave for us, lotta pain either way. One is worsening the slavery system that has been created for us or two, we stop being slaves and start rebuilding the land from plantation to a free country, again!. 101 Ben, did you know the fake password used when trying to enter a secure military place ( at least in the USAF of a while ago ) when under duress is literally called the DURESS word. It’s used so that they don’t let you in. I know that sounds kinda simple, but added to “I have been thrown out of more meetings in this capital …” I think he’s been (re)briefed, very recently, about secure areas, movement control, etc. and may not have an “all access” type of clearance. It makes sense not only for heightened security, but also for martial law and evacuation / COG.

This is off topic but to all of the Religion pushing people who claim this and that, I only have this to say;
I believe that most organized religions were created between the death of Jesus Christ and present as a means to divide the people, thus, as the saying goes, “divide and Conquer”.
There is currently so much division between ALL mankind not only in religion but in Race, Cultural, Political, Socio-Economical, Geographical and even in the most basic of belief structures that we have now become so vastly divided that we no longer even have the ability to work together.
I believe there is a God that is all powerful and watches over his creation, but, I do not believe that he will send ALL SINNERS to this place called Hell for the average person. If this wee the case, why would he have sent Jesus to Earth to forgive peoples sins?
Sure, there is going to be an end to our current system of things, it’s inevitable, This has happened many times throughout history, so this is really just another purging of a corrupt system to make way for the system that has been promised in the Bible.
If we live by the sword, we will die by the sword, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This has happened many times and the stories in the Bible tell you this and God is NOT going to strike you down for choosing to defend yourselves from the Demons that are controlling this present system of things, you are noly protecting what is rightfully yours.

I have talked with thousands of Americans who are truly clueless as to what is going on in the world today, they are still mesmerized with this sense of false Patriotism created after 9/11 and believe every word that is spoken on the television as fact.
With this amount of brainwashed people in this country, we are going to have a very difficult time regaining any semblance of control within our Government today. Sure many of these people see the “Bailout” as a bad thing, but do not have what is necessary to get our country back on track, They would never withdraw their money from their accounts, they would never stop paying taxes, they would never quit the system to make it fail so we could institute a new form of governance, they simply have too much false confidence in a broken system to be of any real value to getting grid of the Cancer that grows within our borders.
This bailout forces us to be economic slaves to our Government and we cannot allow this to stand. Drastic problems call for drastic solutions and if we ever needed a solution before, we definitely need one now.
Support Ron Paul’s bill (H.R.2755) to help rid our country of this Cancer called the Federal Reserve, this is a great start as far as solutions go so far and next should be the IRS.

If you came to faith since 1980 (and I’m one of those) it’s time to get real about your faith. Do you have a faith that would sustain a Great Depression where the land dried up and the topsoil blew away and still the tax man came around for money you didn’t have? God was God then and he’s God now. Do you have a faith that would survive half of your family and friends dying in the Black Plague? God was God then, and he’s God now.

No one knows what the future holds or when any promise of God is going to happen. NO ONE. Our nation and our world face trying times. Well Texas Truth Teller, I would have to agree that this is a spiritual problem. From what I read on your comment, you are a religious man, yet you are Judging another. So I ask you, who are you to Judge?
Moreover, my personal belief is that we are experiencing our own spiritual evolution. We are on the brink of a new way of life, however in order to achieve the golden age the old must collapse before the new can emerge. I think that the mayan’s and summerians knew what they where talking about in regards to solar cycles. Otherwise how is it possible for them to posess the knowledge that they did? I think that we literally create our own reality. So in the end, we experience what we truly believe. So if you believe that there is a jealous and condemning God waiting for you on Judgment day than that’s what you’ll experience. If you truly believe that you are reincarnated into another form of life, than this is what you’ll experience. This would explain why different people from different walks of life experience different things while having an near death experience. The difference between spirituality and religion is that a person spiritual beliefs are very personal and it is up to the person whether they want to share them with others. Whereas a religious person will preach up and down that what he/she has to say is the absolute truth. They will tell you that if you don’t live life this way or do this or that, that your eternal soul will suffer forever. I believe that the truth is different for each one of us, I believe is a higher power but my relationship with this higher power is very personal and private. Everyone has a choice, this is a free will universe. A person can choose to live life in kindness, light and love or live in hatred, darkness and fear. I choose to live in light and love, I choose to show everyone compassion and kindness.
It appears to me Texas Truth Teller that you are spreading fear. You tell people that if they aren’t ashamed of themselves for being sinners and if they don’t worship that they will burn forever. They way I see it is you are spreading darkness, fear.
So in closing,
Don’t be afraid of your Governments and the wars and the evil that you see around you. Just know that all these things must come to pass for us all to ascend to a new world of love and peace. The world is changing and we are the change. Everyone has to start choosing to live in peace and help others to see the light. In doing so you help yourself. Think positive thoughts and know the world is changing in front of our eyes. Our thoughts resonate through the whole universe and every living thing in it. So if you think possitive thoughts than that will resonate through everyone else on the planet and soon everyone will be resonating with positive thoughts. This is the change. You are the change and you have the choice to be the change.
So don’t choose to fear, choose love. Know this, things always work out in the end, and if things aren’t working out, than it’s not the end.

Bush’s plan was to cut out Congress altogether from the funding process and give Paulson and himself the key to the vault (containing $700 billion, enough to fund the rest of his life as King Bush).
If his plan had passed, Bush wouldn’t have needed Congress and their key to the treasury. He could disband them after he declares Marshall Law and have a nice fat wallet.
He already has all the authority he wants (and now the legal ability to carry it out without Congress being able to stop him, by just saying that it’s an emergency). Once a person has all that authority and all the money, he’s a dictator. They even built it in that courts couldn’t review how they spent the money, that they wouldn’t have to divulge exactly what they did with it. Genius!
Bush isn’t stupid, and if you think he is, then you are the fool. He puts on a charade of being the ‘average man’ because we have such strong associations of the mannerisms of men like Hitler and Mussolini. I’m against the $85,000,000, 000.00 BILLION bailout of AIG. Instead, I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000, 000 BILLION to America in a ‘We Deserve It Dividend.’
To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 Billon that equals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.
Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%. Every individual
18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000, 000 right back to Uncle
Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife
has $595,000.00.
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved.
Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads.
Put away money for college – it’ll be there.
Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
Buy a new car – create jobs.
Invest in the market – capital drives growth.

You guys always seem to think that Jesus believing people are the sheep that blindly follow what their God says. Well you know what? I have seen more ’sheep’ just following the govt blindly without a thought as to what is really going on! The govt says you need to vaccinate your children, so everyone lines up for the shots, yet no one questions what is in them. The govt says we all need social security numbers, but no one really questioned why. The govt says all children need to attend school, so they suggest public schools, but how many parents are truly involved in what their child is learning while there? The govt says we need more money to send to so and so, yet no one questions why and although they may put up a small tussle, the money gets sent. Yet, when the Christian stands up against these things because we DO know why, we are the ones called the sheep! I think it is the other way around.
As for Christ being a mythical figure, I suggest you read Josephus’ Complete Works. You will find the record of Jesus as a LIVE person, a crucified person, and a Resurrected person. Josephus was not a believer, he was an extreme Jew who was very methodical on writing about the history of the times.
They can call Martial law in the economic crisis. President Bush can also declare a suspension of the elections during that time. Do some research and read the actual memos and actual documents that show this! A new world order is coming, and the economic crisis, which is felt around the globe, not only was already PROPHESIED by the Prophets of God, but is also the beginning of the end to a NEW WORLD CURRENCY!!
