Reporters from INFOWARS.COM were harassed and threatened with arrest in downtown Kansas City, Missouri after filming the local branch of the private Federal Reserve building.
Security guards working for the bank approached the reporters at a city park that houses the National WWI memorial and demanded that they provide their names and disclose why they were filming the building.
After Aaron Dykes refused to provide his full name, he was told to leave public property immediately or face arrest because the bank was concerned about what he was filming– despite the fact that the female security guard repeatedly admitted he had done nothing wrong. In the face of Free Speech under the First Amendment, as well as common sense, the other reporter, Rob Jacobson was also told to leave despite complying with the request to provide his name.
"Officer Booth", the female private security guard for the Federal Reserve, dared to pronounce that he was "guilty by association."
When this reason was challenged, the stupefied "Officer Collins" told reporters that they were not to ask anymore questions and should in fact leave immediately. What jurisdiction they had– if any– is unclear, as the cameramen were approached on city property.
In some respects, this is hardly surprising in the same state that issued the secret MIAC report to police– instructing them to watch for "potential terrorists" who might be identified by their support for Ron Paul, bumper stickers of the USA flag or who hold sentiments against the Federal Reserve bank.
The Federal Reserve– who have branches at some 38 locations across the country– have repeatedly trampled on the rights of free speech and attempted to challenge anyone daring to film their building. It is clear they regard any press as a threat.
It happened to an unaffiliated cameraman outside the Washington D.C. location who was told no filming of any ‘federal’ buildings was allowed under any circumstances unless special clearance was given by the Fed’s press office.
We Are Change founder Luke Rudkowski was also challenged by a security officer outside of the Federal Reserve’s New York location who demanded to see what had been filmed under threat of arrest (as documented in his activist film ‘Dedicated’).
Shockingly, it has also been revealed that military intelligence spied on peaceful demonstrators who met simultaneously at "End the Fed" rallies across the country, including Alex Jones & Wayne Paul, brother of Congressman Ron Paul.
The stifling of free speech and the attempt to intimidate reporters and legitimate protesters is despicable.
The outrage over the privately owned bank has grown as more & more members of the public have realized that this entity– which has been given the power to print our money– is not a part of the U.S. government but a deception organization hiding behind the name "Federal."
Rep. Ron Paul, among others, has led the effort to audit this unaccountable bank and end its ability to inflate the money supply, and ultimately to target its value.
Its chairman Ben Bernanke has refused to tell Congress who it has lent money to under the TARP bailout plan, and in what amount– despite its relevance to dealing with the current financial crisis.
The compounding acts of secrecy– at the ground level and in the halls of the U.S. government– should sound alarm bells for the sleeping American people that this bank must no longer control the economic policies of this nation.

Out of chaos comes order.
This is what they believe.
Whey else would they bankrupt the world in one broad stroke. It’s quite genuis actually and quite evil. This is nothing more than one of the final strokes of a long endevour, “The Great Work.”
As long as they can control the chaos, that they will have created, that is their utmost concern at this point. We are one false-flag away from a police state.
They’ve been preparing this for a long time.
I fear we are all so compartmentalized that we are easy pickings for the next phase of martial law and depopulation.
God help us.

Traffic cameras are all over Kansas City too. Yet, the MSM new stations tell us that only five of them(if I remember correctly) are active. So why all the hundreds of others? So you’re saying that it ISN’T a problem that US citizens aren’t even allowed to film the outside of a quasi-government policy-making building from a public location without getting approval? Do you want to live in a free country or are you happy being told to move along while they decide your fate?
Suppose, for instance, I wanted to film all the entrances to the building to see who all is coming in and going out? Should I need to get permission to see who is making the regulations that I am forced at gunpoint to obey?

I would like to speak briefly to the dangers of what I call “extreme mindshift” – a component of the Hegelian Dialectic Type Strategy.
As a kid, I realized that if I did something bad I could keep my punishment to a minimum by lying. No, not the typical lie but something more sophisticated. I would come to my parents and say something to the effect, “Before I show you my grade card, I want you to know that I made two F’s in school.” After their response of disappointment, I would tell them the truth that I had made a C.
We KNOW we can film any private building. But if we argue from the point of view that this is not a Federal Building (alone), then we allow them to shift our paradigm. If the building was Federal, we could still film it.
Here’s a few more examples. When we argue that my home state of Tennessee cannot lawfully use Marines or Army to set up a road block to stop and inspect/search cars, and the state representative comes on arguing that troops should not do this because of how it might shock our citizens – we give silent consent to allowing the POLICE to do this.
This is the current tactic I believe they are now having to employ because we are kicking the NWO’s butts. Like the MIAC documents for police policy, with Ron Paul etc. They go to the extreme, so that when we oppose the extreme as outrageous – their solution is to tone it down to the degree that seems reasonable – even though the modification is STILL outrageous. But now, our dumbed down public says to their eslavers, “OK, now that’s better.”

