Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) ended the morning today shuffling papers in silence at the head of an empty table, as Republican senators boycotted Day 1 of her panel’s markup of historic climate legislation.
“This is an opportunity. I ask my colleagues to show up. We’re going to be extremely patient. We’re going to be here. We’ll take some time to wait for our friends,” said Chairwoman Boxer, at the end of the aborted morning session of the Environment and Public Works Committee.
But if Republicans prolong the boycott, she hinted that Democrats, with a five-seat majority on the panel, are prepared to go on without them. “We’re not going to be deterred. We’ll do our work. It’s our job. We’re going to follow the committee rules to the letter,” she said.
That rule allows the committee chairman to bypass the requirement that at least two members of the minority are needed to constitute a quorum. Republicans call it a “nuclear option” that will undermine committee traditions and put a bipartisan bill out of reach.

Good effort to try to make money off of Alex Jones listeners. When you go to his “tiny spark” website he recommends a software to copy the softward. He provides a link to download this “free software”. Of course, the link is nothing more than an affiliate link which he makes money on for every download and purchase of the product.
But I guess we can’t blame other people for trying to make money off of our countries plight… Alex does it all the time.

F Off , why do you begrudge Alex to make a good & decent living? Noone said that you couldn’t do what he does. He doesn’t have a monopoly on the radio or websites. I listen to Alex every now and then. I have purchased one or 2 dvds of his, but remember it cost money to make money. So what if he is good at what he does. This effects you negatively how? He does wake up alot of people, so live & let live. Not eveyone is meant to do what Alex does on a daily basis as not everyone is meant to be a Doctor,or a Farmer or a Veterinarian, etc… Give it a rest & get on with living your life. Just try and not being envious or covetous of what others may achieve over what you maynot. Good Luck.

Tom Tancredo (like him or not) has been speaking publicly with the Constitution Party lately. Tancredo said, that when he was a Republican congressman and was pushing for a border-wall along with mass deportations of illegals, that he was called a traitor by Karl Rove. He feels he has a burden-of-knowledge and is trying to tell people what is really happening. It would be great if Alex had him on to talk about Rove other insider issues.
