Farmer Graves wants a real fence, not a virtual fence, on U.S.-Mexico border; Barnes responds
Kay Barnes, in a statement:
“First, we must implement the border security recommendations from the 9/11 Commission that have not been put fully into place. Second, we should take a comprehensive strategy, led by law enforcement, that includes border fences, additional Border Guards, and proven technology and electronic tracking.
“Sadly, my opponent voted repeatedly in the last 7 years against the necessary measures to stop 5 million illegal immigrants from crossing over our border.”

As a farmer, Rep. Sam Graves says he knows a thing or two about fences.
And the Missouri Republican says he knows this for sure: It makes no sense to try to keep out illegal immigrants by building a “virtual fence” on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Standing in front of an iron fence at a fence company in Kansas City, Graves this afternoon called on Congress to pass a bill that would force the Department of Homeland Security to scrap its high-tech virtual fence and build a real fence instead.
“I know if I put up a virtual fence on my farm, it wouldn’t keep any cattle in,” Graves said at a news conference at the Guier Fence Store. “It wouldn’t work at all.”
The congressman has also signed a petition that would force a House vote on a separate bill that would add 8,000 border patrol agents and increase the size of the federal judiciary to deal with illegal immigrants.
In what’s expected to be a tough election year for them, Republicans are trying to put the spotlight on a volatile issue that continues to poll well with their party’s base.
Graves introduced the bill, called the Real Fence Act, earlier this month.
“I think we can get a lot of support for this,” Graves told reporters.

There is no need for a fence at all. Take away the incentives for them to come here illegally and they will stop. It is that simple. Stop giving them welfare and health care and s---. I can’t even get health care for God’s sake and I’m a citizen. I haven’t seen a doctor in nearly a decade, with the exception of a few emergency room visits.
Set up work programs to harvest produce, but stop rewarding them for breaking the law. In past centuries they would’ve been seen as invaders and killed.

I have to agree with Cheney. If they wanted the border secure it would have been done especially considering the crap they spout about homeland security. We spend billions a day to be in Iraq so the Bush Cheney gang can secure themselves a golden parachute. It doesn’t take much to figure out that they are postponing this for a deliberate reason. It is sad that most Americans cant see through the smoke and mirrors but what do you expect from a public who gets their news from a bunch of talking heads on news stations owned by the very corporations profiting from the war. Wake up and smell the fascism America.

The border fence is an excuse to exercise eminent domain and deter attention from the NAU. If the FEDS really wanted to stop illegal immigration there would corporate tax incentives to send factory work to Mexico NOT China, India and the Philippines.
Actually, in some parts of Texas the fence is actually a 26′ tall flood levey and then a 28′ wall behind that. Show me a 28′ tall border wall and I’ll show you a Mexican with a 29′ ladder. WAKE UP AMERICA!

We don’t need no stinkin’ fence. A fence that can keep them out is a fence that can keep us in. I tire of Mexico being blamed for so many of America’s woes. Even the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848 was a misadventure by the United State of America. The U.S., even then, was becoming an interventionist, meddlesome leviathan. What business was it of America’s to intercede in behalf of Texas, which admittedly had a right to secede from Mexico, to invade Mexico proper, even marching in and sacking Mexico City? None at all! That conflict was between Texas and Mexico period. And why did President Andrew Jackson have to massacre all of those Cherokees living in the southeast, causing the Trial of Tears? It seems to me, America after 1820 began its long march toward ruthless empire and the destruction of republican federalism (1861 War of Northern Aggression, 1880? War of US Imperialism Against Hawaii (This is when the queen of Hawaii made her “Day of Infamy” speech which FDR plagiarized for his 1941 famous oratory for a war he helped to start by goading Japan to strike first, an attack on Pearl Harbor in which he and General Marshall had prior knowledge.) 1898 War of US Aggression Against the Dying Empire of Spain, 1907 War of US Imperialism Against the Philippines, etc. ) The US never minds its own business. It has to be militarily and politically involved everywhere in over 130 countries. Is the United State of America the chief architect and enabler of Satan’s New World Order plans? How about a resounding ‘yes’!

This seems rather odd to me, being that Rep. Sam Graves is so involved with NASCO and the proposed NAU. Seems to me it’s another ploy to save his Congressional seat for all of the heat he’s under by Constitutionalists in Missouri. Reminds me of when he co-sponsored the bill that Rep. Ron Paul introduced a while back in opposition to the NAU. That was just a sham to try and ease some of the pressure he’s been feeling back home. Graves is not a man to be trusted. He’s a traitor to the State of Missouri and to the united States.

Well, if they are going to have a virtual fence only using technology, I am so sick of being invaded and our nation going down to 3rd world status those virtual cameras need to have death rays in them. That would keep them out. Have laser death ray technology all along the border with a motion detector eye and a digital form identifyer like Comcast Cable wants to put in their boxes that tells the difference between them and nature’s animals and birds. If they know we mean bussiness they will stay the hell out of America.
It’s time to round up the rest of them and put them back over there when they can’t return too. It’s time to end the welfare they get and all this bending over backwards to make them happy by even having a choice of Spanish and English on every box, paper, phone recording and in school. It’s time to give Americans free health care instead of charging me $400 a month for it so I can pay for their free care and having their anchor babies.
I’ve had it with this country and this politically correct bullcrap. They are invading us just like any enemy force, and force needs to happen to end this or it will never get better. This country was built by tough men and women who weren’t afraid to fight for their rights to live in a decent, civilized country. Look what we have built! They are destroying our economy and the I blame the politicians and the beasts who are their owners, and we all know who they are, dang Bilderbergs! IM from St. Louis, and now live in a border town in deep south texas. What I see here EVERYDAY would blow people’s MINDS up north and back home! English IS a second language. Its disgusting. I know it’s off subject and I see some new names up on here. Anywho my newborn boy is due for his shots. I’m strongly against them and my wife is so-so about them (misinformed honestly mother in-law disagrees with me on them and pressures my wife about them). Whole other story. Below is the State law on immunization’s. Pay attention to the last sentence. F*cking pisses me off honestly and I don’t agree with it in any manner. Anyone have any suggestions on this matter.
N.M. Stat. Ann. § 24-5-2 (2007)
§ 24-5-2. Unlawful to enroll in school unimmunized; unlawful to refuse to permit immunization
It is unlawful for any student to enroll in school unless he has been immunized, as required under the rules and regulations of the health services division of the health and environment department [department of health], and can provide satisfactory evidence of such immunization. Provided that, if he produces satisfactory evidence of having begun the process of immunization, he may enroll and attend school as long as the immunization process is being accomplished in the prescribed manner. It is unlawful for any parent to refuse or neglect to have his child immunized, as required by this section, unless the child is properly exempted.
