Shortwave Radio was here before the internet I know I started to listen to shortwave in 1987 and then internet radio took over shortwave radio, which closed down the BBC World Service on Shortwave and even Radio Moscow, Radio Belgum. If the internet shuts down then we will be buying old school boomboxes with shortwave bands 1 and 2 with a cassette deck recorder like we did back in the 80’s. Stop paying taxes and watch their system fall. It would work as long as we could educate the masses, something similar to the Tea Parties but on a much larger scale. They “system” (NWO) would use the outcome of the people not paying taxes as a means to stomp on our faces. Fear mongering and blaming us, saying our refusal to pay taxes has lead to the destruction of the country.
We would have to counteract their propaganda by educating people, proving to our people what these sick individuals have been doing to them. As it stands there are still too many people who think that the current system actually helps and protects them. The NWO mouth pieces, at it stands right now, would use our “tax revolt” against us, it would be a Hegelian dialectic, they wouldn’t have to lift a finger in order to synthesize the outcome.
That is where the the danger lies in a tax revolt. Without the masses understanding the true workings of the system they would easily be manipulated into believing the NWO.

I agree with you completely accept on the point of riot. While I would like to see the NWO dismantled peacefully, it is unrealistic to belieave that possible. I have seen no real effect in peaceful protests. We are just to far past that, perhaps if people would have peacefully protested in mass effort 50 years ago we might not be in this dilema. But unfortunately that was not the case and these criminals do not care how much we complain. Force on a mass scale is the only viable option to end this madness. We the people must riot en mass to end this tyrannical deathgrip that the NWO has on us.

If they attack the internet and try to tax or federalize it, the amount of young people in this country alone who know and use the internet on a daily basis will want to become educated in cyber attacks, and there are ALOT of people who know basics of how to launch an attack and besides just USA, people all over the planet will begin educating themselves in these attacks and most inevitably will launch THE SINGLE BIGGEST INTERNET ATTACK IN HISTORY.

Within 6 hours of the first stage google, aol, compuserve and alike networks were no longer in service..
It took almost 3 days to regain the networks..
50 something people took down some of the biggest internet networks at that time..
You cannot tell me that the general population doesnt know some basics about these and regulating or taxing the internet will only bring fire upon the goverments of the world

We will still be able to communicate, in the old days there was private networks….telnet and BBS (and then we have radio, CB, HAM)…however, what pisses me off most about this…I’m a freelance web designer/developer. I’m degreed and have been in business for 10 years…my career just started to take off before the economy collapsed. I love what I do, am very good at it, and it has taken me a long time to get as good as I am. Now I’m squeaking by, but SOMEONE always needs a web site for SOMETHING so there is always some work, even if I have to take low pay to make the bills any given month. I’m struggling but I am lucky to be in this field so I can at least keep a roof over my head when we have people in tent cities and worse. They are talking about an on/off switch for my career, my livelihood, my passion. To some of you, you are worried you won’t be able to get online. To me, I’m worried about that AND I have $32,000 invested in my degree and career, 13 years of my life, my heart and soul, my means to pay the bills. If they pull something like this REST ASSURE a mob of web developers will start class action litigation. Its bad enough so much IT work is outsourced to India. Ironic what this dude’s name is, how fitting. I’l be writing this weiner and telling him to choke on one.

I like that idea, a class action lawsuit. I am studying now for web design. If they do this , the future job that I am studying for will be ruined too. Government governs best which governs least. I cant say that the steps the government has been taking lately has helped many people at all. The bailout gave money to banks and was only a bailout to people they chose to help and not the american people. They are stealing our money, freedom, liberty and most of all , they are stealing the future. Enough is enough. We all need to start suing and protesting and get active peacefully. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but anything IT related is a “no need skill” during and after this collapse. It will only get worse as more businesses close up, unemployment sky-rockets, and the feds continue to federalize everything. I know it hurts to lose the last 2 decades of your effort, money, reputation, etc…. But we are at a crossroads where we all need to be thinking about survival! If I can offer a suggestion, I would start studying skills that will be in demand in a collapsed society… Gunsmithing, ammo reloading, auto mechanics, welding, horticulture and farming. Learn how to build your own solar panels and water distiller using simple electronics and mechanical means. Use just a portion of the brain power you devoted to becoming a web designer, and it will serve you well in the coming months. Acquire every e-book, instruction manual, and schematic you can get, because if the internet does get “switched off”, that information will be the most valuable thing we have.

I don’t think they will turn off our internet, since it is also their “net” which will later be used to catch us in. The web is a great name for it. If your enemies are talking on a frequency that you found, do you shut it down, or listen as long as you can in hopes to cut them off further down the road? The sad truth is that if they are listening, or are going to listen, there is little to do to oppose. That is unless you are active in fighting for your “rights” and willing to die to keep them. But you already know this of coarse and soon this will be buried under ridicule and smug laughter of those who will continue to talk until they are strangled by an unfortunate reality, when there is no where for flight you only have one choice.

If they’re talking about it now, then it means they already have the technology. Before I became a priest, I worked at an AT&T call center in the mid-90’s. One of the telephone operators was fired after a call that she facilitated was reviewed in order to verify a customer complaint. I asked one of the I.T. guys if our computers were saving and filing all of the calls that went through the center. He told me, “Yes, but don’t tell anyone. We’re not supposed to have the technology.” That was between 12 to 15 years ago. Imagine the technology they have today.

Look, if the Pentagon and the Govt’ was serious about “cyber security” they would build their own Internet for all their systems and national infrastructure. But refer to the PNAC documents – the ones that needed a “new Pearl Harbor” to execute their designs in any sort of reasonable time frame – and they talk explicitly about controlling the infosphere.
This is an area we can all fight back in – without investing anything more than time and dedication. Online are millions of tutorials and free software you can use to develop your own applications, set up ad hoc networks, build up alternate video sharing sites to displace YouTube, P2P file sharing … etc.
P2P alone has wrecked havoc with the media corporations … we need to protect the Internet and we need to make an Internet 2 for the people that the government can’t shut down without locking us ALL up.