Your right good comment. They were effective in nullifying Ron Pauls campaign by giving validity to the false left right paradigms in convincing the public that the two parties Republic and Democratic were dialectically opposed while portraying Ron Paul as the lunatic fringe. The public does not have the depth to understand what Paul explains. So how could we expect that the public has the depth to see through the lies that were told to them so they would vote in the most radical fringe fascist president America has ever seen.

Hypothetically, if I were filming a public memorial on public grounds and a private citizen (ie. security guard) from a building more than one hundred yards away and across a street approached me wearing a sidearm and started making demands, I might find it appropriate to inform said citizen that I too might be armed and they could either 1. leave me alone, 2. attempt an illegal arrest, which would entail a violation of my civil rights or 3. “Get it on” because their blatant display could be perceived as a threat to my life and I’m not going down without a fight.

Lou Dobbs is the most trustworthy cable news guy. His view about the Fed expressed by him on his radio show back in late ought eight was Wack. I was on hold waiting to talk to him about Christmas. A caller talked to him about the End the fed protest and Dobbs dismissed it as an extreme libertarian view. Lou Dobbs radio show has it’s moments but he often beats a dead horse to death like illegal immigration without going to the root cause. I like his tv show better than his radio show. How many times is this going to happen before people realize that security guards have no police powers? Why do people automatically think that someone with a uniform has the power of arrest. A security guard is just an employee of a company, and like any other employee and he/they have no power to arrest anyone. If you are on private property they can tell you to leave as the representative of the owner. But on public property they have no authority at all. If one of them askes for your name tell them to go to hell. If they try to get pushy kick the crap out of them. Security guards are not the police.

> Why do people automatically think that someone with a uniform has the power of arrest
Not automatically, but they _may_ have that power. Unless you have very carefully studied the laws governing this particular jurisdiction, you put yourself in a risk to go to very real jail for whole variety of offenses, from disturing the piece to resisting arrest. Further, since the guards are quite likely armed, if you “kick the crap out of them”, it’s possible that you will be simply shot at the spot. If you watch the movements of the wide guard in the first episode, there’s no doubt that he was ready to become very physical; it very well might be empty threat, but then it might be not. In this particular case of them guarding federal building, you can be 100% assured that there would be absolutely no forthcoming cooperation neither from the police should the police been called, nor from the judge.

This is a 3 minute video that was made by the head of the “Jewish Task Force”. In this video the head of the “Jewish Task Force” slanders both George Galloway and Alex Jones. I suggest Alex Jones SUE the pants off the “Jewish Task Force” after watching this video. Everyone should leave a comment on youtube telling the “Jewish Task Force” to go screw themselves!!!

Those 2 security guards should have been ignored.
If they persisted they should have been warned to
keep their distance. If they touched you you should
have beat the living daylights out of them.
It’s real simple. DEFEND YOUR RIGHTS OR LOSE THEM!

I have a friend who is one of these retards, he thinks he is a real cop when in reality he is nothing more than a private security guard.
April 14th, 2009 at 10:53 am
I guess the reaction of the reporters should be as simple as “yes, go ahead and arrest me”. Discussing legal matters with the thugs is absolutely pointless. Especially in the second episode of the video where the security woman behaves like “offender” is a kid and she is a teacher educating him. If you think I violate the law, go ahead and arrest me. Depending on the state law, the guard in the first fragment who threatened the reporter with jail might have committed the crime already by that statement. The reporters should either call the police themselves, or ignore the thugs, rather than engaging in pointless discussion with them.
There’s also no need to be polite with thugs threatening you, so the answer to the question “how you are doing” from the uniformed guard should be “f@ck off”; to “you are not cooperating” – absolutely, I am not. And so on. It’s not a small talk as you might think, in fact every phase they say, including “how you are doing” is the result of their training, and pursues psychological purpose to make you admit that they are authority and you are violator, to make you feel guilty and afraid of them. The best tactic with them as well as with police is not to talk about anything at all. Sorry mam, no comment, and I will not cooperate with any of your requests and will not talk with you; if you think I’m violating the law, go ahead and call the police.

I like how she’s wearing jackboots in the last scene.
That is totally illegal to detain someone for filming a building.
Aaron and Rob have the same legal right to arrest the security officers as they would to arrest them – it’s the right of citizen’s arrest. If someone performs an illegal citizen’s arrest, they are personally liable for kidnapping someone.
Unless it is private property such as a store, there is no right to make someone move along. They do have the right to verbally bluff people into moving though.

Wht’s the big deal. You are not allowed to tape the Federal Reserve. This is understandble. I mean it could be a terrorist scouting out his target. This is just precationary not tyranny. Everyone knows your not allowed to film a potential target. And the Fed feels it could be a target. Ever heard of protecting your country.

Cindy, you’re kidding me, right? Show me the law or even a regulation that forbids anyone from filming a federal building? Or any other building for that matter. It doesn’t exist. What does exist is police harassment and intimidation. And, I’m sad to say, more and more cowered and coerced citizens who would rather live in a security state / police state than risk 1 in 500 million chance of something happening to an FRB office building in KC. Sad. Very sad.

No, Cindy is not kidding, she is absolutely serious, and more to the point, this is the way 99% of Americans feel:
1. this is understandable
2. you could be a terrorist
3. putting you into jail for that is just precautionary
4. hence it’s not a tyranny
5. everyone knows that
6. all of the above is protecting your country.
In fact, it would be hard to sum this up in more concise way. Bravo Cindy!
I only wonder if the country that came to this state of mind is worth protecting.

Cindy, Let’s put this into perspective. If anyone had been able to film/photograph Auschwitz, Treblinka or Sobiboor, I doubt those operations would have continued. Perhaps Siberia would not have it Gulag reputation if it had been filmed.
Now maybe the Federal Reserve isn’t a concentration camp. But it most certainly finances US foreign policy, which is abused many times over. Most recently Georgia and Moldova where the blood most definitely points to the root of US Foreign policy….the financiers.

Cindy, a real terrorist would of course use hidden camera. Very well trained terrorist wouldn’t even need the camera, they are trained to memorize absolutely every detail by looking. Someone openly filming the building on camera can’t be anybody but tourist.
Besides, you are not consistent, Cindy. You said I might be a terrorist scouting for target. But you have to admit that I also might be a terrorist even if I’m not filming the building; it would be too naive to try to detect the terrorists by looking who is filming federal buildings, wouldn’t it. If we really want to protect the country, you have to admit that we have to arrest everybody who might be a terrorist, filming or not – which means everybody at all – and thoroughly investigate if he/she is terrorist or not; that’s the only way to protect the country safely. Will you show the example of protecting, Cindy? can we start with you?
April 14th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
Yes I believe it is illegal to film Federal Buildings without permission. However the thing you must remember is that the Federal Reserve buildings are not Federal, they are owned by private banks not the federal govt. And that is the point they should have argued if they wanted to,I am sure those rent a cops would not have known that.
April 14th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
I’m a big architecture nut, so like to photograph interesting buildings. But you know? I get nervous every time I take a photo of a government building (or the building of any large or “significant” organization). I know, that’s wrong, but who knows what under-educated rent-a-cop or federal employee will come up to me and confiscate my camera (and probably deny doing it)? More and more it’s like the USSR 1980.
April 14th, 2009 at 2:15 pm
Has anyone seen the http://www.preparemetrokc.org website. It makes me sick. I blogged about it and hope Alex will do the same. This Stalinesk citizen spying campaign for so-called ‘domestic terrorists’ is disgusting.
April 14th, 2009 at 2:25 pm
In USSR 1980 there was not a single sane person who would not know propaganda from reality, and who would take what was printed in the official media as anything but propaganda. That media, further, was under very tight control of KGB, every printed line and every shot frame was read and approved before it could be publishes. There were party cells on every enterprise overseeing that the people “behave”. Still, everybody knew that these were only the rules to play by. Nobody in their right mind would even think that 1% of the propaganda might be true. Jokes about the party, KGB, and that propaganda were widespread; snitches who would report someone to KGB were universally hated and sometimes even killed.
As you can see, USSR 1980 was much more mind-free and sincere society.

Private security turds. They may have powers to arrest but on the private property of the thieves bank because the are private security and thus private law. Corporate security. Their jurisdiction ends at the property line. And does Not extend to public property and/or least of all on a war memorial which was bought and paid for with the blood of good Americans. Tell them in no uncertain terms to F**ck off. This makes me want to go one to of their branches and see if I cant get the same response from one of the rent a pigs and get this party started. Take the bastards out on the spot and leave em bleeding. They have a lot of guts telling Americans they cant be on they own property. That fat nazi bastard needs to be dead.
April 14th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
DUH! Of course you’re not allowed to film this building! They keep MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in CASH in the Federal Reserve. Erring on the side of caution, the security guard doesn’t know what you’re filming or why. For all they know you are trying to record their security while planning to rob them. I work at a bank and if anyone tries to take pictures they are told to stop and we will call the police if they do not. We don’t keep that much on hand (not anywhere near what the Reserve keeps obviously) but you’re still not allowed to film!

Lisa, could you tell us, what the police is doing when you call them? when the person who is filming is within your territory, you probably charge with trespassing; but what if they film from outside, standing on the public grounds? do you still call the police? what the police is doing when they come? what if the offender says he has the right to film from public ground and does not cooperate, do they arrest him? what’s the charge?
I’m curious, does it occur to your bank that someone minimally serious about robbing it, not to mention federal reserve, would have no problem filming all he wanted using one of 1,000 hidden ways so you wouldn’t notice?

A Federal Reserve Bank IS NOT a Federal building,… any more than is a Federal Express building!
Federal Reserve banks are just privately owned businesses that happen to contain the word ‘Federal’.
